Chapter 1053: A Celebrity Team Leader

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

The return journey took more than 10 days. Wang Zheng and Lear returned to the Elite Academy quietly. Jiang Feng understood the mission's process from the two of them. Wang Zheng and Lear had a tacit mutual understanding in this aspect. Both did not make any extra comments. Jiang Feng gave both of them excellent evaluations for the mission.

It was actually not difficult to return alive from this mission. Based on their abilities, even if their Ability Xs were sealed, the two of them could survive just with physical techniques. The difficult part was figuring out how to break the stalemate within a short period of time. It was not that Jiang Feng did not want to give them the specific details of the Easter Plan, but the special agent group did not receive any more detailed intelligence at all. Rather than limiting them, he might as well give them free rein.

Those from the Elite Academy were usually tame and docile, but Jiang Feng did not want them to be those students who were brainless and sticks in the mud. The truly strong could flexibly adapt to any environment.

These two had very student-like auras. It was basically useless to put on a disguise. But they had actually found their own ways to complete the mission. That was ability.

There would definitely be rewards, and it was more of the good comments that would be recorded in their case files. The so-called records were actually useless and indeed meaningless. But to talk about its purpose, it would have a great effect during key moments.

Both Wang Zheng and Lear were very calm. Coming out from Jiang Feng's place, the two of them did not interact. They looked at each other and let out a hostile smile.

Their two directions became further as they journeyed on.

Wang Zheng returned to the Saruman Snake's training ground. The academy had prepared specialized training grounds for the various big battle teams. The conditions were very good.

Wang Zheng was also surprised that there were actually more than 10 new additions to their battle team. It looked like many things had happened in the period he was absent.

He did not disturb anyone and watched through the window the battle-cries in the training ground. Lie Xin was in a sexy exercise outfit, her good figure on display. From hotness, Wang Zheng really had not seen anyone who could compare to Lie Xin.

Seeing Lie Xin so focused on training and continually teaching the newbies, it looked like she had totally walked out of her depression.

Achilles was having a friendly battle with Zhang Shan. Zhang Shan was the type who joined in halfway, and while the initial phase of his breathing technique was impressive, his time spent was, after all, still shorter. He was still lacking in the level of attainment and needed to train continuously. Achilles and Lie Xin also took turns during this period of time to "attend" to him. In addition, he and Sweeney had quite a few exciting battles. This allowed Zhang Shan to earn a relatively peaceful environment for improvement.

Wang Zheng watched only for a while and he could see Zhang Shan's improvement. Focus was very important.

Mu Zhen was also present. This tall and bulky fellow alone occupied a large field. He was carefully practicing what Wang Zheng taught him at Tita Star. It was all basic skills. It was said that Mu Sen and the others were going to promote it amongst the Tita citizens. The Tita giants were not good at livelihood skills, so they had to keep on fighting and training. Even if they joined the Milky Way Alliance, they still could not change their current situation. Hence, Mu Zhen had discussed with Lan Ling already. The army would be chosen mainly from the Tita giants. Wise men could engage in business or management. However, no matter how smart the giants were, they were not suitable for those things. This was definitely the character of Tita citizens, which could not be changed in a few years or more. And giants indeed had the potential to become good warriors.

Mu Zhen was really happy. Now everyone had already accepted him and he even had worshippers. Compared to the arrogance of the Arbiters, the solitary Mayans, Mu Zhen seemed to be more sociable and willing to make friends. Under Ai Ruifen's introduction, he also got to know quite a number of students from other majors.

Coming back from a place like Maklou, Wang Zheng still preferred this relaxed atmosphere. His lips curled into a smile.

At this moment, someone patted Wang Zheng's shoulder, "Classmate, if you want to join the Saruman Snake battle team, the registration time is during the weekends."

Wang Zheng turned back. The girl in front of his eyes was a stranger.

Then, in the next moment, Wang Zheng smiled bitterly and helplessly. The girl opened her eyes wide and let out a piercing scream.

… He did not look that scary, right?

"God, oh my God, Team Leader, you're back. God, the living Team Leader is back!" The girl flew towards Wang Zheng and grabbed his arm. It was as though she was afraid of Wang Zheng flying away.

That sharp scream summoned everyone. All of them pounced onto Wang Zheng upon seeing him.

Wang Zheng was screaming away. "I'm suffocating, can you guys be less enthusiastic."

Zhang Shan ignored him and fiercely punched him. "You dare to disappear again, and for such a long time before returning. You caused me to lose sleep!"

"Bullsh*t, you and Sweeney are having such a good time. We all thought that you are going to join and live as a member of the Asura battle team!" Lie Xin teased.

"What nonsense! Am I such a person without principles?!"

Everyone burst out laughing. Wang Zheng looked helplessly at the girl beside him. "You don't have to worry. I'm not running. You can let go now."

Only then did the girl react and quickly bow. "Hi, Team Leader, I'm Wei Wei from Caragal Republic. I'm a new officer in the battle team. Please take care of me."

"Wei Wei's major is international politics. Luo Er recommended her here," Achilles said.

Wang Zheng nodded. He would not bother too much about these matters. Anyway, he knew that anyone who could get into Elite Academy X would not be ordinary.

Everyone joked around before they finally let Wang Zheng go. Wang Zheng, Zhang Shan, and the main members assembled at the meeting room. The other new members continued their training. But it was obvious that the atmosphere of the whole Saruman Snake had changed when Wang Zheng returned. It became more passionate.

Wang Zheng sat in the chair. "Are you guys into multi- level marketing now? Everyone seems a little too enthusiastic."

Zhang Shan shook his head. "We did not say anything. If I had the energy, I would promote myself instead. It's too bad that you have such high popularity. Actually, I think that I'm still more handsome."

Zhang Shan tidied his hairstyle. Oli at one side could not hold back her laughter. "I feel that Achilles is more handsome."

Zhang Shan took one look at the cool and calm Achilles and helplessly muttered under his breath that in this era that valued beauty, unless he had cosmetic surgery, he could never compare to the good genes of the Doyle Family.

They did not chat for long. Ai Xiaolu and Luo Er arrived as well. "Welcome back. Our Master Team Leader has returned home in triumph from his mission!"

After hugging the both of them, "Don't be so exaggerated. You made this seem like a life or death situation. I just went for a mission."

"Xiaolu, this guy still thinks that we are enthusiastic. He underestimates his own charisma," Zhang Shan said.

Ai Xiaolu and Luo Er also smiled slightly. Actually, procedural process was required to become famous. And Wang Zheng's name was really too famous during this period. If everything came to an end after the Greatest King Competition ended, this kind of influence would slowly reduce. However, SIG was about to begin. The major military academies in various countries were collecting information to research potential powerful opponents. Elite Academy X was no doubt the brightest jewel in the crown, the main research target. Not only that, the latest Greatest King Competition would all the more be first-hand information.

The Saruman Snake battle team was now definitely the biggest enemy of various countries.

If Wang Zheng and the others used to be losers, they could observe their opponents silently and find their weaknesses. But now they had become stars in everyone's eyes. Most probably, all the members of Saruman Snake had been thoroughly studied. There was even an 80% chance that even their sexual orientations were investigated.

In the past, they could take advantage of their opponents' underestimation of enemies. Now, no matter which team met up with them, their opponent would use 200% of their power. It was simple. Defeat Saruman Snake, then you could become famous overnight.

"Teacher Jiang Feng should have told you about SIG. We are one of the teams that received the most attention, and according to my information, Arbiter and Aslan's teams are all coming for us. Hehe, Wang Zheng, you must be prepared mentally."

Ai Xiaolu laughed.

"Xiao Lu is not exaggerating at all. The Arbiter Empire's two most famous military academies in the world, the Iron Academy and the Spirit of War Academy, have dispatched their strongest teams. Their target is absolutely you. Marzu and Olivios are both from Iron Academy and have received the Outstanding Student of the Year awards. Of course, they are only a part of them. Arbiter's Spirit of War Academy is another powerful place. To put it more accurately, Iron Academy has deep connections with the Van family. Then, Spirit of War Academy has a close relationship with another family in Arbiter. Both sides aim to destroy Wang Zheng and Saruman Snake completely. The winner will then internally get the support of Arbiter.

Luo Er said, "Hence, Wang Zheng, you really have to be careful. Marzu and Olivios are definitely outstanding, but definitely not the most outstanding of Arbiter."

Wang Zheng rubbed his nose. "Then should I be more low-key?"

"Tch, what's there to be scared of? A real man faces his challenges. Your brothers will support you. Be brave and go forth. We'll be with you spiritually!" Zhang Shan said grandly. Except he seemed to have a total lack of confidence toward the end.

Just like the battle with Asura, while they won, it did not seem to be a steady win. There were too many variable factors, but a win was a win. Even if they lost in the future, they had won before. Hence Zhang Shan was also very optimistic.

"For Aslan, they will be sending a team from the Aslan Royal Military Affairs Academy. There's also the Aslan Military Officer Academy, which receives less attention from the outside world. They have many powerful people. Imperial Glory lost here and has indeed spurred Aslan's proud and brittle pride. Wang Zheng, you guys really have to be well-prepared. These people definitely are not out here only to beat you guys."

Luo Er said. Here, there was a hint of warning.

The other party would definitely be thinking of ways to defeat them badly. This was unavoidable.

"I think now we have to prepare a few more battle techniques and formations to prevent being targeted," Achilles said. "Xiaolu, can you gather intelligence on the main opponents?"

Ai Xiaolu shook her head. "I can't do it now. This will have to wait until we are at Aslan. The other party will definitely keep their formation a secret. For the whole SIG, only our Elite Academy has open information."

It was indeed unavoidable for the Elite Academy this time.

Asura and Imperial Glory would definitely have some adjustments. Actually, based on their solid raw abilities, they were long used to being targeted. This target was not only on battle techniques but also on psychology. Hence, they were very used to it, whereas Saruman Snake, it was their first time facing such a situation. There could be all sorts of changes both inside and outside of the battle field.

This was a path of training that could not be avoided on their way to becoming stronger.

Wang Zheng laughed. "Don't think of it as so complicated. This is to us a beautiful experience. No matter whether we win or lose, we just have to give it our best."

Everyone suddenly laughed too. Actually, that was true. They had no need to lock themselves up in the chains of title and fame. This was a grand meeting of military academy students from various countries. Putting aside all these competitions, they should focus more on enjoying the process. To be able to exchange blows with various countries' elites, and at the same time to be able to enjoy exciting battles, what could be more important than this?

Wang Zheng was usually very open-minded on these things. Of course, as for getting the championship, he could desire that more than anyone.

The other people continued to host their training, leaving behind Ai Xiaolu and Luo Er in the meeting room. The three of them had more things to take care of.

"Wang Zheng, your mission performance this time was very surprising. I really don't know how you did it." With just the three of them left, Luo Er had no more considerations. These things were not suited to be shared.

Wang Zheng smiled, "There was a bit of a coincidence factor at play. Do you guys know of the Saint Sect?"

Ai Xiaolu thought of it for awhile. "The Saint Sect only recently showed signs of life in the underworld, but based on my understanding, it is a huge organization that has a very long history. It is different from the usual underworld organizations when it comes to the resources they control, their extraordinary technology, and terrifying human resources as well as scary levels of loyalty."

"This power is very sly. At the moment, there are no traces of them. They definitely have some links to the matter this time. This should be a one-time test activity, but we have countered it successfully. I think they will be quiet for a period of time. What my father and the others have to worry about is me. This time, since you have completed such a big thing, we should also plan well for the rewards later." Luo Er smiled. Her tiny canines showed, making her seem extra cute.

Wang Zheng nodded. "I intend to link Tita Star and Maklou together and build a super valuable mineral deposits trade route. This new trade route, if developed well, can cover two star domains. More than 10 planets along the route can benefit from it."

Luo Er and Ai Xiaolu looked at each other. "Looks like it is still Xiaolu who knows you best. Okay, I concede, I'll hand the follow-up matters to you guys."

Luo Er said. There was no beginning or end to her statement. Then she left, leaving the other two, Ai Xiaolu and Wang Zheng, behind.

"Xiaolu, what are you guys doing?"

Ai Xiaolu laughed. "I made a bet with Luo Er. I said that you definitely did not just settle the problem at Maklou and would definitely have a follow-up plan."

Of all the people, perhaps only Ai Xiaolu was closer to understanding Wang Zheng's heart.

"It's not that exaggerated, just that if there's a chance, I will not miss it."

"Mineral deposits trade route, this business is a bit large."

"Things are accomplished by people, don't you think we should try?"

Looking at Wang Zheng's smile, Ai Xiaolu shook her head helplessly, "You know, this type of attitude is terrifying to traditional wealthy families. You are definitely the biggest rebel of this world."

This, most likely only Ai Xiaolu could see it. Perhaps the Wang Zheng now looked too powerless to others, but he was only 20. He had started out with nothing. Until today, unknowingly, he already had gathered a group of followers. The scariest part was that everyone gathered not mainly for benefits, but for a type of inexplicable goal and pursuit. This was a type of desire from the heart; at least it was for Ai Xiaolu. Perhaps others would not discover, but she was very smart and very clear. However, she could not reject. She wanted to continue on this route. This road was full of obstacles and even risks, but she really wanted to continue on this path.

Perhaps Wang Zheng himself had yet to realize this point. Ai Xiaolu suppressed the urge to point everything out. Indeed, it was still too early, and sometimes overdoing was worse than falling short.

Wang Zheng shrugged. "This thing may be difficult. The main part is to look at the Milky Way Alliance's attitude. Even though Tita Star's side has already made their move, it ultimately still depends on the decision made on the Milky Way Alliance's side. And it is impossible that the Milky Way Alliance would deny approval for the trade route."

Ai Xiaolu laughed. "That is no problem at all. As long as we have enough funds, the Milky Way Alliance is easy to convince. The biggest danger has already been resolved. You don't need to submit to the Milky Way Alliance General Meeting for just a trade route, it just needs approval from the standing committee."

That being said, if Wang Zheng still did not understand, he would be a fool. "Should I thank Luo Er?"

"You should thank me," Ai Xiaolu said.

Wang Zheng laughed. "Do I need to?"

Ai Xiaolu laughed too. "No need."

It was this type of feeling that really confused Ai Xiaolu and caused her to fall even deeper. This person was really a bad person. She sighed in her heart. Ai Xiaolu decided not to be so emotional. It would only make her feel too childish.

"Wang Zheng, SIG is very important to our future development. Even if Saruman Snake cannot get the championship, it must at least get into the top four, and you must perform well. Your future mother-in-law will also be watching, so this is a good chance to show yourself off!"

Ai Xiaolu said. It made Wang Zheng stunned.

"Mother-in-law?"

"Prime Minister Kashawen, ah, the big competition is one of Prime Minister Kashawen's rare initiatives. Her Highness Aina's mother died when she was very young, and this aunt became equal to her mom," Ai Xiaolu said.

Kashawen…

Wang Zheng did not really care for the belittling from other people, because he only needed to believe in himself. People could not live for other people.

But Kashawen was indeed a special existence.

"I fight not for her."

This "her" held a lot of meaning.

Ai Xiaolu walked over and patted Wang Zheng's shoulder. As long as Wang Zheng's head was clear, she would be Wang Zheng's best assistant.

On one point, Wang Zheng was very clear. He did not mind "disappointing" Kashawen again and again, to become the big rebel that she did not want to see the most. Of course, this was only an additional sideshow for Wang Zheng's way forward!

Chapter 1055: You Have to be Direct With Girls

Building a new trade route was not something that could be decided by two stars. Wang Zheng had forgotten the key matter, which was the attitude of the Milky Way Alliance. If the Milky Way Alliance did not approve, then everything else was just no use. Luckily, there was help from Luo Er and Ai Xiaolu. Then there should not be any problem. Wang Zheng also needed to focus on his preparations for SIG, which was at Aslan's door. He could lose everywhere, but not at Aslan.

While the intelligence was not very comprehensive, Wang Zheng had seen the world and knew that there were many powerful people in this world. Some might even be totally unknown. Talking about that, before he took part in the Greatest King Competition, he was also of that sort. It was just that he had become famous through a competition. There must be more than one with the same experiences as him, or even some people who were very famous and he just did not know of them.

Aslan and Arbiter, the two big empires, and it was not only them. Countries like Manalasuo were the same. Saruman Snake really had to prepare well. At this moment, everyone represented not only themselves.

At the moment, based on the Saruman Snake's formation, they really had a huge weakness, and it was the sniper position. If their mid-field members were aplenty, and their heavy mech was passable, then their scout and sniper were weaknesses. If it was a high intensity battle, then there would be a high possibility of injuries. Every position really needed a strong reserve.

They had to solve this problem.

Marzu and the others were also back. Dendi and Pampas were about to graduate. While they did not complete their missions, based on both of their abilities and excellent performance, they would have new beginnings in the military.

Marzu wanted to graduate after taking part in this time's SIG with Olivios. This big brother still worried about his younger brother having to fight alone. In reality, the stress for this round of SIG was indeed huge, coming not only from internal, but also external sources. While Arbiter was sending out two teams, this team from Elite Academy was also a pure Arbiter battle team. The people from Arbiter thought that they were an embarrassment.

To outsiders, Saruman Snake was a grand success legend. But to the Arbiter Empire, this was the uselessness of Marzu and Olivios. It was impossible to not have stress but, Arbiter was a country that simply looked at results and not the process. Two Earth-rank warriors? Yet they had lost. This only made their uselessness more obvious.

The Asura battle team also needed to strengthen themselves. At least Marzu also needed to use more of his brains on battle tactics. If it was considered training at Elite Academy X, then at the international stage, mistakes could not be made. Whoever treated the international stage as child's play would be risking their futures.

Dendi and Pampas were light-hearted without missions. When there was no more competitive relationship, the two of them seemed more enthusiastic.

"Wang Zheng, you are being friendly for no reason. This makes the two of us uneasy." Pampas laughed.

"Senior, what are you saying? I learnt much from you guys during this period of time. You guys are graduating, isn't it only reasonable I treat you to a meal?" Wang Zheng laughed.

"Tsk tsk, Pampas, I also feel that things are not looking good. Our strongest king wants to praise us to death. How about the two of us just not eat?"

Dendi also teased.

"Please don't, please don't, it's just the academy canteen, I'm also not bribing. Wait till you guys become generals, then I'll bribe you," Wang Zheng quickly said.

"Haha, we don't even know who will become general first. Just say it, you rascal. I'm sure you have some favour to ask. If we can help, we will definitely not just be onlookers," Pampas said.

"That's true, everyone knows that our two seniors are very righteous and have a sense of justice. Let me toast the two of you. Fulfil your ambitions at the military, be our role models," Wang Zheng said.

Pampas and Dendi were also hearty. Actually thinking that they were finally leaving the academy, the two of them had much emotions in their hearts. On one hand was the feeling they had for the academy, and on the other was the unknown battlefield waiting for them. The situations needing the use of martial abilities were decreasing, and it was possible they had to face more social problems. To be able to live freely according to their emotions was practically an illusion. While calm, actually the two of them were not confident. However, only Wang Zheng believed that the two of them could very quickly adapt.

The food in the academy canteen was quite good. The three of them were also very relaxed. "Just say it, are you thinking of borrowing people from us?" Pampas laughed.

Wang Zheng gave him thumbs up. "My senior is smart, mighty, and can predict the future!"

"En, not bad. To be praised by the strongest king is indeed a good feeling. This treatment is also one and only, Haha."

"The SIG this time is also made to win praise for our Elite Academy. Our two battle teams are not formally in the competition, so as long as the people you want are willing, we have no problems on our side. You can consider this as our little contribution."

Dendi said.

Actually, both of them also knew that based on the current formation of Saruman Snake, if they entered the SIG, they would most likely be disabled just halfway through. They could only rely on Wang Zheng alone. Perhaps they wanted to have a one versus five for every battle?

"Vincent and Ao Ziwei. With those two, I'll have more confidence in my two positions," Wang Zheng said.

"Hehe, they are also old friends of yours. There shouldn't be much problems. But Wang Zheng, don't blame me for saying too much – your sniper position is very problematic. Our Elite Academy only has just these few teams, and they all are very familiar with each other's situation. At the SIG competition ground, if the formation is not complete. It is very easy to be targeted, especially when you guys are now the target of everyone."

Pampas said sincerely, "I'm older than you, but please don't think that I'm being long-winded."

Wang Zheng was also depressed. "I'm also thinking about that, but isn't this a smart woman lacking rice to cook? Asking for a familiar and cooperative sniper for the team is too difficult."

"Why don't you look for Snow Li?" Dendi asked.

"I did, but Rennes directly rejected me. There wasn't even a chance to meet." Wang Zheng smiled bitterly.

Dendi and Pampas looked at each other in dismay. Then they indeed had no other way. If people were willing to join him, then that was ties of friendship. If they were unwilling, then they could not do anything too.

If Snow Li joined the battle team, then she could not just leave as she wished, so this thing had to be agreed on Rennes's side. But Rennes did not like Wang Zheng.

Rennes was speechless as Ai Xiaolu had also came to talk about this. What the f**k, what did they have to get him to help?

"Xiaolu, ah, I'll not stop you if you want to help Saruman Snake, but our Icefire battle team is not Saruman Snake's reserve battle team. This is also the face of our Hail Cloud Alliance; hence, you should stop trying to persuade me. This is it, I still need to train and will hang up now."

After saying that, Rennes switched off his Skylink. The results of the Icefire battle team did not pass. He was now having a headache thinking about how to tighten his management in this period of time. They had to train bitterly in order to reach greater heights. Wang Zheng, that rascal, actually still coveted for his sniper. Was this not a dream?

Besides, with such an attractive team member, why should he give her to Saruman Snake?

Some people naturally worked well with each other, and some people could not see eye to eye from the first meeting. He and Wang Zheng were the latter.

Anyway, as long as he did not agree, then they had no way. This was the academy's rule. What was Wang Zheng? If he had the ability, come and bite him.

Ai Xiaolu had no other way. Some matters could not be resolved with tricks. Pampas and Dendi also had no other way. They did not have any relations with Rennes.

Not everyone liked to see others doing well. Rennes' greatest hope was to trade his current situation for Wang Zheng's. In his heart, he hoped for Saruman Snake to return in low spirits following their defeat at SIG.

Wang Zheng was already very satisfied to be able to get Vincent and Ao Ziwei. The team finally had strong reserves. Wang Zheng knew these two people very well. They could very quickly integrate into the team. Ao Ziwei, he knew her since IG. Her ability was very special. Her style was not showy and she could integrate into the team. Her basics were strong, a typical representative of Gemini Star.

Wang Zheng also had to do some hard work to perform well in SIG. There was no good ending to belittle the heroes of the world.

Just as Pampas and Dendi had worried about, the sniper position was a headache. Even if Snow Li came, it would still not be enough. At least two snipers of that level were required for that position to be stable.

If SIG was the upgraded version of IG, then it was definitely not as simple as a competition, and the organisers would definitely think of ways to torture them.

Wang Zheng himself was not afraid. An Earth-rank Ability X was definitely a top-grade at this level. If there really was an appearance of some Heaven-rank warrior, then everyone could pack up and return home.

Besides, raising Ability X needed enlightenment, and this was really not something that could be achieved by hard work, except Wang Zheng needed to achieve a breakthrough on his Primordial Regression Technique. Based on Charcoal's opinion, when the Primordial Regression Technique entered the third stage, it could match up to his current Ability X. Human bodies very easily entered the stage where the spiritual powers were larger than the body's energy source. The older a person was, the more so. It was alright to have a difference of one or two levels, but too large a difference in levels was not good for human bodies. And to super warriors, the best situation was definitely a match in levels, or even to say that bodies were stronger than the strength of their spiritualities. However, this obviously did not match the characteristics of living things, unless there was some bioengineering.

On this aspect, Butcher was the expert. He had researched deeply into the depths and the Zerg's bioengineering and rune techniques. But he had never suggested to Wang Zheng any sort of transformation. This type of human transformation could achieve some effect in the short period but would ultimately destroy spirituality. This was only a last resort.

Professor Butcher was very happy. Qi Bin and Kulifa had already been transferred to special departments to be handled. Butcher naturally would be there personally. Wang Zheng did not know about the follow-up affairs and only knew that the technique was very important and very valuable. It could solve some of the hereditary problems of humans. While humans were very cautious of bioengineering, technology was improving, and they could not stop in their steps. No matter if they used it or not, they needed to master it.

"Xiaolu, ah, how was your talk with Rennes?" After leaving, Wang Zheng dialed Ai Xiaolu's Skylink.

"Of course I was rejected," Ai Xiaolu said.

"Then what do we do? If you don't have a good recommendation for the sniper, then this formation is a little problematic."

Wang Zheng had a headache. There was no one else from the Solar System. This was a very obvious lack. The other federations had talents from all aspects and hoped that the Solar System would perform better at the SIG this time. This way, they would have greater chance to enter the Elite Academy.

"Wang Zheng, sometimes you are quite smart, but sometimes you are really dumb," Ai Xiaolu said resentfully as Wang Zheng was unable to realize sooner.

Wang Zheng was stunned. "What did I do?"

Ai Xiaolu shook her head helplessly. "If you want Snow Li to come back, why don't you look for her directly? For this kind of thing, you should directly look for the person involved!"

Chapter 1056: They Are All Old Devils!

Wang Zheng was momentarily stunned. It seemed like that was the problem. Perhaps subconsciously, he did not want to make things difficult for Snow Li, or maybe he was afraid to leave something behind.

"Snow was originally a member of Saruman Snake. Initially, she went over to help because the Icefire battle team had difficulties. Now that there is no formal competition, she ought to come back. You are making an unnecessary move and also a long-winded one."

Ai Xiaolu criticized Wang Zheng fiercely, because at this moment, she had the same feelings as Snow Li. Sometimes, people would be obsessed with one person. There were plenty of other fish in the sea, so why love a single flower!

"Yes, Xiaolu, you really have a different perspective. Alright, I'll go find Snow now."

All along, when Wang Zheng thought of what to do, he would do it immediately. He dialed Snow Li's Skylink right away. Snow Li was training at this moment. Although her Skylink rang, it still did not affect her at all. Lasers fired out continuously. Actually, when she was not in the Saruman Snake battle team, she was less stressed. She could be calmer and train and learn better. As snipers, it was not enough just to hit accurately. During this period of time, she had gained a lot and she became more focused.

Wang Zheng did not get through for a long time… Could it be that Snow Li was angry?

Wang Zheng scratched his head. Girls were complicated.

Just then, his Skylink rang. Snow Li had dialed back. "Wang Zheng, I was training just now, what's the matter?"

"The Saruman Snake battle team needs you. Can you come back?" Wang Zheng asked tentatively. He did not feel confident in his chances of success.

In the Skylink, Snow Li smiled brightly. "OK."

Classmate Wang was also stunned. Sometimes, there would be unexpected gains using the most direct way.

In the whole incident, the most important thing was his attitude. It would be best if Wang Zheng could solve the problem. This way, it would save the trouble for the people involved. But if you met someone like Rennes who took a chicken feather as a warrant to issue orders, then it would be another matter.

After all, the willingness of the team members was more important. Not to mention that this was not a departure with ill intentions. She was originally from Saruman Snake, and now it was for SIG, the big goal. If Rennes really wanted to stop them, or even used some nonsensical reason, he would not need to stay in Elite Academy X anymore. Where would there be people who disliked their schoolmates so much?

Ai Xiaolu had already seen through this point. She only deliberately hinted to Wang Zheng. This guy always looked at women as men, but he did not know that what women cared about was his attitude, and it had nothing to do with other things.

What a fool!

At this time, the fool Classmate Wang Zheng finally heaved a sigh of relief. The formation looked presentable now. They only needed to strengthen their teamwork, and then the problem would be much smaller. If it was really impossible, as the team leader, he was not a man to be trifled with!

Far away on Mars, the Sage Sect's bell sounded.

Distinguished guests arrived and the Saint Mountain opened up. A grand-looking motorcade stopped at the gates. A very thin old man stood out.

The bell rang nine times before it stopped, representing the visitor's respectable identity.

The corners of the old man's mouth curled up slightly into a smile. Although he was very old, you could still see that he was definitely very handsome in the past, and now he was also a good-looking old man.

In front of the gates, nine disciples of the Sage Sect dressed in red robes came down from the hill in a single file and lined up on both sides. The eldest disciple went forward and greeted with his palms together, "Respecting the Sage's orders, we are here to invite our distinguished guest up the mountain."

The old man nodded slightly. Behind him, more than a dozen bodyguards were about to move, but with one look, they retreated. He refused the Maglev vehicle provided by the Sage Sect and walked up the stairs step by step.

Several disciples of the Sage Sect did not look good, but they dared not say anything, so they could only follow behind and guard carefully.

Halfway through the journey, they saw the Sage standing on the mountainside.

The nine disciples looked even more uncomfortable. According to the rules, they should have taken the distinguished guest to the meeting hall to see Master Sage.

"You may leave now."

Odin waved to his disciples.

For some time, the two elders stood at the top and bottom of the stairs looking at each other. The wind was blowing. The leaves and also the corners of their clothes waved.

"It has been so many years and the Sage's traditions remain old and strong."

"The head of the Heavenly King family is also quite the remarkable one."

Ha ha ha…

They forced a few laughs. Suddenly, the mountain wind stopped. The chirping of birds and cries of insects stopped instantaneously too, as if time and space were frozen.

Up and down, two bursts of terrifying auras clashed lightly. and then quickly withdrew.

The wind started blowing again, but the birds and insects flew away in terror.

"Old thing, I let you ride in the car. You just had to climb up the steps. Do you have the intention to join my Sage Sect?"

"Old swindler, your words are still so poisonous; are you not afraid that they will shorten your life?"

If the people from the Sage Sect and the Doyle family saw what they were like now, they would surely be stunned and bewildered.

Was this person who was making a joke really Odin?

Was this person with an old face full of arrogance really the family head of the Doyle family?

Of course, it was just for that moment. The past was gone, they were not young anymore, and their grievances were also gone with the breeze and river flow.

Inside the pavilion on the mountainside, tea was already prepared. The two elders sat and tasted the tea silently.

The water was from the Zhong Ru spring at the top of the Sage Mountain. The tea was the newly picked Martian Rock tea.

Three cups of tea, reminiscing old times.

In the end, the family head of the Doyle family spoke first.

"It's rare for you to come down to greet me, so I'll just go straight to the point. After all these years, those people finally cannot stand loneliness and want to make some moves. I'm not going to meddle in this muddy water anymore."

Old Doyle did not waste time and directly pointed out his intentions. The dark ways of the underworld were not suitable for the Doyle family's strategy. It was even more unsuitable for Achilles's character and development. This was their nature. People who walked different paths could not make plans together.

And the attitude of the Sage Sect was also very firm. Even hundreds of years ago, when those people ruled the human beings, when they were the strongest, the Sage Sect still maintained their independence, let alone now.

It was once the brightest light, now it became the shadows of the underworld. The Sage Sect could not tolerate this shadow. Based on the character of the Lie family, they could not stand this kind of constraint either.

In this situation, the Sage Sect and the Heavenly King family that were originally on different paths had the basis to reach a consensus now. They did not want to see the Solar System invaded by those people. Under the control of those people, the reviving Solar System would only become a tool to fight against the Milky Way Alliance, or even a sacrifice. No matter Mars or the Moon, they did not want to see this situation. These were their homes!

The conversation between the two became more and more intense, involving the core interests of both sides. Even if they reached a consensus, they could not cooperate completely. And only the two of them had that influence to discuss on behalf of the two powers. Both held high positions for very long and had extraordinary abilities. When they were not willing to give in, the energy that burst out made the surroundings of the pavilion a forbidden area. Not to mention the small animals on the ground, even the insects and ants under the ground were fleeing in a hurry.

Towards evening, they finally reached a consensus on the core interests. They stood up and saw a huge, red sun setting down towards the horizon, as if it was a sign.

Old Doyle's gaze was fixed. The sun set, the darkness was coming; the era that belonged to them would also fall.

Nevertheless, it was gratifying to note that their successors were better than they were at that time. To be honest, even if there was a basis to reach a consensus, one of the important reasons for the Doyle family and the Sage Sect to reach an agreement in just a short afternoon was that Achilles and Lie Xin were on the same front. They would be the suns of the new era, and they, the older generation, would be the gentle winds that rose with the sun.

It was only at their experience and age that it became clearer that youth was both strength and the future.

"Old swindler, you really don't see anything? I heard you rang twelve bells for that little devil."

Old Doyle looked back and stared at Odin. Even if it was him, it was only nine times, which was already extremely respectable. At that time, Wang Zheng was nothing; IG did not even look at him, let alone the behind-the-scenes support provided by Ye Bingwen, the KO Group, and Titatitan Star. Yet Odin had reacted at that time, a full twelve bells, and no one could bear twelve bells!

The reason he called him "old swindler" was because when they were young, they were competitors like frenemies. Old Doyle actually did not believe in Odin's identity as a Sage. It would be boasting to say that you could see through everything, but it was possible that he could see segments of the future. The reason why the Sage Sect could be passed down to this day, and why Mars was always powerful. was because on many important matters, the Sage Sect always had the feeling that they could foretell things and walk in front of others.

"Fate between people comes and goes; it flows like water, and never returns. In the end, only memories are left. "

With a sigh, Odin looked at the last glimmer on the horizon and uttered the prophecy he had left behind for Wang Zheng.

There was a flash in Old Doyle's eyes. As a younger generation, Wang Zheng could not understand the words he said, but he understood it. He murmured, "Maybe you can give Ye Bingwen a push. It's not harmful to push him forward a bit, and it would make the job easier for the little guys."

"My Sage Sect is an outsider who has long vowed to remain neutral and will not to participate in the affairs of the Solar System," Odin said solemnly.

Old Doyle's mouth twitched. Od fox!

So old and still so shameless!

That was the good point for the swindler. He could always find some high-sounding reasons to act shamelessly.

The former Saint Church, the current Saint Sect, wanted to make a comeback and control the powers in daylight. Yet the Milky Way Alliance was verbose and inefficient, so much so that they were permeated so comprehensively that they could keep no secrets.

Mars… Even the entire Solar System that wanted to rise again in this era was like a small fish trying to free itself from sharks.

Fate was temptation, and temptation was bait. A story of a tiger eating humans spread widely on Mars. In the wilderness, there was once a mutant tiger which loved to eat people. No blade and spear could pierce through it. Warriors often gathered to slaughter the tiger as proof of their bravery. Every team would bring a fat man with them because everyone knew that the tiger would only eat one person at a time. As long as they ran faster than the fat man, and did not look as delicious as the fat man, they could survive.

Whether it was the Sage Sect or the Heavenly King family, how deep was their bases after managing it for nearly a thousand years. Perhaps only these two leaders knew clearly.

However, good steel must be used wisely as some things would be gone after one use. It was not wise to have a head-on clash with the Saint Sect, who was making a comeback. It was better to let someone take the lead, test the waters, and find out the determination and reaction of those people before making a decision.

Emotions were emotions; the overall situation was the most important. They had always distinguished these two clearly, only youngsters would lump them together.

This was called remaining invincible.

Chapter 1057: Old Acquaintances

What Wang Zheng thought was simple was actually not so. Even Ryan was not absolutely sure about it.

Ten representatives of the permanent member states of the Milky Way Alliance, including President Ryan, would make a decision on all the Milky Way Alliance's affairs during the Milky Way Alliance General Council Meeting.

Every motion would cause a heated discussion. Behind the change of every clause's intentions was a struggle between politics and resources.

There were huge economic interests behind the establishment of the super rare mineral deposits trade route from Tita Star to Maklou. It also meant the political expansion of territories. Tita's right to speak in the Milky Way Alliance would certainly increase. Not only that, Maklou and Titatitan Star, as well as more than a dozen planets on the route, would also naturally become an alliance front, which was not a good thing for the big countries.

If it was just a simple trading of mineral deposits, there would be no need to be nervous. It would still be them who would benefit from the transportation according to the existing scheduled trade routes, when they were the middlemen.

But this time, the discussion was very intense.

Representatives of Aslan and Arbiter strongly opposed it. The new mineral deposits trade route affected the original order of rare mineral deposits. The change of interests would impact the Milky Way Alliance's stability.

However, Ryan's reasons were very sufficient. It was no other than for stability that he had to approve the application of Titatitan Star and Maklou to the Milky Way Alliance for this trade route.

The war on Titatitan Star had just ended. The war reparations and economic assistance were only on the surface. The psychological scars in people's hearts needed further healing. They must let the people feel that they were taken seriously by the Milky Way Alliance.

The situation in Maklou was also grim. Although the Easter Plan failed, it was not a complete failure. The insecurities in people's hearts could not be suppressed by force. If they could use force, the Milky Way Alliance would have already made a move.

To permeate Maklou using benefits, developing and strengthening pro-Milky Way Alliance forces, and subtly influencing Maklou to deviate from the dark side. If the Milky Way Alliance did all this on their own, it would surely cause displeasure and people would be on guard against them. However, if the Titatitan citizens took over, it would be totally different.

That was to say, some of the interests given up on the Titatitan Star's side could be supplemented from Maklou's side. As for the redistribution of interests after the formation of the new order, it would then depend on the capabilities of the various countries.

The results of the final voting came out. The Titatitan-Maklou super rare mineral deposits trade route plan was passed by a narrow margin of one vote.

The gamble this time showed that other countries were unwilling to see the domination of Aslan and Arbiter, so much so that they became like the Milky Way Alliance Police. As long as there was a chance, and as long as Ryan expressed his attitude, to some extent they were willing to give their support. This incident this time was a typical one, and Ryan also sounded out and learned about the bottom line of both sides.

At the same time, on the Titatitan Star, Yan Xiaosu was in a meeting.

The development of Titatitan was slowing down and the dividend effect from the Milky Way Alliance was beginning to fade. This was obviously not very beneficial for the Titan Chamber of Commerce, which had just taken a big step forward.

"I predict that this stabilization period will last for a long time, and the dividends of war reparations are not as much as expected. If the Chamber of Commerce wants to go further, we must find a new interest breakthrough. I have a proposal, the Galaxy Trade Fair is a good opportunity." Laurel was doing data analysis. Business was like this. Ideals were bountiful, reality was sparse. Tita Star's comprehensive tourism health opportunities were far less attractive than the mineral deposits, and the Tita citizens would absolutely allow the overdraft of mineral deposits in exchange for prosperity, which was against the nature of capital.

"Tell us about it." Yan Xiaosu nodded his head with interest.

In fact, the Titan Chamber of Commerce had been very successful now, but Yan Xiaosu knew clearly that being content with the current situation would be retrogression. Other members of the Chamber of Commerce could be satisfied with stabilizing the things they already had, but the core members of the Chamber of Commerce must find new points of interest so that the Titan Chamber of Commerce could continue to make great strides forward.

"The Galaxy Business Federation Trade Fair, known as the Galaxy Trade Fair for short, has a relatively low entry requirement and many opportunities. This year, we can go and try, but in terms of projects…"

Laurel paused when she mentioned this. She looked at Yan Xiaosu and said, "This must be decided by the President himself."

Yan Xiaosu knew that in today's stage of development of the Chamber of Commerce, many people began to hope to have access to the gravitational mines. Even if not directly, indirectly was also fine. It was not that he did not want to, but after the war, when Titatitan Star got the dividend, the supervision of the mineral deposits was also tightened.

Various countries were eyeing the mining shares of the gravitational mines. Who would dare to overstep it at this time?

"I think tourism development projects are good. Giants and the original ecological environment are still very popular." Yan Xiaosu did not say it directly, but everyone knew what he actually meant. When it was still not the time to take part in the mining projects, even if it were Laurel or Jasper, they had not reached the stage where they could share the mining business. Of course, Yan Xiaosu's focus was to develop the tourism project first, then talk about other things. They could try out this time's Galaxy Trade Fair.

Soon, everyone decided on the plans to go to the Galaxy Trade Fair. Yan Xiaosu would personally lead the team, along with Jasper, Laurel, and Gabre.

The Galaxy Trade Fair was held every year. This time, it would be held in the capital of the Republic of Clark.

They arrived at the Republic of Clark. As soon as they got off the spaceship, they felt the enthusiasm of the Clark citizens at the airport.

Zhao Elin smiled teasingly. "The girls here have good figures!"

"Is it good? I didn't notice. Don't look at handsome guys. " Yan Xiaosu would not fall into her trap easily. He had a look of infatuation and eternal love.

"Act." Even though she knew that Yan Xiaosu was playing around, Zhao Elin was still very happy.

"Men, they are all like this. Elin, let's pretend that we didn't see anything to keep our eyes clean. When we finish our business, we can go shopping. I heard Clark's jewelry is very special…."

Laurel smiled. She seemed quite bearing towards Jasper.

Gabre's face was full of envy. "Jasper, you're good!"

Jasper smiled calmly on the surface, but he knew in his heart that at night… most probably, he would be drained by Laurel and would be unable to get out of bed.

However, they did not have the time to experience whether or not the personality of girls from Clark was as passionate. They checked into their hotel. Just right there was an informal exchange. Now there were two days before the Galaxy Trade Fair began formally. Everyone would meet in advance in such exchanges, get some information, and reach the consensus of cooperation.

After getting the invitation letter, they entered the venue in a group. Soon, they saw two acquaintances. It was hard not to see them, as these two people were too prominent; their voices were the loudest too.

Two betrayers of the Tita Investment Company.

Pila and Mitchell.

Everyone stopped in their tracks.

Obviously, Pila and Mitchell were stunned too, and then Pila opened his mouth. "Yo! Aren't you Brother Yan? Long time no see, hehe. Jasper, you are still hugging Tyrant… Su's thighs?

Yan Xiaosu frowned. It was because he became more stable after marriage. If it was in the past, he would teach the other party how to be human already.

Of course, Jasper could not bear it. He stared at Pila with total contempt and said, "Pila, be careful of what you say. Why, are you looking for a beating?"

"Heh, what's wrong with this world? I greeted you with kindness but was treated as disrespectful. Tsk tsk, you guys come to present projects too? Jasper, I'm not saying, but other than mineral deposits, what else does your Titatitan Star have? Stop going everywhere to deceive people."

Laurel quickly grabbed Jasper, who almost threw out a punch. "Calm down, a dog baring its teeth won't bite."

His gaze turned to a place not far away. This place was not their home court, and the ways of a playboy would only be embarrassing in such a place.

Over there, a few Aslan people were looking over to their side. From their point of view, it was like a few acquaintances talking about the old days.

The Aslan person standing in front was the heir of the Galaxy Magic Group, Aegentos.

Apparently, Pila was hugging thighs again.

Pila sneered. "Laurel, as a host, I won't fall to your level. Gabre, fat legs don't necessarily mean thighs. Some things are destined by nature. You must look at your road clearly."

Gabre smiled, "God is watching when people do things. Pila, it doesn't matter if we can't be friends, but it doesn't have to be like that."

Mitchell's expression was cold. During that time, he withdrew his capital and left. After that, although no one attacked nor took revenge against him, he could no longer stay in Titatitan. His family evaluated him as one with "lack of vision," so his life became difficult.

But that was the way of playboys. Jumping out of one circle, there would always be another waiting. After getting on another big boat, it would start rocking very quickly. Although Tita Star was a pity, it was not a big surprise. It was also weird. They could bow and kneel in front of others, but they just could not stand to see Jasper and Gabre living well.

"Hmph, who knows how you cheated us during that time. Mitchell, let's go. Don't waste our time with them," Pila said. Based on his personality, it was not surprising that he would push the blame.

Looking at Pila and Mitchell join the Aslan circle, Laurel shook her head. "Everybody, be careful. Pila is a very vengeful person. And we are at the Republic of Clark. We are all adults. This time we are here to make money. There's no need to argue with him."

Although not very pleasant, but as Laurel said, the three needed to calm down, otherwise if they create a big commotion in other people's country, there would not be good consequences. And this time they really came because of the needs of the Tita project, and to develop tourism projects. Normal standards could not meet their needs, and the pre-project funds required for super big projects were frightening. If you did not do it, you would not know.

In fact, the Galaxy Trade Fair this time was an anticipation for a major project in the industry, to prepare for the quadrennial conference, and also pave a platform for the second generation of major enterprises and some small and medium-sized enterprises. Compared with the official conference, which limited the status level, such events like the Galaxy Trade Fair had more opportunities. After all, there were more young people. At least they could reach quite a number of consensus and get to know more people.

On the other side, Pila and Mitchell were currying favor with Aslan's thighs.

"What did those people do just now?"

"We knew them. Now they are running projects for the Titatitan Star. That bunch of fraudsters' capital chain is broken and they were going around fooling people to join them. Mitchell and I were lucky to escape quickly. What else is there at Tita Star, that ghost place, besides the mines? They have it good. They won't even give out a bit of the mine, but they are developing some kind of eco, health tourism. They lost a lot of money, and earned no profit at all." Pila spoke half of the truth.

Indeed, Aegentos frowned. "Pass down the order and don't let anyone be deceived!"

"Hehe, please rest assured. On Clark's territory, this kind of person who wants to fool people won't get anything." Pila laughed happily. With Aegentos, he could make others lives difficult if he wanted. It was absolutely a dream to think of coming here to get financing.

Chapter 1058: Fatty, Exposed

Yan Xiaosu's side was not going well, whereas Wang Zheng's side was reaping all the benefits. Rennes had to let his people go now. He was not a fool – no one could go against their own school like that. He could only watch the babe leave his side. Ai Xiaolu had not come to the Icefire battle team recently either. In this time, she was fully supporting the Saruman Snake battle team's preparations.

As for the school, they had given the green light to the four battle teams. Jiang Feng was personally in charge, and he assembled all the members from the four battle teams.

Some students thought that all the strongest members should be consolidated in one group. Wouldn't that be stronger? But although that might achieve results, it would only throw the battle teams into disarray. Simply assembling the strongest was not the image that the school wanted to convey. Other colleges may do so, but Elite Academy X could not.

On the whole, Jiang Feng was still confident. Each of the four battle teams had their own specialties, and each had an excellent leader. Their synergy on the whole had matured. As long as they performed at their usual level, they would achieve good results.

Di Maria was in fine form, looking as if he had completely shrugged off the shadow of defeat. More accurately, SIG was a chance for him to turn the tables. Whoever could do well in SIG could wipe away the slate of the past. This was the unforgiving nature of battle. People would forever remember only the latest results.

"The school has decided that I will lead the battle team. The importance of this SIG to Elite Academy X goes without saying, and the same for all of you as well. I hope that everyone can display their ability, and not be affected by external factors," Jiang Feng said.

He was, after all, someone who had seen the world. This SIG was largely about responsibility, and he did not feel the pressure at all.

"Mentor, please put your mind at ease. Our Imperial Glory battle team has already done our preparations. Although it's our home ground, we will do our best to bring glory to the school!" Di Maria said with conviction.

The others rolled their eyes. Only he could pull off such bootlicking words with dignity.

Jiang Feng smiled. "At Aslan, you will be the host, Di Maria."

"Rest assured, Teacher. I will provide the best service, even better than the home battle team!"

Di Maria smiled. This was not just an empty brag. Di Maria was no fool. To him, winning was much better than losing. The Aslan people might not be happy if others won, but his win would be the same as Aslan winning. Besides, this was his time to shine. He could not afford to skimp on his preparation, but must instead provide the best possible support. Aslan people were different from others because their gaze was always cast far into the future, and they did not quarrel about the petty present.

"Keke, Student Di Maria, we won't ask for additional intelligence. All we ask is that you don't leak ours," Sweeney said unfeelingly. The Arbiters did not look on the Aslan people with favor.

"Student Sweeney jests. If Arbiters won't do such a thing, then Aslan people are even more against it. Besides, I feel like we are not the stars of the show here. The Atlanteans and Mayans have sent forth strong battle teams as well. Those present, please forgive my words. What I mean is that Atlantis and Maya are definitely also superpowers in the Alliance, and in no way less than us. Compared to us, always strutting under the spotlight, your countries represent even more power."

Di Maria's skillful words were smooth. Heracles and the two Mayans showed small smiles of pride.

It was said that Aslan people were proud, but the proudest were the Atlanteans and Mayans. In terms of their origins, they were earlier civilizations, and had progressed even further. It was merely their reproductive capabilities that were slightly inferior.

It felt like the third generation civilizations' greatest advantage was that they maintained extensive reproductive power, comparable to the Zergs.

"I am merely a member of Elite Academy X. Naturally, I want to win glory for the school. As far as I know, Her Highness is sending forth the elite of the Temple Guard. They are truly formidable." Heracles would do well not to brag too much about his own country, but he still looked full of confidence.

"Do they have limits?" Jiang Feng suddenly asked.

Heracles smiled slightly, throwing a sidelong glance at Wang Zheng. "From the start, we no longer suppressed our ability in some battles. Put simply, we could already convene with the power of the universe, but we realized through this process that such power created a burden on our bodies and reduced our lifespan. But now, this problem has been largely mitigated."

Atlanteans' bodies were frail, more suited to mental than physical exertion. If their endurance could only hold out, their fighting ability was frightening. One Heracles alone had created all sorts of complications. Against five, it would be a disaster.

They mulled over that for a while, and Jiang Feng was silent as well. He had his doubts about Heracles' explanation. It seemed too much of a coincidence that they had resolved it recently.

But it was true that the Atlanteans and Mayans had been different lately. They had been low-profile before, but were starting to throw their strength around in recent years.

Subaru's sparkling face creased in a smile. "Maya's battle team is not finalized. But the national goal has already been set, which is to take first place in SIG."

The two sparkling Mayans were calm, taking this as nothing unusual.

Wang Zheng and the rest looked around. Damn, these aliens were really something else.

Jiang Feng felt like the atmosphere was a little strange. He clapped his hands. "As fighters, you should all celebrate. Such a stage is one that the mighty long for. Honestly, I did not have such opportunities when I was your age. At that time, Elite Academy X was nobody, and there was no way to get your name out. That is why you should all grasp this opportunity and prove yourselves. To have such an opportunity in your youth is good. Regardless of the result, I hope that you have no regrets in the future!"

To stand at the pinnacle of Aslan, the pinnacle of the world?

This battle was the real Greatest King competition. Youngsters were often shaken by such emotive phrases. Of course, this was not a bad thing. If youngsters were not passionate, then the human race would have long become extinct.

"In terms of tactics, I won't interfere too much. You all have your own approaches and ways of thinking. The school has given you ebenefits, You can form reserve battle teams at will. As your mentor and leader, I am honored. I have not given you much help thus far. This way, right before we head to Aslan, I will help to refine your main force before we go. The first batch of five, stay back after I call your names," Jiang Feng said. "Wang Zheng, Di Maria, Olivios, Lear…"

Jiang Feng's gaze lingered over the crowd, and came to rest on a fatty who was looking anywhere but at him. "And Luo Fei."

They stared at the fatty. For real???

Fatty was stunned as well. D*mn, why did this concern him?

As the rest began to disperse, the five lingered. Jiang Feng smiled. "Matured, just like Marzu. There's nothing much I can mentor you about. The qualities of the five of you are obvious. I'll have a 1v1 with each of you, and tidy up your battle habits."

Jiang Feng was famous for being super strong at Elite Academy X, one of the top Earth-rank warriors. Although he looked friendly most of the time while on duty at Elite Academy X, everyone wanted to know his true strength.

Lear looked coldly over at Fatty. Fatty felt like his back was wet with sweat. This Jiang Feng was really a busybody. Why did he have to call him when there were so many other choices? Fatty was clearest of Lear's character. It was no usual suspicion.

The rest had not thought as much of it. Jiang Feng looked at their eager gazes. It was really a virtuous cycle, but they needed this bunch of pioneers to pave ground to the fullest.

"Do you want to watch together, or do you want some privacy?"

Such matches were mentored fights. This meant that Jiang Feng had some idea of how to stimulate their potential. Having witnesses might not be the most appropriate fit, which was why their opinions had to be sought.

"Professor, I think that a private one on one is better. We can focus more that way, and won't need to think of anything else. We can achieve the best results that way," Lear said.

The rest nodded, and Jiang Feng was fine with it. "Alright. Then Di Maria and Luo Fei today."

Fatty's mood soured. Why him again?

"Keke, Professor Jiang Feng, need you take so much trouble for someone of my level?" Luo Fei said.

Jiang Feng looked at Luo Fei with what could have been a smile. "Aren't you part of the Dynasty battle team? Don't you want to prove yourself?"

"No, no, of course. I just don't want to be a nuisance to the other students."

"Keke, this is no time to be humble. You have potential. If you can just lighten your stomach, that would be great," Jiang Feng said. "Being too lazy won't do. Any potential would be wasted like that."

At this point, Lear was relaxed. He had thought that punk Luo Fei had sneakily pulled something again. He had tried his best to cure his sloth, but to no avail. Perhaps Jiang Feng could find a way.

Chapter 1059: Oh, An Actual Competitor

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

KO Tita Business Organization was panicky these days. The last two days had been tough going. They had spoken with many investors, but the result was unsurprising. Oh, so sorry, they were not too interested in the Titatitan side, but did they want to talk about cooperating under the new economic model of Lya Sphinx? "Pila, that dog, he'll be the death of me." Jasper had not worked himself into such a rage in a long time. A quick check readily revealed who was playing tricks behind his back. Pila had not intended to conceal it too deeply either. This was his territory, and he had Aegentos backing him up. Pila's rumors were flying thick and fast. Titatitan was a slump. Why else would the financial chain be broken? Do you believe that nothing is going on behind the scenes? Investing with them was like throwing your money into the ocean. At least in the latter, you would be rewarded with a plop sound. Minerals? Could they be extracted? It's just another of their hooks to lure you in. By the time you responded, it would be too late.

Don't believe him? Then see what kind of cooperation they would offer! Why did he speak so much? That was because he was their earliest victim!

Rumors were things that got exaggerated as they went along. By the time they reached the ears of Yan Xiaosu and the rest, it was already blown out of proportion.

Jasper was gnashing his teeth in anger. A tiger left alive would come back to bite. If he had known, he should have strangled Pila to death back on Titatitan. He would at least see him incriminated with corporate espionage.

Yan Xiaosu heard him out without much response. He chuckled. "This Pila is quite capable, isn't he? In just a day, he managed to spread the rumors thus far. That Aegentos has a good eye."

Everyone was speechless. Did he really still have the mood to joke around at this time?

The thing had soured until now. If they could not respond, then the Tita Business Organization's carefully built-up reputation could be finished. If a business negotiation did not work out, you could take it as a vacation, and a reading of the ground. But a puncturing of business reputation was no joking matter that self-consolation could solve. Especially since those on business here came from all parts of the Milky Way, and from all levels. Once they returned to spread the news…

The entire Tita Business Organization's credit rating would fall. It might even drag down the reputation of Titatitan Star.

They must counter the opponent.

But the problem was that they were in foreign territory! How about a press announcement to explain the situation? That was exactly what Pila was hoping for. Such business matters only led to more doubt when subject to gossip. It also gave the opponent more chances to express their doubts. After all, some things were business secrets that could not be revealed, and the moment you said the information was classified, then doubt would deepen.

Yan Xiaosu smiled. "Panicking will not help one bit. That's it for today then. Tomorrow is the opening ceremony. When we get to the mountain, there will be a way through."

So the proverb went, but there might not be such a light at the end of the tunnel…

At that moment, Laurel, who had not spoken thus far, pulled Zhao Elin to one side. "Brother Yan speaks the truth. I'll be borrowing the beauty of your house. Let the men worry about it. They're in charge of earning money and supporting the house. We're in charge of looking good."

Zhao Elin obediently turned towards Yan Xiaosu, and Yan Xiaosu nodded and smiled. "Go on, and don't save my money. I'm just about to go find a masseur… Don't worry, I'm looking for a master, a guy."

Jasper and Gabre left the massage place before too long. Both had much to discuss.

Yan Xiaosu could be relaxed, but they had not the mood. This could not be Yan Xiaosu, testing their ability. Even someone with no ability could not have made things this bad.

Jasper lit a cigarette, but did not smoke it. He pincered it between his fingers, and inhaled the smoke. After a while, he said, "Gabre, we can't just leave this as it is. If we sit terrified, I won't be able to face myself, even if Brother Yan can."

Gabre was not surprised by Jasper's words. He was of the same mind. He nodded. "We've ridden on his coattails long enough. D*mn, I don't' believe that Pila trash is so powerful."

In truth, ever since they had come under Yan Xiaosu, both had left behind their playboy ways. In their own family hierarchy, one was beginning to be groomed as the heir, while the other sat in a stable position. Most importantly, they were beginning to be regarded well by their families. This was a feeling they had never experienced before. And Yan Xiaosu was a chivalrous and magnanimous man who treated his brothers well. This was a completely different feeling.

"This time around, we must at least settle the matter. I've thought about it. To strike back at Pila, there is but one move. In truth, as long as we can get the investments, then the rumors count for nothing." Jasper kneaded his fist. He had introduced Pila. Now that he was the problem, Brother Yan did not hold it against him, but Jasper felt responsible.

Before, he could have fooled around a little, and laughed it off and feigned indifference. But now things were different. What he pursued was also different. Now he faced his responsibilities head-on so that he could go further.

Gabre nodded. "I'll go ask for some favors tomorrow. I'm sure I can pull some funds…"

Jasper nodded. "We'll divide and conquer. You do that, and I'll try something else. Let's drop the subject for now. Oh, and no matter how much we can raise, we must hype the atmosphere."

Gabre agreed deeply. A no-show was scary.

At the flourishing night market, Zhao Elin and Laurel had purchased a small heap of things. Some were souvenirs, and other small things that girls liked. Brand was not necessary. What they liked, and thought was special, they bought.

Zhao Elin was enjoying herself. Laurel was a shrewd girl, while Zhao Elin was simple. Laurel would have no problems getting along with her.

When they were resting, Zhao Elin eventually could not help but ask, "Sister Laurel, will there be any problems? They all seem very troubled."

She was not worried about the business, but about Yan Xiaosu.

Laurel smiled and said heartily, "Don't worry, sometimes taking a setback is not a bad thing." Capability wise, she was definitely stronger than Jasper. But the problem was, if she was going to be serious about a guy, she hoped it would be someone she could entrust her future to, and not some weakling.

Laurel batted her eyes. "Your husband is a very remarkable man. At least in terms of his personal qualities, he's far ahead of Jasper and Gabre."

"Oh, him. He only knows how to act. All of you have been dazzled by his show."

Laurel laughed. Was that truly the case? She had seen far too many people who put on airs, and Yan Xiaosu did not seem like that kind.

The Galaxy Trade Fair had formally begun. A grand opening ceremony and fanfare, but it was all for nought. The Tita Business Organization had been shamed.

The Tita Business Organization's position…

It was quite removed, and surrounded by other small and medium enterprises. Clearly, they had been purposely set up by somebody.

But there was nothing they could do. Booths were not strictly regulated. It all depended on the organizer's status, and there was no one they could even bring it up to. And this was clearly Pila's work. Rumors still had an effect. If it were not that the name of KO group still had some influence, they might have been chased out.

"This isn't too bad. Anyone who is willing to look for us here must already be a genuine person." Yan Xiaosu's optimism in the face of trouble got a laugh out of them. And the regular workers that were here to suffer with the few big bosses would definitely be looking at a raise or promotion.

In the centre was GLP Group's booth. Pila was full of himself, dominating the field. GLP's program was very popular. Talks had gone well in the past few days, and they had also sealed two huge orders in just the past hour.

They saw off another customer, and Pila had just taken a seat when a worker in a blue suit approached and said in a low voice, "Young Master, they are so pitiful over there that there isn't even a kitten nearby."

Pila took a drink of tea. The Tita Business Organization's position was his doing. "Keke, carry on monitoring them. Call me directly if anything happens."

"As you say, Young Master."

The position of one's booth was not the key, but merely a spiteful move. On his side, he had prepared something even more cruel: GLP Group's alliance with Aslan's Magic Group to develop Kusima, the primitive planet.

Although Aegentos had been actively welcoming, there were still many interested in the potential of Titatitan Star's tourist industry. Many family businesses specialized in this, and were big investors. That the recouping would take a long period of time did not bother them at all. They prioritized stability and set returns. Stability over everything.

In the last two days, they had not contacted the Tita Business Organization, hoping to use their predicament to gain better terms from the Tita Business Organization. Should they not be rewarded for their timely and needed business?

But when this day had begun, a few professional tourism development companies were just preparing to go to the Tita Business Organization when they saw the announcement from GLP!

Kusima Star!

They were equally rich in resources. Although they were not rare minerals, they were rich in crystals and jewel ores. To the tourism developers, these were even more lucrative than the supergravity ores. A bauble program could attract the money of a huge number of quality customers. This was a violent and straightforward tactic. Besides, speculation would not affect this program as much. Most importantly, the Milky Way Alliance would not impose stringent control on these ores.

Besides, Magic Group's cooperation meant that it had the trust of Aslan's financial plutocracy. It was capable of fending off risk by itself.

Lastly, and the most crucial point, was Kusima Star's position. It was not far from a business transport line. Tourists headed to Kusima need not transit too many times. The further stars might require two transits, whereas the more developed planets might only require 1.

In comparison, Titatitan Star's program was a little…

Deserted.

An occasional person dropped by to inquire, but left after exchanging a couple of words. It was about the same as Kusima Star's offer, with less favorable terms.

There was no such thing as hate or love without reason. Although Pila bore resentment towards them, even more so was that Tita Star's program was in direct competition to them. He would settle accounts, old and new, all at once, and crush Tita Star here.

Just at this time, Gabre, sweating profusely, had dragged someone over.

"Let me introduce – this is Uncle Mance, Executive Chairman of the Mance Investment Group. My godfather…"

At the last line, Gabre's face blushed a little. His luck was not bad. Just as he was about to return empty-handed, he had met Uncle Mance.

Mance was in a tough spot. He was not at all interested in Titatitan Star's murky situation.

But he had been the one present at Gabre's baptism, and he was long-time business partners with Gabre's father. If he did not help them out, then what kind of old friend could he call himself?

Chapter 1060: A Truly Mighty Man!

Yan Xiaosu had perked up as well, enthusiastically selling his bid.

"Stop. Forget the introduction. I'll support you in this endeavor. Just bring me the letter of intent." Mance shook his head. He did not want to waste his time. He would directly sign the letter of intent. But as he did, he added a caveat. "Of course, this is just a token. Whether I follow up on this will depend on your early results."

Yan Xiaosu smiled. Breaking the zero was still a happy occasion. "Mr. Mance, our program is really quite something. And it might surprise you."

Mance laughed. This guy was really into it. Just a token to save all their face. A surprise?

Seeing how deserted this area was, it was indeed a "surprise".

Gabre was a little embarrassed. "Uncle…"

"Relax. I'll support you on this one to the bottom. Youngsters must not be afraid of failure when they try. It's nothing." Mance smiled.

At his age, he was not petty about such things. And his status lending weight would be enough to save Gabre's face. Gabre was very clear on this. In the past, he might not have dared to ask, but this time he really needed Mance's support. As for how he would pay Mance back, that was a matter for the future.

Seeing that the other party was not too interested, Yan Xiaosu casually struck up small talk with Zhao Elin, which left Mance shaking his head slightly.

Just at that moment, at the entrance of the Trade Fair…

A figure, clutching a thick stack of leaflets, frantically distributing information.

It was no one else but Jasper!

At first, he had intended to solicit customers on the spot. His target was those development companies that specialized in the tourism sector. But he had not anticipated that Pila would pull that stunt with Kusima. That was a real blow, which had left him at a loss. He had only just realized that they had been gunning for them from the start. He had been too naïve.

Titatitan Star? They gave their deepest regrets, but their company's personnel was currently in talks with GLP. Please leave a message, and we will return your call…

When he went in person, he could not even meet someone in charge, but was fended off by a small fry receptionist. Besides, the tone was clear. They purposely revealed GLP's Kusima planet agenda, which meant: don't come looking for us, and we won't call you either.

Total rejection.

Jasper did not have Gabre's luck either, to meet with a friend of his father. And now it was not only too late to solicit for supporters, but also meaningless. The Tita Business Organization needed partners with real value, and not flag-waving supporters.

Jasper himself could not accept this result. He had not used all his strength. He could not admit defeat! He had printed a stack of information sheets about Titatitan and leapt back to the venue entrance. In the venue, with the influence of Kusima, everyone shook their heads automatically when they heard "Titatitan Star," with no intention of listening further. But what about those who had just arrived?

Jasper, sweating profusely, handed out his sheets one by one. At this time, the sun had already reached its zenith. Perhaps it would not be felt in a few minutes, but Jasper had already been handing out leaflets for more than an hour.

Many had received the leaflets, paying little attention to both the person handing them out, and the information on the sheet. "Hello, Jasper representing the Tita Business Organization. Titatitan welcomes…" A majority waved him off after having heard this much, and entered the venue with an apologetic expression.

Did he really think them ignorant of the proceedings inside just because they were outside?

Naïve. But it seemed like Titatitan Star's side was not short of drive.

A pity that in the language of business, drive could not save the world.

In every place that Jasper could see, sheets of new leaflets had been carelessly tossed aside, and into the garbage cans within the venue.

Wasn't he angry?

He was! But they had been willing to stretch out a hand, and smile and listen to his pitch. That was already giving him face.

Since he was here giving out flyers, he was not some prince. He was not Tadinger Group's vice chairman, and not a core member of the Tita Business Organization. He was just a worker diligently looking for customers.

All of this was witnessed by Laurel, who had been looking for him all day. Was this really the playboy heir of the Tadinger Group?

A man's worth was seen not by how high he could hold his head, but how much he could lower it in tough times.

Laurel did not disturb Jasper, but slowly retracted her footsteps. She had finally found a dependable man.

Another group of late-arriving investors had just dismounted from their cars. From the looks of it, they had finished their own discussions outside before deciding to enter the venue.

Jasper sprang up, smiling brightly. "How do you do? Representative of the Tita Business Organization. Titatitan Star welcomes…" Jasper had even dropped his name from the pitch.

"Tita Business Organization? Keke…"

The one in front received the leaflet with a chuckle. Just as he was about to wave a hand of refusal, he looked at Jasper and started. "Eh? You… aren't you Tadinger Group's Jasper?"

Jasper started as well. He had actually been recognized. "I am Jasper. And you are…"

"Torres. Mig Group's Torres. Do you remember me? Haha, I even brought you hunting before. How old were you then? Not even 10?" Torres looked at Jasper's face, flushed red from the sun, and was so shocked his jaw almost fell off. "I heard you were doing quite well recently. Why are you standing here all by yourself?"

Jasper smiled. "Ah, Big Brother Torres. As you can see, the sun has scorched me of my wits. How fortuitous – are you interested in learning more about the Titatitan program?"

At this moment, someone was whispering in Torres' ear. Jasper knew it could be nothing good. But he had learnt a measure of composure from Yan Xiaosu. The Jasper of the past would have rushed forward to start a quarrel.

Torres waved the person off. "Enough of that yes and no thing. Rumors are abundant. Everything else aside, seeing you so intent and willing, I think this program is worth learning more about. Esteemed friends, what do you think?"

"Keke, I think that anything that can make Tadinger's Jasper put his whole heart in is worth a listen."

Those around had begun to nod as well. They were not particularly impressed by an heir giving out leaflets. On the contrary, they felt that this program must have some problem. But the important thing was Jasper's expression when giving out the flyers. He had been earnest and focused, speaking of his confidence in this program.

Why not hear out such a program?

Mance took his time with his tea. Virtually nobody had come here, while the other side was roaring with business. Until Jasper led a group of people over. Laurel's face broke out into a smile. Jasper's background and ability were far from hers, but his performance today had impressed her.

Yan Xiaosu was shocked. He had not expected Jasper to be able to pull such a large crowd. And they were laughing and talking. It seemed like they were interested in their program.

"Laurel, these are company representatives interested in our program. Please give them an introduction." Jasper smiled.

"Welcome, everybody. Allow me to begin by talking about the general situation on Tita Star. Titatitan's nature…"

Laurel was unquestionably a charismatic girl. Her logic was crisp, her point clear, and everyone was nodding nonstop. If some companies preferred the short term programs, others preferred the long term program. Tita Star's program already had a few companies backing it, and was viable.

"Everyone, see for yourselves that this is a dirty proposal." At this time, a voice of dissent rose. It was Pila again.

"Pila, what do you mean!?" Jasper was really angry now. He was being tested past his limits.

Beside Pila, that Aegentos was smirking. He feigned indifference, but was flanked by a large crowd of business representatives.

"Why, Jasper, I don't mean anything. Firstly, as a member of Clark, I hope that all friends who come to attend our Trade Fair can get the best programs. Coincidentally, what we offer is very similar to yours. Of course, the important thing is that I came to tell the friends here that Tita Star's program is problematic, and not to be swindled by you!" Pila scoffed, completely ignoring Jasper's murderous glare. If it was not for Laurel holding him back, Jasper would have rushed over.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I participated in Tita Star's program before, but gave up eventually. The planet is indeed worth developing, but the transport routes are complicated. Moreover, they are unsafe. There are too many barbarians yet to become civilized. A small taster might still be viable, but large-scale development is unsuitable. Of course, some might feel that they could build a cooperative relationship, and perhaps gain access to the super-gravity energy ore? Then let me tell you all that it is impossible. It will never appear on the contract, and if they secretly promise it, then they will not follow up on it. It's thievery. On the contrary, our program has a safe route, and is a beautiful colony planet of Aslan…"

It had to be said that Pila had a silver tongue. It was black and white, with logic and rhetoric. His continued pitching moved a few hearts.

Yan Xiaosu was not worried?

D*mn, he wanted to beat this bastard to death with a shoe. But that was not possible. He had to continue putting up a show; otherwise, they would really be finished. This guy was a snake. If they made a move on him, that would become another joke, and ugly news.

Luckily, a Skylink tone shook Yan Xiaosu from his reverie. Seeing the news, his anger evaporated. Tyrant Su motioned for everyone to be silent, and walked onto the platform. If he had a halo around his head, the moment would be perfect.

Pila smirked. This Tyrant was trying to put on airs again. He was actually interested to see what he would come up with this time.

What???

Yan Xiaosu mounted the stage and looked at everyone. "You see, after this Lapi guy has said so much, I'm sure that everyone more or less is leaning towards a decision. Jasper, Gabre, the two of you have worked hard. There are so many people. Enough mingling. Those who wish to understand our Tita program, please step to one side. The rest, please go to the other side."

[TL Note: Lapi is the reverse of Pila, Xiaosu is insulting him by calling his name backwards.]

Jasper and Gabre exchanged looks. He seemed like he was… trying to insult everyone until they left. This seemed to be a forced hand.

Although Laurel had no idea what was going on, she was more aware than the other two. "Jasper, what are you waiting for?"

Mance had not thought he would meet such a dunderhead who would actually ask his customers to divide themselves. That seemed like digging his own grave. But at this point, all they could do was tolerate him.

Torres was smiling, and motioning for the rest to comply. He wanted to see what Jasper was up to.

Yan Xiaosu smiled slightly. "Thank you, everybody, for your cooperation. And our thanks to Mr. Lapi for his concern and fabrications towards our program, which brought us so much attention. Our program uses the Tita Ecological Area as a base… which connects to Maklou's brand new rare-mineral transport route, which links the two planets. At the same time, we have been awarded part of Maklou's trade rights. Of course, as to the question that worries everyone – mining – we will definitely be selecting sincere and excellent partners to work on it. A mining route is not something that a few companies can handle. Besides, why enjoy alone when we can enjoy together, right?"

Yan Xiaosu's voice was exceptionally loud, and he used the amplification effect on his Skylink. His words silenced the entire venue. No one made a sound.

What???

New transport route??? New rare minerals transport route? New free trade line?

What did this mean?

Everybody with a business mind could hear the sound of their own heart beating…

Yan Xiaosu sauntered off, leaving them in his wake.

"Dear, I'm a little tired. Let's go to a spa. Jasper, I leave this in your hands. When I do business, I'm about the loyalty. Money? Those are external things, don't worry too much about it."

Zhao Elin clutched Yan Xiaosu's arm. "Hubby, you're so cool!"

Instantly, Jasper was swarmed by the crowd from all sides…

Chapter 1061: An Enigmatic Tyrant

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

Jasper was absolutely confused. He had no idea what was going on – a new transport route?

Was that possible?

Everybody knew the difficulty of trade routes, especially routes that traversed planets. Without the Milky Way Alliance's permit, it was impossible. Besides, Maklou was an old player in the mining industry and a free trade harbor. Why would they be willing to cooperate with Tita Star?

Jasper aside, even Laurel had her doubts. None of them had received any news. Could Yan Xiaosu be telling a huge lie just to save his face?

There was no way out of this now.

"Everyone, calm down. This is all a sham. It's impossible. This KO Group's previous reincarnation sold sanitary napkins. They're all swindlers. How could something as major as a transport route proceed without a whisper? The Alliance doesn't just approve anything easily either!" Pila hollered. His calm logic started to rouse the crowd. "It must be fake. I know that Yan Xiaosu, he likes to prank people. He must have run because he was scared of us!"

Yan Xiaosu had already disappeared without a trace. Clearly, Pila had been very persuasive.

Everyone quickly cooled their fervor. That was true. A trade route, especially a free-trade mining route, could not be opened so easily.

Mance looked at Gabre and frowned because he looked equally uninformed.

This program was huge. If it were true, then the slightest wind of it would see investors swarm all over it. Money was not a problem – could such good things really fall from the sky?

If these conditions were real, why did they have to work so hard?

"You see, even the personnel themselves are astonished. We of Clark Republic don't welcome swindlers. Men, security, run them out of here!" Pila said vindictively.

Those present felt like something was off. Even if this was a scam, you would normally wait for an explanation. This seemed overboard. Besides, who was this guy even? He was of Clark, but the rest were not. He had taken this too far.

Aegentos moved forward. Everyone looked at the guy who represented the largest financial group in Aslan.

Suddenly, Aegentos' face broke out in the most beatific of smiles. "Jasper, I had long heard that Lya Sphinx had a worthy person of the same age. I confess I was unconvinced at first, but the real thing does indeed bear out the rumors. I, Aegentos of the Galaxy Magic Group, am very interested in this program."

A huge dramatic turnaround. Everyone was taken aback. They had just been at loggerheads. This…

Aegentos had been the first to confirm the news. Galaxy Magic Group's power was indeed formidable. For someone of his age to lead the galaxy's foremost financial group, he must have the ability to back it up.

Only then did it begin to dawn on the rest. D*mn, if he wouldn't confirm it, couldn't they do so themselves?!

Laurel's information had just arrived, just a shade slower. "The Alliance has passed this proposal not long ago. A special allowance for Titatitan and Maklou to establish a common route, in order for Tita Star to recover as soon as possible from its war."

Laurel's words were on point. They not only conveyed to everyone that the route had been approved, but her last phrase was monumental – indicating that the Alliance was favoring Tita Star, in order to amend the unsavory image of the war. This meant that Tita Star would continue to be favored in future policies.

Jasper smiled slightly. "Galaxy Magic, an honor. We select partners on the basis of sincerity. We will not ruin a good pot of soup with rotten meat. For example, those like Lapi."

Aegentos smiled even more widely. "I have no idea of whom you speak of. We of Galaxy Magic Group do business on the basis of quality of character first as well. I also suggest that everybody avoids those like that of the Lonk Group, which conducts not business, but harassment."

Aegentos was a clever man. He had to make the gesture; otherwise, this matter would not concern him at all. As for Pila, that was trash he did not mind insulting. Treading on toes was part of business anyway.

Pila's previous lies, as well as his arrogant and despotic attitude, were classic of a petty soul. Any group he represented must be bad news as well.

Everyone automatically kept their distance from Pila. As for the KO Tita Business Organization, the real show was about to begin.

The earliest contacts, Mance and Torres, definitely had the advantage, although they had not anticipated such a reward.

This was unimaginable. How could such a large contract fall into the hands of such a small company? Had Tita Star agreed? Had Maklou?

As for Pila, he had turned to stone. This matter was clearly not so simple. Benefits aside, the entire process had shown him for who he really was. No one would consent to do business with him in the future. Trade competition was unavoidable, but Pila's tactics were petty, and he had rushed to put himself first. In the end, he had not even understood his opponents. Who would want this guy on their side?

He would now basically pay with his own life.

If Lonk Group wanted to have a hope of regaining its reputation, then they could not let Pila off easy. As for this matter, Jasper and the rest could not be bothered with it.

At night.

"Brother Yan, my brother, what on earth is going on? I was mobbed by a bunch of lunatics. How did this route fall into our hands? Did Maklou's side agree?" Jasper was afire with curiosity.

"Brother Yan, I heard that Maklou's side is in chaos. What is going on? We were completely unprepared for this. If this contract is real, then it must be the biggest contract in the universe." Gabre was also a little anxious. He felt like he was on the verge of a breakthrough.

"I say, can the two of you calm yourselves? Drink some water. Look at Laurel, that's style." Yan Xiaosu laughed.

Laurel did not know whether to laugh or cry. "Brother Yan, you're killing us with the suspense. I'm no better than they are. I already confirmed the news. The Alliance just approved it. I hear that the standing committee approved it with the slim advantage of just one vote. It was a close one."

Yan Xiaosu smiled. Laurel's ability was indeed noteworthy. "The process is unimportant. But we have to show the opposition some face. This contract will be completely managed by the Tita Business Organization, Tita Star, and Maklou. Of course, after the contract hits the ground, Maklou's Julian family will run things."

Wang Zheng and Mu Sen had already hinted it to Yan Xiaosu, only they had not provided final confirmation, and Yan Xiaosu had not dared to jump the gun. At the same time, he wanted to see if the core strength of this Tita Business Organization was dependable. They had to be able to weather both thick and thin.

"Brother Yan… I…" Gabre hesitated.

"D*mn, why are you all tongue tied like a girl? Out with it!" Yan Xiaosu said.

From the side, Zhao Elin pinched Yan Xiaosu. "How dare you!"
