There on the ground lays the bodily remnants of herself on the ground, with bits and pieces laying round and about.
"Well this is kind of problematic..."
"Traveler what do you mean?" She asks.
"Your body is shredded to bits and I don't think its appropriate for me to actually fix you here in this wrecked ship any longer seeing the reactor just started leaking its contents outside its vacuum-sealed containment."
"Its better for me to move you out of here less this ship's reactor can't hold itself much longer. Here let me carry you out of here."
He then started to pick her up on the ground, she wasn't that heavy in the least at most 40 to 50 pounds of weight and we shouldn't discuss a female's weight as it is taboo for any female of any race.
Her body was just her torso and her left arm remaining. Rene looked at it keenly, it was covered with very small runes etched on layers upon layers of metal that was lightweight, mana conductive, resilient and durable and mostly flexible seeing as her torso is shaped with a handful of assets covered by mostly torn up clothing.
With even a slight grasp, he can see his fingers sink on the side of her metallic chest as his mentality started to rock from its cage due to the lack of social contact and pent up desires.
Rene started to heat up but seemingly stops himself to continue any further, they just meet each other for like 20 minutes and their relationship is something like that of a damsel in distress and her knight in shining armor.
"Well upsy daisy."
He then continues to carry her up in a princess carry before briskly walking out of the hallways of the ship then out in the open meadows of trash and desecrated remains of the ship crash landed from space.
Rene looks before the latter end of the ship where he sees the leaking reactor by the exposed end of the ship.
(Well any longer and that reactor will blow up any second, we're in luck that it hasn't decided to blow up yet) Rene thought to himself before hearing in the background a loud noise, after what just happened he faces at the automaton's blushing face.
"Well it's gonna be a long journey ahead before I can fix you up, not bragging but for sure I can fix you up in a jiffy."
"Well lead the way traveler." Synesthesia says before she continues to blush as she keeps thinking all the related knowledge about what usually happens in this kinds of clichè situations she could find in her memory banks before her head started to heat up and all until you can see visible steam flowing up, before feeling terribly embarassed.
The two together started to head south their current location towards Rene's contemporary homebase, until then seemingly out of nowhere Synesthesia asks out of nowhere.
"So I was the only one who was left onboard in the ship? Was there really anyone who wasn't left vaporized and gone? Did you really check up on all the rooms in the ship?" She asks hurriedly and confused.
"I can confirm that I've checked all the available rooms with open doors and broken doorways on my on the ship, didn't bother with the locked ones as I might risk my life over nothings since I saw the reactor started leaking."
"The ship itself is also in terrible condition as it upper end was all that was left, with the basic allocation of the rooms in a standard layout. What was left of the ship was the backup secondary reactors, the repair bay, the warehouse, and various research rooms."
He then added "The latter end you see of the ship was the sub-reactors location, I found you on the research rooms hallway. Then obviously on the end of that hallway was the repair bay for assault suits as this ship has rails on the roof for speed launching. Then what was missing of this ship was it's middle and latter portions, which would be the living quarters, the engines and the bridge. Which is obviously scrapped on its way down from orbit."
"I will spare you from the long talk, basically you were lucky to survive and not end up like the others. Don't be disheartened, live with the burden of your kind as it weighs down on yourself, treat each other day that you survive as something you can tribute to their deaths and live on as the survivor of a tragedy befaled on your race."
Synesthesia's face started to moisten up as she hears his statement of the obvious, even if she was the only survivor of the tragedy she needs to live on as one of the few who could survive on their hot escape from the
They have arrived on their location before sundown, with the hazy sun falling down to rest beyond the smoggy horizon as the three moons starts to rise up from their slumber. What was infront of them was a ship comparable to
With patchwork on many holes of the ship it sustained before crash landing onto the landscape below and a factory undergoing automated production installed on the engine portion of the ship itself to provide heat required in the smelting of the varied components collected from various mounds outside then onwards to separate what was useful and what was not then stored to the vault that Rene built himself by connecting the existing storage area to the armory and the cargo hold of the ship.
"Welcome to my humble abode, haven't started to clean up as I hadn't expected to stumble upon you miss, but excuse for the clutter around the place." Rene says before he walks before a bench beside a workbench of unfinished equipment, various leftover materials and components, tools laying everywhere.
There he places the automaton's body before inspecting the details of the damage of her body before thinking the solution on how to repair it.
"Well miss, sorry I lied about fixing you up in a jiffy since I didn't expect that an automaton's body both internal and external is so much different to that of the compact mechanical beings that I worked on before."
"It might take a while before I can mix something up as I need to fill in the holes in my knowledge about your race miss." He says sadly.
"No worries mister, I'm fine with waiting since that's my specialty before this catastrophy." She says with a wide smile.
"So a question first before I ask my suggestion for a temporary solution."
"What is it sir?"
"Can you upload your conciousness on a separate vessel? I need to study your body and its remanants before I can effectively deal and possibly improve the problems concerning about your decimated body."
"Well it is possible but it will be a bit quirky for me before I can achieve normal operations."
"Great! For my sugggestion, since we're in the same boat. How about I upload your consciousness on a drone body that I could make and help me in more ways than one, you could even help in restoring your body!" He says.
"I'm up for it mister!" She accepts in extreme enthusiasm since she couldn't repay his kindness with nothing so she can pay him with her body!
"Well let's get to it." Rene says with a creepy wide smile.
