Chapter 1353: The Most Beautiful Sister-in-law

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

The war between Aslan and Arbiter had been left far behind by Wang Zheng and Aina. After ten days of travel, they had finally arrived at Titatitan Star. They did not conceal themselves, nor did they make a great deal of their arrivals. Mu Sen had already prepared ahead of time. Wang Zheng's arrival was like an anchor for Tita Star. As for Aina, the Titans did not seem to care for the reactions of Aslan. The Titans had something that very few humans had, and that was accountability.

This was Aina's first time at Titatitan Star. While she was at the spaceport, she was already overwhelmed by the beauty of Tita. The spaceport was very advanced as resources were not an issue. However, this was nothing to Aina. The primeval ecological scenery that was almost well-preserved was what was most enchanting. It was really fortunate that Tita Star had not destroyed any of its natural resources as a result of its development.

Mu Sen, Lan Ling, and Aina did not know each other very well. So, they remained very formal. Lan Ling was full of admiration for Aina. As a princess of the strongest nation of the Milky Way Alliance, she had actually eloped with Wang Zheng… Not comparing looks and background, this alone made Lan Ling realise that she had lost to Aina.

She was more familiar with Yan Xiaosu and Ye Zisu. They were also not concerned about Aina's status. Local Tycoon Su was winking and giving her surreptitious looks, causing Aina to feel pretty uncomfortable.

Together, the group headed to a branch in the mountain. Mu Sen knew that Wang Zheng and Aina were there because they needed time alone for themselves, so he did not make a big deal of the fanfare. After all, he had been young before.

"Princess Aina… or should I call you sister-in-law!" said Yan Xiaosu shamelessly. "Ouch, Lingling, don't pinch me!"

Zhao Yiling felt helpless towards this blabbermouth husband of hers.

Aina gave a little smile. "You should."

"See, see! What did I tell you? Indeed extraordinary. The Princess dares to love and hate. Although Aslan possesses the most thriving and advanced technologies, Tita Star has the most beautiful natural scenery. There's also the unique experience of speeding in the wilderness. I always feel that when one's driving, you need to have this wheeling feeling. The maglev car has only speed but lacks the feeling," said Yan Xiaosu passionately.

"Shut up, everyone thinks you're dumb!" Ye Zisu could not help but retort. "Don't mind him, Aina. That's the way he is."

Aina smiled. "Sister Zisu. I'm alone and don't know anyone here. If Wang Zheng bullies me, you're the only person I can depend on."

Said Aina gently as she pulled Ye Zisu's arm. Ye Zisu felt rather flattered. She was also feeling sorry for Aina. This high and mighty Princess had given up a lot for Wang Zheng. She knew that it was easy for a person to climb up and that it was difficult to step down. She was sincerely happy for Wang Zheng.

Wang Zheng rubbed his nose. What did I say? What did I do? Yet I'm still unjustly accused.

"Wang Zheng, it seems like your tile of the Greatest King does not have any deterrence here." The mood had been livened up by Yan Xiaosu. Lan Ling also could not help but tease a little.

Wang Zheng laughed foolishly. He was feeling very happy indeed. This was the feeling of returning home, abandoning the pretentiousness.

"Right, Elder Mu Sen, where's Old Merchant?"

"Mr. Alan Tucker is now the director of the Sciences Academy of Tita Star. As our facilities are too lagging behind, Mr. Tucker has been leading teams to make improvements. He said that he will look for you when he's free." Mu Sen was helpless too. As an Elder, he had been very impressed with mankind's sciences because this power had made mankind who they were today. Alan Tucker was a representative scientist of this era. Even the Saint's technologies were reliant on him. In fact, Old Merchant had not been idle while at the Saint. As a result of the chaos back then, technical faults had begun to appear. In order to connect them together, Alan Tucker had been a crucial factor, especially in putting the theory to practical use. It only took him a quick look to understand what others understood. He could understand what others could not understand. However, Alan Tucker had been stalling. Right from the start, he had always used the Saint as a place to hide out.

However, it was a different story when he returned to Tita Star. Tita Star… it was damn backward. Old Merchant could not help but swear when he first arrived. Of course, under limited conditions, Old Merchant was prepared to get to the important point. However, after he came into contact with a large amount of super gravity energy mines, he had discovered a new land. Hence, he had no time for Wang Zheng for the time being.

After hearing Lan Ling's explanation, Wang Zheng was feeling grateful too. He knew that Old Merchant was doing this for him. At his level, Old Merchant could see more clearly. Tita Star was the foundation of his foothold. When the world was against him, Tita Star would fight alongside him until the very end.

"Xiaosu, what plans do Zhang Shan, Mu Zhen, and the rest have?" asked Wang Zheng. He had almost no contact with the outside world for a while, but Yan Xiaosu had been in contact with the rest.

"Zhang Shan is now the captain of Saruman Snake. Although Elite Academy X has been somewhat intense because of the confrontations between Aslan and Arbiter, especially since most Arbiter cadets have left the Academy, he still wants to remain there. Mu Zhen is not back either. It was the wish of the Elders that he should continue to learn. We are also sending some better potential talent there as well," said Yan Xiaosu. "Ai Xiaolu is back at the Hail Cloud Alliance. That young lady intends to make a big downfall from this war."

Ai Xiaolu's acumen was still very high. The Aishi Financial Group would not sit back and watch their opportunities slip by. Over the years, Arbiter had accumulated a huge amount of resources and technologies. The Hail Cloud Alliance would want to take in the winnings too. Everyone knew this.

"Arbiter isn't a push over. Tell Ai Xiaolu to be careful," said a helpless Wang Zheng. He knew that Ai Xiaolu probably did not have much of a choice.

"We just received news that Arbiter has opened their doors and that there have been some rebellions. It seems that when confronted with the pressure of the coalition forces, problems started surfacing internally. It has been plain sailing for Arbiter all these years because they have not been confronted with such strong opponents before," commented Lan Ling. Taking a quick look at Aina, "If this is swift, this war may end within three months."

Lan Ling was worried that, by then, Aina would have to go back again. Wang Zheng would be heartbroken. In fact, she would like to know how Aina felt.

"Don't worry about me. After I've come here, I'm just an ordinary person. Aslan's victory or defeat has nothing to do with me. However, the situation is not as positive. The strongest force of the coalition, Manalasuo, has yet to make a move. This means that they know very clearly that Arbiter has not struck with any real force yet. If the coalition takes it lightly, they will suffer a big loss. In terms of national style and hard warfare, Arbiter is the strongest in the Milky Way Alliance," commented Aina.

Everyone was speechless. At a time when the international situation seemed to be leaning towards Aslan, no one could have thought that Aina would have such a view. But in fact, although the tides seemed to be leaning one-sided towards Aslan, Manalasuo had indeed remained inactive, with seemingly no intention of committing themselves. However, the fleets of Manalasuo had been gathering. If they made their position clear now, at least they could still reap some profits for themselves. But since they had not committed themselves, it meant that they were still waiting.

A glimmer of light flashed in Mu Sen's eyes. In fact, these were his thoughts as well. As an outsider, he could observe the situations of the Milky Way Alliance in a calmer manner. The coalition was powerful only because of the benefits that they might gain. Although Arbiter was fighting alone, as the lone force, their fighting spirits were none the weaker. They have been losing too easily right now. This seemed a little dangerous. It was unclear if the coalition had come to this realisation too, and not just realisation, but a true understanding.

"Alright, that's enough. That's none of our business. We are here today to celebrate Wang Zheng and Aina finally getting together. Let's only talk about happy stuff!" said Fatso Yan boldly.

Their jeeps raced towards the mountain base.

Chapter 1354: Wang Zheng Again

Wang Zheng and Aina's residence were ready in the depths of the Ling Mountain. Elder Shan Yue was elated. He thought Mu Sen would arrange for Ada at his own residence. Mu Sen finally knew how to share after being the governor for a few years.

Mu Sen knew Wang Zheng and Aina's thoughts. He told Shan Yue to dispel the idea of using the patriarch's tent. Shan Meng brought men to build a wooden house near a lake in the deep valley of Ling Mountain.

When the first group of people arrived, thousands of giants and wise ones gathered in front of the tribe. A group of Tita children were running around happily. Some of them were hanging around in trees. The Titans were now familiar with humans.

"Shan Meng, representing the citizens of Ling Mountain, would like to present our gift to Ada!" As Shan Meng's voice boomed, cheers rang forth.

Wang Zheng chose this place because he could be the envy of enemies from other areas. If it wasn't for Mu Sen forbidding the other tribes from interfering with Wang Zheng's life, there was no telling how many Titans would come on a pilgrimage.

The Oracle Star was completely forgotten by the Milky Way Alliance. Everyone was sure that the Arbiters were on the same side as the Saint. The Saint would be done for as long as they defeated Arbiter. The Milky Way Alliance fleets were targeting Arbiter while they left the Oracle Star untouched under the direction of Aslan. This was such an obvious loophole, but most of the countries chose not to see it. The fleets could run, but could the Oracle Star run?

Should they send a fleet there to take a look before it exploded and the evidence was destroyed?

Many more stars were in the skies above. That was the unconcealed fleet from the Saint. Thousands of them were suspended in the air, invisible to all who looked up into the sky.

The disciples of the Saint were roaring with passion. This was their force, thousands of powerful warships that could compete against any powerful country… In fact, many of the coalition forces had been swept away. This was no more an inspiration, but a madness.

The massacre in the Holy City was still ongoing, so was the battle for the Son of Saint. Amongst the five core Sons of Saint, one was dead, one had fled. The situation had become more intense with three remaining. The Holy City didn't allow anyone to remain neutral. Join a Son of Saint or die. No one understood what the Great Elder was planning, but they had no choice.

Constant confrontations and attacks happened between the three fractions. There was no winner, only mountains of corpses.

The huge change naturally alerted the other Elders. The Second Elder was gone. The Third, Fourth, Fifth, Seventh, and Ninth Elders had the same interests as the Great Elder, even though they might not be on the same side. They didn't appear when the Great Elder called for them. Those that did appear obviously wanted to remain on the aircraft carrier of the Aslan Empire.

This was all within the expectations of Constantine. Unfortunately, he hadn't captured Wang Zheng. If he had, he would have gotten rid of all these elders. There was no more need for the Saint with an Aslan Empire that had absolute control. Constantine was going to rid the thorns standing in the way of his power.

The competition for the Son of Saint was a good way to showcase this. Those who were with him would survive, while those that weren't only deserved death. Too many was trouble as well. It was the right time for purification. Wang Zheng, well, this lad was really lucky. He had managed to contact Alan Tucker somehow and survived. That was out of his expectations. However, it wasn't time for the Saint to appear. Constantine could only wait. He had waited all these years, what was a few more moments.

The good news was that the Zerg gene fusion experiment was very successful. Constantine might possess the most knowledge of the Abyssal Zergs.

Under that person's leadership all those years back, the Saint Church from the Solar System finally defeated the core of the Zergs. The problem was that humans were scavengers of the universe, destroying cultivation continuously. This cycle never ended. The Zergs rose up again and again with unlimited life force. Until now, humans had yet to understand where the Zergs came from.

That person somehow broke off the invasion route of the Zergs before the second wave of the insect plague. However, he went off in the end. Constantine didn't understand. He clearly had abnormal powers, how could he just give everything up and leave? He would never have wasted that power if it was his.

Obviously the Abyssal Zergs were on a terrifying level. The best way to resolve this was to get Aslan to unify the Milky Way Alliance and establish an efficient human world. He would also obtain that inheritance at the same time. Of course, humans were not the same as they were. Studying the Abyssal Zergs could allow humans to further understand their power.

The Zerg tribe had tried to fuse with humans then, why couldn't the present humans prepare for it now?

Lear and Luo Fei had made extraordinary progress. That was the only good news recently. Constantine would hold a trump card as long as they were to succeed.

He wanted data from the experiments. Lear and Luo Fei's lives weren't important. Lear was someone with ambition, which wasn't a bad thing. His concern was if this person could be controlled, and if he could be, was it beneficial to Aslan's great plan?

Constantine had his decision in a matter of seconds. Lear and Luo Fei had to die because they weren't his people. He could copy these over to his trusted warriors once they had enough data. He wasn't going to leave such a big variant in his plan.

The era of humans on Earth was over.

"Master, Princess Huiyin's condition isn't so good. Should we find a reason to send her back to Aslan?" the Thirteenth Elder suggested respectfully.

Constantine knitted his brows. This was something bothering him recently. This granddaughter of his was too childish. How had Kashawen educated her? How could she be so ignorant when faced with the interest and direction of their great empire?

Constantine had wronged Kashawen. The Prime Minister didn't have the time to teach her child. It was lucky that she didn't have the time as well. Huiyin was angelic. Huiyin's sudden appearance was what gave Wang Zheng time to escape. If not for her, even though his plan was great, he wouldn't have been able to escape from the clutches of a Heaven-rank.

"Isn't the Oracle Star good enough?"

"Master, Highness Huiyin is troubled by affairs of the heart. She might get better if she were to return to Aslan," the Thirteenth Elder continued. "She is having a constant fever and is muttering a name repeatedly…"

"Who is it for her to miss him so much? Get him here!" It was so much easier for them to bring a person over than to send Huiyin back.

"…Wang Zheng." Constantine's face darkened the moment that name escaped the Thirteenth Elder's lips.

Chapter 1355: Love Being Together

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

The vital energy of Ling Mountain was uniquely fresh, especially suitable for Aina. This was why Wang Zheng had chosen to reside here.

Aina loved the serenity of this place. She stood by the lake in the mornings and basked in the sun. Her every breath brought her peace. All her worries disappeared with the wind. The Titans didn't give them too much trouble since Mu Sen had spoken to Shan Meng about it. It wasn't so dry that night, and Wang Zheng might not have any issues, but Aina was exhausted. Most importantly, Wang Zheng knew that although Aina looked very calm, she was likely dying inside.

They slept hugging each other. Aina slept well. During the times when she trembled, Wang Zheng needed only to hug her and pat her back for her to regain her calmness. The beautiful Tita and time would let Aina forget her pain.

"Xiao Shi, time to eat breakfast." Wang Zheng called out to Aina as he stretched. Such a charming morning with the beautiful Aina.

Aina looked over her shoulder and smiled. The scenery around her lost its luster all of a sudden. "Are we trying your cooking?"

Breakfast was fish, small dishes made with Tita's unique wide mountain vegetables, and the porridge of the Titans. These were all made in consideration of Aina's appetite. They were sent over by the children of Ling Mountain. The basic facilities were all here, but not at the stage where you could just switch the stove on to cook.

"This place is great." Aina wiped her red, succulent lips after she was done and roused her eyes at Wang Zheng. Aina's heart was filled with warmth. Honestly, she would've been fine with it if Wang Zheng desired her last night, but there would be some form of regret. Every girl wanted a wedding, a ceremony, an important promise. It might not be in this form, but it was to satisfy themselves.

She took Wang Zheng's hand and led him outside. She took a deep breath and opened her arms unconsciously. It was unclear if she was the one hugging the planet or if the planet was admiring her. Wang Zheng could feel that Aina's aura was very comparable to her surroundings. Wang Zheng had never once doubted Aina's gift. As a Princess, she didn't need to develop too much combat power. He hoped that Aina would be comfortable here. He was the same.

"The weather is good, let me cultivate for a bit," Wang Zheng said with a smile.

Aina clapped at his side. "Please do, my Greatest King!"

Wang Dong didn't stand on the ceremony, with his spiritual power integrating with the surrounding. Integrating, understanding everything that was there, everything natural.

The universe was composed of countless small universes. This was not something humans could really understand, but Wang Zheng was already getting started. This was not something technology could catch up to, but a realm. There was a universe in himself. Time, life, could be considered another kind, just a different kind. Once they comprehended it, they could break the boundaries and detach from the limitations of life.

Aina gradually approached Wang Zheng. It was very dangerous actually. Everything seemed calm, but Wang Zheng was surrounded by power surges. There was a huge resistance, but that didn't seem to hinder Aina's progress at all. She integrated with it, as natural as the river flowing into the sea.

Wang Zheng and Aina danced around with that feeling. Their hands linked. That beautiful scenery became more harmonious because of them.

In the wooden house in the distance, Yan Xiaosu was using the telescope function of the Skylink. Tears streamed down his eyes. Tyrant Su didn't know what was wrong with him, but he couldn't help but cry. They were finally together after so many difficulties. Kashawen insulting them and the difference in their statuses were difficult to overcome. He had gone through a few relationships himself and had been looked down upon before. However, everyone was different. He knew Wang Zheng's temper and was sure things would be alright.

He was happier for Wang Zheng than for his own marriage. Lan Ling was at his side. She kicked him. "My turn!"

Lan Ling's Skylink wasn't as powerful as Tyrant Su;s. His was a limited edition, model 117 made of platinum, boosting a lot of functions.

She didn't understand why, but she felt that the scene was so beautiful even though her heart was breaking. Though it was a fact that she couldn't beat Aina. "Say, does Aslan have a one husband many wives rule? I don't know if Aina minds or not, but I can be the mistress."

There was no strict one man, one wife law on Tita since the planet was relatively backwards still. This was encouraged. The Lan family themselves was a huge family. Polygamy and polyandry both existed and often determined their status in the family.

Yan Xiaosu grinned. "Then you can consider me, I don't mind."

"But I mind!" Lan Ling glared at Yan Xiaosu in reply.

Tyrant Su rubbed his nose. I'm quite handsome as well, just slightly chubby and not the Greatest King.

Wang Zheng and Aina were immersed in their own world. "I actually harbored ill intentions the very first time I picked you up," Wang Zheng said as he squeezed her hand.

"Really, you are really bad then." Aina smiled gently.

"Aina, no matter whether you are the Princess or just a girl, I'll always be by your side protecting you, no matter the challenges we face. Marry me."

Wang Zheng had mustered all his courage for this moment, which was no less than when he was in the SIG competition.

Aina's eyes turned red. Her thin, long hand caressed Wang Zheng's face. "No matter whether you are the Greatest King or just a normal Earth boy, I'll only love you throughout my life."

"You can kiss now. I pronounce you husband and wife!" Yan Xiaosu said, dancing afar.

Wang Zheng and Aina were interlocked in each other's arms. Yan Xiaosu was crying hard. How many times could one witness such feelings? Yan Xiaosu knew he wouldn't be able since he was very content with his current situation. However, he really admired his brother. They had to be happy after going through so much. Everything else could just go to hell, people were alive to be happy!

Yan Xiaosu pulled Lan Ling away. "Let's go."

"Go? We have something to say, right?"

"Next time. The sky won't fall, and there are never-ending amounts of things to do. Humans should try to enjoy themselves when they can. Today is an important day for my boss. Let them be alone. What a pity. I wanted to be the best man originally," Yan Xiaosu said, a little regretfully.

Zhang Shan sneezed a dozen times consecutively at Elite Academy X. He seemed to have missed out on something important.

Wang Zheng and Aina didn't mind the form of the ceremony. They decorated their house with fresh flowers and tidied up their room. Wang Zheng then brought Aina all over Ling Mountain and waited for night to come. This was a ceremony only for them, with only nature and the universe as witnesses.

Chapter 1356: Consummation

Dinner was the fish that Wang Zheng caught in the river and some meat hunted during the day. Tita was similar to Earth in many ways. The Titans were also similar to humans, other than their size. Aina was filled with laughter throughout the day, and excitement grew as night fell.

When Wang Zheng shut the door and Aina couldn't hear anything but her beating heart. They nearly went ahead with it a few times previously, which could have been hormones. But today, Aina had thought it over carefully and had decided.

More awkwardly, Wang Zheng, the Greatest King, was a little excited and nervous. This feeling wasn't easy to describe, but he was a little at a loss. All these negative feelings stopped once he saw Aina. You didn't need to think about anything else when the most beautiful girl in the world was in front of you.

Aina stood up gradually. The moonlight outside was so chaste. The moon of Tita was bigger and further. It was visually impactful and beautiful, but was nothing compared to the interior of the cabin.

Aina had a simple Tita style white dress. She bit her lip and gently peeled the dress off, revealing a body so beautiful that it could make one suffocate. Wang Zheng couldn't believe his eyes, because Aina was even more perfect now.

Wang Zheng took off his clothes, his muscular figure on full display. His daily training wasn't in vain and was integrated with nature. He also boosted a perfect body.

Aina was a girl after all. This was the maximum she could do, her expression of love and dedication to her lover.

Wang Zheng carried Aina and the two of them experienced the most intensive skin contact for the first time. That soft, silky, satin-like skin seemed to experience an electric current while rubbing along Wang Zheng's rough skin. The sensation made her go numb and weak.

They only had this feeling because they had waited and persisted for five years.

Wang Zheng put Aina on the bed gently and her legs clamped tight. She was fully prepared but was still nervous. This was instinct.

Wang Zheng started kissing Aina from her forehead. Bit by bit, Aina's body trembled with the kisses. Her white cheeks flushed and her body became more tense. Wang Zheng smiled. Aina's nervousness made him relax instead.

Wang Zheng pulled Aina's hand away gently and parted her pair of fair, long legs. It was the moment he had been waiting for…

After a cry of pain and happiness, they finally became one. They would be together forever.

Wang Zheng was doing his best to control himself at the beginning, but he let loose nearer the end. The moon had hidden itself away. There was only the sound of wind, as though they were cheering the love birds on.

Wang Zheng opened his eyes the next morning refreshed. He realized with surprise that his Primordial Regression Technique had crazy progress. The flow of his breath was seamless and that stream from before suddenly became a river. The abundance in power was hard to describe in words.

Wang Zheng did ask Charcoal if there was indeed something like dual cultivation. There was nothing like that actually. It was only because the harmony of yin and yang would achieve very good results. That was the basic principle of the five elements, he just never dreamt there would be such amazing results.

Wang Zheng's cultivation base was extraordinary and had been accumulating for quite some time. The integration with Aina had transformed it entirely. Of course, Aina's yin energy was rich and had the best constitution and gift. She had the essence of Aslan's heritage and the spiritual baptism in Atlantis. They were perfect for each other.

The Aina in his arms had little injuries here and there on her pure white body left inadvertently yesterday. Wang Zheng's heart ached when he saw them, but his heart lit up with passion immediately. She was such a little elf, Wang Zheng's lust couldn't be sated. He only stopped because he was worried about Aina.

Aina was still sleeping soundly, this time without any nightmares. Her beautiful lashes flicked from time to time, enhancing her beauty.

Wang Zheng stared at her like the fool in love he was. He had always considered himself lucky. He might have gone through a lot, but the experiences weren't bad. There was no gap between Aina and him from his own point of view. It was a different story in the eyes of the world, which was what fueled him when he gave her up previously. There was no need to mull it over. Of course, the wait made everything today more beautiful.

He kissed Aina gently and covered her well with the blanket. The beautiful Princess wrinkled her nose slightly. That cuteness made him hungry for her again.

He shut the door behind him. Wang Zheng wasn't clothed as he came to the lakeside. He spread his arms out. There were no barriers between him and nature. This was the best way for humans to integrate with the universe.

Ping…

Wang Zheng jumped into the lake. There weren't that many restrictions in Tita. The cold lake water didn't extinguish Wang Zheng's desire. Aina's allure was beyond this world. Wang Zheng was certain he was someone with strong determination, yet he couldn't control himself.

The fiery inner heart and the cold lake water made Wang Zheng exceptionally clear. Ability X existed because humans wanted to connect with the outer universe, while the inner universe was the power in humans themselves. This was the direction of physical techniques. Which was the right direction?

What about both?

That seemed to be on the minds of everyone, but was it possible?

Cultivation wasn't a two-way path, but enlightenment. One would only head in the right direction if they could understand.

Why was there a need to split the universe?

Human was the universe, the universe was human. That was the only reasonable explanation.

That was the mystery of "oneness."

Wang Zheng came out of the lake and sat by its edge. Ripples started spreading from underneath him. Wang Zheng was flashing as well. The vitality and pure elements of Tita no doubt made this the best place to gain enlightenment. In addition, his love story with Aina was finally complete. That put Wang Zheng into the best state.

Whoooosh~

A golden light radiated from Wang Zheng's body outwards and spread to the sky.

The giants of Ling Mountain were up. The Titans didn't have a habit of sleeping in. Many giants and wise ones noticed that a sun seemed to have appeared near where Ada was staying.

That golden ray of light was big and fuzzy. It wasn't dazzling, but it had unmatched strength and majesty, as though it was Tita.

One by one, the Titans started dropping to their knees and prostrating themselves to the direction of the miracle. This was a miracle given by Ada. They were believers before, but now, they had become devotees.

Chapter 1357: Consummation (Continued)

Shan Meng was filled with emotions. A miracle was finally descending on the Ling Mountain. That was their honor, this power, a supreme majesty that was integrated with nature. Only God could do it.

That was the same for the wise ones. They had a high level of understanding of spiritual power. This golden light was a fusion, and this was what they looked up to. The origin of life – not technology, but the true essence of life.

The news of the descent of the miracle spread like wildfire around Tita… Because the wise ones used the Skylink. Technology was pretty convenient. The giants were slowly accepting it, but the wise ones were proficient with it in no time.

Wang Zheng himself was refreshed. This enlightenment came at an interesting him, even better than when he was in battle. Of course, the current enlightenment could be a result of his past battles as well.

…Something was moving…

Wang Zheng grabbed that active guy on top of his head… It was a white fish. He let it live since it had witnessed his enlightenment.

Wang Zheng threw that fish back into the lake and let it go. He didn't notice that fish peering out of the water, nodding to Wang Zheng.

Wang Zheng didn't bother with it, but two hours passed by just like that. The Princess should be up by now.

He pushed the door open. Aina seemed to still be fast asleep. Wang Zheng smiled. Feigning sleep? That wouldn't do.

"Aiya, my dear Xiao Shi, why aren't you awake yet? I didn't have enough last night. It seems like I have to use a more thrilling way to wake you up," Wang Zheng said naughtily.

"No, no, I'm up!" Aina opened her eyes hurriedly.

"You dare bluff your hubby, that makes you guilty. Twice then!" Wang Zheng smiled.

"I surrendered last night, but you didn't let me off… Ah, what are you doing…" Aina gave Wang Zheng a death glare.

Sigh, Wang Zheng surrendered. One couldn't blame him, Aina was too tempting, he would not be able to get through the day without having her.

Half an hour went past like that. Aina fell in Wang Zheng's arms, completely weak and useless.

"My dear, do you want to eat?" Wang Zheng said as he held Aina. He was feeling like a beast, but that didn't raise any guilt in him. He was only human too.

Aina rolled her eyes at Wang Zheng. She didn't have any energy left, especially not to eat.

"I'll feed you," Wang Zheng said, knowing he was the cause of this.

This brunch was simply scrumptious.

Baby Xiao Shi laid in Wang Zheng's arms lazily after the food, enjoying the breeze from the lake. She really didn't want to do anything, nor did she have the strength to do anything anymore. Wang Zheng might not be the best sweet talker, but she wasn't fussy about it as long as he meant it.

The Princess might have heard all sorts of praises sung about her, but the crude efforts by her lover made her very happy. Some girls were naturally beautiful. Aina didn't put any makeup on. She had only brushed her hair and tied it up casually. The clothes were prepared by Lan Ling. they weren't branded, but the traditional wear of Tita. They suited the climate here very well. They were simple but looked branded when Aina wore them.

"Xiaosu prepared a welcome party for us, should we go?" Wang Zheng asked with a smile.

"Go, of course we should," Aina said. She was still weak, but she should be able to return back to normal at night… right?

"Don't push it. We can change the date if you really can't." Wang Zheng smiled naughtily.

"Isn't everything your fault?" Aina glared at Wang Zheng again. Wang Zheng was innocent, it could only be blamed on Aina for being too delicious for her own good.

They went at night. It was held at Ling Mountain. It was simple and was more of a gathering between old friends. The giants didn't attend. These events were usually attended by the wise ones, while they attended battles.

Yan Xiaosu, Lan Ling, Mu Sen, Ye Zisu, Zhao Elin, Jasper, Gabre, The war between Aslan and Arbiter was now the attention of the world. Jasper;s country, Lya Sphinx, had joined the war on the side of Aslan. Gabre's Maacah Republic had joined as well. The momentum of the coalition forces was great. The two countries wanted to profit from it. Of course, Gabre and Jasper weren't involved in such a big issue. However, it had been smooth, especially since the prices of resources soared after the war began. It was an unexpected windfall for the mining industry.

Some of the girls were already chatting away happily. Aina, Ye Zisu, and Lan Ling were relatively mild and got along well. Ye Zisu was no stranger to Aina in the first place. They were even closer now. Lan Ling and Zhao Elin weren't able to interject. Aina's involvement was very wide. She wasn't a figurehead princess, so the knowledge she possessed wasn't something normal people could rival.

Wang Zheng pulled Yan Xiaosu aside. "Find a time for me to meet Old Merchant. He didn't come and meet me."

Yan Xiaosu snickered. "Boss, Professor Alan found a new way to use the super-gravity energy ore and has been busy with it. This is connected to the defense of Tita. You probably have to push your personal affairs to later. We'll be scolded if we find him. Why don't you go to him yourself, even though I bet you are having the time of your life now."

"Are you itching for a beating? I guess so, eh? I haven't beaten you for the past few years since I was busy," Wang Zheng warned.

Yan Xiaosu backed away. "A gentlemen reasons with words, not fists. We're all adults. Shall we go with the former?"

It was still alright all those years back, now their combat power was 1 versus 10,000… Yan Xiaosu didn't want to take any chances.

"We have yet to conquer the universe, but that dream is half fulfilled." Yan Xiaosu couldn't help but smile as he looked at the girls chatting away. He liked this kind of atmosphere, not the rigid kind where he had to care about the way he held the wine glass.

"What do you mean?"

"Hehe, Boss, you understand." Yan Xiaosu elbowed Wang Zheng playfully. Conquering the Princess of the greatest empire was akin to conquering half of the world.

Jasper and Gabre brought a box of fruits in. They were all specialties from Tita. They really couldn't bear to leave now that they had gotten used to the lifestyle here. They were here most of the time, only leaving when business called for it. They had started other businesses here as well. Jasper was in real estate. The new immigrants demanded more facilities, and only the five big cities fulfilled their requirements. He developed real estate in the five big cities on one side and then added some bouquet hotels. Gabre, on the other hand, was constructing the support facilities they were lacking. The speed of development was beyond imagination due to the cheap labor and efficiency of the Titans.

Mu Sen was very clear about this. They had put in so much effort to ensure there was a balance between urban construction and the ecological environment. The humans kept their promises, so they would also keep theirs. The feeling was mutual.

Yan Xiaosu was initially worried about whether Aina could get along with them. It seemed like he was overly concerned. Aina's intelligence was proportionate to her beauty. She knew Wang Zheng valued his brothers and admired their relationship.

Chapter 1358: Struggling Subjects

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

In the Oracle Star, everything was in order under the control of the Elders.

Lear and Luo Fei's cases were continuously breaking previous records. Sharjah seemed to be living in the heaven he created every day. He was God in this isolated world, and could do anything he wanted to his own experiment.

Lear didn't get conceited because of the success. It was inevitable for it to be smooth so far. Their phagocytic ability played a huge role. This was one of the main reasons why he and Luo Fei had managed to come to this stage.

Lear would talk with Luo Fei when they took a rest out of the culture tank. They would discuss why they were more successful than the other subjects and what they had to do so that their bodies and minds could win through the processes of evolution.

"Boss, I think my absorption of the gene alteration fluid is reducing… If it wasn't for the phagocytic ability, I think I would've started to reject it." Luo Fei started sharing his own feelings.

Lear nodded. He had the same feeling, though not as obvious. This phase was at its limit. There would be no more transformation going forwards, just accumulation.

Discussions like today's were very important. Professor Sharjah would often join in to discuss the results. He would also systematically fine-tune the gene alteration fluid for the day after to better adapt to Lear and Luo Fei's evolution.

Today, however, Sharjah was not in sight.

The satisfied Luo Fei didn't feel anything. He actually felt like they had more freedom now that that old man wasn't here. Lear, however, smelled a slight anomaly. The current Oracle Star had its future fixed. The problems left behind by the Second Elder should have been cleared out by the Great Elder. After the clean up, the rest of the agendas to move forward the genetic fusion experiments had to be one of the top priorities.

Lear didn't expect Professor Sharjah not to appear even when they went back into the culture tank.

Sharjah only appeared in the afternoon the day after, when Lear and Luo Fei once again emerged from the culture tank. His face was dark, as though he was beaten.

The pain on his face was even more serious after he saw Lear. "The Great Elder wants to start the last phase of the experiment immediately…"

Sharjah's original plan was to continue this phase for another month to let Lear and Luo Fei become more adapted to the changes in their genes.

To the Saint, however, it wasn't important if Lear or Luo Fei were dead or alive. A pawn should be ready to be sacrificed any time. To the Great Elder, it was most important for him to obtain the data from these experiments. They were going to transform a whole army of countless soldiers. Adapt to the changes? Perhaps it would be necessary in the future; however, the subjects of the future might not have bodies as great as Lear and Luo Fei's. It was necessary to weaken them so that the data could be useful for future subjects.

Lear smiled. This was within his expectations. "Is there a problem?"

"From your data, no, but if we can give more time for the adaptation, even a week more, that would be…"

Sharjah's sentence hung in the mid-air when boom! The door to the laboratory was forced open. A fully armed team rushed in. Burrow shrieked and tried to block them but was pushed to the wall. A black muzzle was pressed against the back of his head. These soldiers were well seasoned. They got the whole laboratory under control in the blink of an eye.

Sharjah was livid. He stormed up to them fearlessly in an attempt to do something. "What are you doing!? Do you know where this is!?"

"Great Elder's orders. From this moment onwards, the laboratory is sealed. Prof Sharjah, please comply."

A hoarse voice coughed and the Thirteenth Elder came out from behind with a smile in his eyes and a strange aura. Lear frowned and pulled Luo Fei along back into their culture tank without a word.

Heaven-rank…

Lear rolled his fists as he laid in the culture tank, feeling his body absorb these foreign substances.

Lear fell asleep with heavy thoughts.

In the distant void.

Lear saw numerous space shuttles. This was a huge fleet.

It possessed a powerful, suffocating force. No doubt that it could conquer everything! Life, death, agriculture, civilization, and the end. It had the power to control everything.

It was for the king.

However, he wasn't the king of this mighty fleet. He was peering from the air.

He wasn't alone.

There was an aura from his back!

He desperately tried to turn back! But he couldn't!

Gasp!

Gulu, gulu…

He woke up in the culture tank filled with bubbles from his over-breathing.

Lear's heart sank not because of the dream, but because the fluid in the culture tank wasn't far from the water line. He had not completed the necessary absorption.

He had reached the limit of this phase.

This feeling wasn't good, especially after he saw the Thirteenth Elder yesterday…

He turned his head sharply towards a smiling face. He could see him, but Lear didn't sense his presence at all.

Lear felt crushed. The word "Heaven-rank" appeared in his mind again, like a huge, unconquerable mountain.

The Thirteenth Elder looked at the experiment quietly. Ambition? He didn't care, neither would his master. It wasn't even important whether or not Sharjah was loyal. What was important was whether or not they still had value.

"You had a dream."

Gulu, Lear took a deep breath and the bubble escaping from his respiration floated up.

"I really envy you. We haven't dreamt for a long, long time. Do you know that feeling? Sleep's like chewing wax when you have no dreams, but nonetheless something you have to do."

Lear's eyes flashed.

"You're curious why I'm telling you this?"

The Thirteenth Elder asked, but he didn't give him an explanation. "Be prepared, the final stage is starting imminently."

A powerful sedative was shot directly into Lear's veins. The cold liquid quickly took his consciousness away. That bone-chilling despair… He turned his head unconsciously, the eyelids of his tired eyes falling fast. He saw Luo Fei being injected with the same sedative, but he was fast asleep and didn't react much.

Strangely, Lear calmed down.

He wasn't alone.

They were experimental subjects from the beginning. Lear knew this a long time ago. However, he wasn't about to give up. He could only make the people who looked down on him feel regret when he was alive! No matter who it was!

Chapter 1359: Obsession In The Fog

The laboratory had been refitted overnight. Lear and Luo Fei's culture tanks were pushed into the most central transformation equipment.

At this moment, the fluid in the culture tank was completely replaced with a special genetic supplement fluid.

"Z1084 generation genetic fluid. Theoretically, their transformation rate could keep up with the biological energy required for evolution."

The Thirteenth Elder stood behind the Great Elder on the second floor of the experiment observation room, explaining the steps of the experiment. The Great Elder didn't have the time to wait for them to take their time, since there were only two experimental subjects. The only thing still of interest to the Great Elder was that Lear was one of those in the prophecy.

In the laboratory below, Sharjah was carrying out the final phase through the use of a robotic surgical arm. He injected Lear and Luo Fei with the solutions.

Cut open and filled in with numerous nano robots working tirelessly. This was the highest level of biotechnology.

Sharjah took all the procedures seriously. This was the first time he reached the final phase, and this was the deciding moment for success or failure.

The Great Elder looked on icily. Success or failure mattered not to him. He wanted to see the results. Was the special power truly the key to this experiment? Nothing much could capture his attention as a Heaven-rank warrior.

Sharjah took every step of the operation seriously. Every injection was carefully calibrated. He tweaked the way he operated through the data displayed on the instruments.

Both Lear and Luo Fei's minds were stable in the culture tanks. Everything went smoothly. The preparations from before had shown their effects now. The perfect combination of Zerg and human genes, perfect construction of the double helix.

Sharjah's face eased. The most difficult stage had passed. The place where the divergence had the highest chance of happening didn't happen. This should be owing to the phagocytic ability of Lear and Luo Fei. Not only that, their wills were very strong. This fusion was equivalent to the transformation of the soul, which was why the experiment subject's will was really important.

What was left was the moment of transformation. Everything was ready for the quantitative leap, the magical step!

The instruments monitoring the subjects suddenly flashed in red just as Sharjah's assistant wiped the sweat off his forehead.

"Abnormal reaction.

"Life force is depleting fast."

Burrow, who was in charge of life force monitoring, shouted with panic in his voice. Lear and Luo Fei's life stats were falling like a landslide. It was like an avalanche.

"Another dose of Z1084!"

"Injecting V9 adenine!"

Sharjah issued an order quickly. Burrow completed the steps in an instant. The rapid depletion of life was alleviated, but it didn't solve anything!

The change in Lear and Luo Fei's original skin color was dying and could be seen by the naked eye!

Why was this happening?!

Horror floated onto Sharjah's face. No, no, it shouldn't be this way. Everything should have gone smoothly. There was no adaptive time needed, which was the most difficult part, and it was executed perfectly just now…

What had gone wrong?

"Professor! There's no production of the special protease. There are still two sets of mechanisms, one set of Zerg genes, and one set of human genes."

Burrow shrieked. These results could only mean one thing.

Everything was for the ultimate fusion. Only a perfect fusion could give birth to a perfect new species. If not, it would just be a half-human monster, a downright failure!

Lear tossed around in pain in the culture tank. His body had begun to change. His chest and abdomen began shrinking sharply, followed by his head shrinking and then expanding. Theory was theory after all. This was the last step in human engineering, where no one had ventured before.

There were many words to describe pain, but this pain was indescribable. It originated from the core of his cells, from his genes.

It wasn't transmitted through his nerves, so there was no way of stopping it. Lear could feel the effects of the sedative disappearing from his body. He couldn't hear, but he could feel Burrow and Sharjah's despair. It was a pitch black feeling, the kind of fear that would engulf him if he was alone in the darkness.

Despair was an emotion that could spread.

It was over, it failed.

So tired. He could feel every cell in his body vibrating, succumbing to death. He had no chance of being a monster at the very last stage.

It was over. He had tried, he had given his all; perhaps it was time for him to let go. So tired, he just wanted to throw everything away.

Why had he come to this stage? At this moment between life and death, at the very moment where he wanted to give up, Lear suddenly lost himself. What was all this for?

His path had been taken away by someone else. He had no other path to go to.

Yes, why did he not have a path?

NO!!!!!!

"Im Lear, I'm Lear, I'm Lear, I'm Lear!!!"

What was his purpose for living, his purpose for fighting, his purpose for bending, and his purpose for change?

It was because he was Lear!

Not for his family, not for honor, only for himself. The unique Lear. He had to live even as a monster.

Even if he became a dog, or an ugly monster, he had a chance as long as he was alive!

SMACK…

A rippled broke out from within the tank.

The clear sky of the Holy City was suddenly covered with dark clouds. Lighting struck and the air became heavy. Those in the trial for the Son of Saint suddenly felt… repulsive. It was as though something had just risen out of hell like never before.

Lear's will was separated from the pain, floating, like a soul with the wind into the fog. Direction?

He had never been lost. Now, there was nothing more to lose.

Bang…

The culture tank burst open!

A ripple went through the expressionless Great Elder's eyes, a strange smile played on his lips.

The Saint had invested a lot into this heresy technology. There were hundreds of them, but were generally all child's play. This time, however, the Saint seemed to have made something different.

Chapter 1360: I Have to Survive Even If I Have to Live Like a Dog

Sharjah's desperate expression was still on his face until he saw Lear, connected by many cables, walking out of the broken culture tank.

His perfect shape exuded a sense of charm. Sharjah's face changed. No one else could have more complicated feelings than him. He had succeeded. He had created history, the new era of humanity. He was comparable to God!

"This is incredible!" Burrow stared at the monitor with shock. Lear's genes had not merged as they designed, but a change had occurred and a completely different one had emerged. The genes were no longer the same as those of humans, yet he had retained his human appearance. He obviously couldn't be called a human now.

This is a miracle! No, it's God's work!"

Sharjah held his fist up and looked up at the control room on the second level. The Thirteenth Elder had disappeared, to his surprise.

"Teacher, they are snatching our experiment data!" Burrow bellowed in anger, but he didn't dare to stop them. The place where the muzzle was yesterday was still swollen.

Sharjah smiled. "Let them take all they want, those are not important!"

The last stage was almost impossible to succeed. His calculations had gone wrong. The Zerg genes were completely different from human genes. In conclusion, it involved a higher concept of bioengineering — the branding on life. These two races could not fuse through genes alone. It would eventually fail.

Lear's success was obviously because something unexpected had happened. There were factors that were unable to be explained, other than emotions, physical situation, and the like. No matter what, Lear was a success, which meant that Sharjah had succeeded. This was the goal of his life. The rest was not important. A mad scientist only cared about results. He lived his life only for this moment.

Lear wasn't too bothered about his current status because he realized that that idiot Luo Fei was in a very bad state!

More than two thirds of Luo Fei's body had rotted away. If not for the genetic supplement fluid continuously repairing his body, he would probably be gone by now. The visual impact was extremely revolting. Luo Fei would be completely dead if this were to go on.

Luo Fei knew he was beyond hope. The only thing that kept his consciousness was his desire to see Lear succeed. He really didn't have much ambition, nor did he have that much power. However, he couldn't die before Lear. That was his only goal in life.

He saw Lear through his infinite pain. Their eyes met and Lear smiled with all his remaining strength concentrated on his facial muscles. He didn't know that the meat on his face was rotten and his smile was as scary as that of a devil.

Lear could read his expression and see his emotions. That final light in that darkness was actually concern from Lear… That made Lear feel a little strange and scared.

Luo Fei smiled, his heart at peace. Death was a kind of release, he could go now.

Luo Fei felt that he could finally rest after seeing Lear standing up like a god…

Sharjah shook his head as he looked at Lear. He could understand that Lear had gotten to where he was partly because of Luo Fei. Humans were very strange creatures. They were selfish and evil but also extremely afraid of loneliness and needed support. Lear was such a person. An extremely lonely person who would rather betray the whole world than have the world betray him.

Luo Fei closed his eyes. They said that a movie reel would roll when a person was dying. Luo Fei wanted to know what was his. He hoped that they would be filled with happy memories, and perhaps there would be a lot of good food?

"Idiot, open your eyes. You cannot die without my order!"

Peng! His heart trembled fiercely. Luo Fei felt every cell in his body exploding in his infinite pain. The strange thing was that he shouldn't have been able to hear anything, but Lear's voice had traveled into his remaining consciousness, inexplicably clear.

Luo Fei wanted to protest. Boss, I'm already dead, what else could you do to me? He forced his eyes open anyway.

At that very moment, the dead cells in his body seemed to spring to life. Luo Fei's burning hot body cooled down and the statistics were changing.

A sound of broken strings from an instrument rang in Luo Fei's mind. He seemed to have established a connection with Lear at that instant.

Burrow, who had been staring faithfully at the monitoring equipment, suddenly shouted, "The genes f-f-fused!"

What!?

Sharjah rushed over and pushed Burrow away, gluing his eyes onto the equipment.

This was simply… The life of a human was so weak, yet it could survive???

Luo Fei's situation was much worse than Lear's, but he was still alive at least. His body was showing a positive response.

Lear glanced at Luo Fei. He could already feel a strong murderous intent lingering in the air.

He knew very clearly that Constantine wanted only results, not him. He wasn't out of danger.

Constantine was already in front of Lear before he realized. The Great Elder had a slight smile on his face, seemingly satisfied and looking at Lear with interest.

In the next moment, Lear was already on one knee and bowing his head down respectfully. "My respects to Your Majesty Constantine."

Constantine's gaze floated to Sharjah and he smiled. "You know quite a bit, eh."

"It's my greatest honor to be of service to the great Aslan!" Lear's voice had no hint of hesitation.

"Hehe, you are an ambitious and clever little fellow," Constantine said, still with a face full of smiles and satisfaction with Lear. Lear, however, didn't dare to let up.

"Tell me, what abilities do you have now?" Constantine stood in front of Lear with no consideration for defense. Lear could just reach out and push his hand into Constantine's chest, but Lear had no such intention.

Lear raised his head and clapped his hands. Before long, a messy burst of sounds were heard. A few Abyssal Zergs barged into the laboratory fiercely. The Thirteenth Elder stopped the soldiers from reacting.

Three Zergs came to Lear and prostrated themselves like docile dogs.

Constantine smiled and clapped. "Not bad, interesting. Sharjah, you've done well. If this goes well, does it mean I can have an army that can control the Abyssal Zergs?"

The Emperor's heart was with Aslan. The Abyss was definitely a problem for the future Aslan.

After the banquet, everyone knew better than to disturb Wang Zheng and Aina. The international situation was very tense. This was the time when danger and opportunities co-existed. Yan Xiaosu and Ye Zisu didn't want to miss out on this opportunity and therefore busied themselves with it.

Wang Zheng and Aina completely ignored the disputes of the outside world as they enjoyed this space of their own, breathing the air of freedom and love. Wang Zheng was in a great place since he was with Aina. He thought it might be short-lived, but he realized that he was immersed in it. Aina seemed to be constantly nourishing his state.

Aina had the same feeling ever since they joined their bodies. Her spiritual world had become clearer. She thought at first that it was because Tita was filled with nature and vitality. Of course, it was no longer the natural state when she felt the breath of nature.

She could feel the trees beckoning her, the wind praising her beauty, and the welcoming earth, overflowing with vitality and nourishing her body. Everything was so intimate. Tita really liked her.

This was an important manifestation towards the spirit according to the Atlanteans. In actual fact, the Atlanteans had proved that it was unrealistic, that the pure spirits couldn't exist. However, the spiritual realm was supreme and able to magnify power to an incredible state. Aina was the miracle of humans, this power had just been sealed away. She could have broken through if she was a warrior faced with constant life and death. The Atlanteans felt it would be difficult for her to achieve it in her normal life. Aina concurred. She herself wasn't very eager to explore that mysterious power, nor did she have much ambition. She felt that a person with too much power would ignore the weak. It wouldn't be something good to cultivate as someone who was going to rule over Aslan's future.

She had broken through unexpectedly, obviously because of "that". Aina reddened. Having a breakthrough because of that was simply too embarrassing, but this intimacy with nature felt really good.

"Dear Xiao Shi, I feel your ability is really special. You are the second one that I've seen with such an ability." Wang Zheng smiled. He already had keen insight now that he had crossed the threshold of Heaven-rank.

"Oh, who's the first? Tell me so that I can get to know her. Don't worry, I won't be jealous!" Aina said.

"That can't do. I'll be jealous. That guy's the typical tall, rich, and handsome type. He has been snatching my limelight ever since we met each other." Wang Zheng shook his head violently.

"I don't believe it. Don't tease me. You are the Greatest King, the leader of Saruman Snake, who dares to snatch your limelight?" Aina smiled.

"Xie Yuxin has greater innate ability than me. I just don't know what he's thinking most of the time," Wang Zheng said gently.

Aina laid in Wang Zheng's arms. "Don't be too worried. Your friends are outstanding and have their own lives to lead. They will make the right decisions."

"Haha, I've been seen through by you. My mistake. Xiao Shi, shall we play a game?"

"Sure, but that's quite difficult. I'm smarter than you, but you are stronger than me physically. How can we play so that it's fair?" Aina smiled playfully, with an I'm-not-afraid-of-you stance.

"I'm the student of Alan Tucker after all. Moreover, as an upright man, how can I take advantage of you!"

"Hmph, you've taken all the advantage of me, how dare you deny it!"

Wang Zheng felt the beast in him awaken as he stared at his love. He knew Aina was teasing him, but a real man couldn't give up. How could he be looked down upon by the woman he loved?

"We'll compete in swimming without using our abilities, in cooking, and in drawing. The one who wins two rounds wins!" Wang Zheng smiled. He just wanted to see Aina in her swimsuit Aina in water was even more alluring.

"Drawing? How are we going to compete?"

"Simple, you draw me and I draw you. Whoever draws better wins. Of course, we shouldn't be burdened in these beautiful surroundings, we should be as natural as possible!"

Aina finally knew what he was gunning for…

In the Oracle Star, someone who had really become a beast was kneeling on the ground with a peaceful and devout expression.

Sharjah nodded. "Great Elder, the success rate of copying is not high. I divided the experiment into two stages. The first stage needed young and vigorous bodies of no more than thirty with strength above the Earth-rank. They also had to have wood properties and an outstanding phagocytic ability. A balance must be struck between Ability X and the person's physical techniques – only then is it possible to pass the first stage. There's a critical point here, that is the subjects have to possess a strong desire to become a new species. The second stage involves the branding on life. This is in the field of bioengineering at least a hundred years away from our current technology. The rough estimate of the success rate is about 1 in 100,000."

Constantine started at Sharjah unblinkingly, judging whether he was telling the truth. The Thirteenth Elder nodded. This was tantamount to eliminating the chances of their transformation. The odds of 1 in 100,000, a ridiculous ratio. However, it was really difficult to find people who met all the criteria. Only these two weirdos were voluntary.

Constantine stared at the Abyssal Zergs and then turned towards Lear. "Give me a reason to allow you to live."

Sharjah's body trembled. The moment of life and death had arrived. Constantine only gave Lear such a chance because of what he had said. If not, he would have been dead. A newborn Lear was definitely no match for Constantine.

Lear smiled without any fear. "A king is great not because of his own strength, but because he knows how to use his pawns. I'm a monster, a monster that doesn't want to be known by others. The great Aslan Empire wants to conquer the Milky Way Alliance and the Abyss, and even what's beyond the Milky Way. I can be a vanguard and a shadow. I can do things that Aslan cannot do openly as long as you give me a chance. I know very well that a monster can never appear in the light."

Lear's words were contradictory but very clear. He might have become a monster, but he didn't want others to know about it. He still desired the life of a normal human, but the Milky Way Alliance would never allow a monster to exist. This was a dead knot, so Lear's fate was in the hands of Aslan. His ability to control the Zergs was indeed special, which could be of great use in the future. For example, sneaking the Zergs behind the enemies.

Constantine wasn't moved. "What do you want?"

As the Emperor, he obviously knew there was no love or hate without reason in this world.

Lear's eyes showed a hint of remorse and even anger. "I want the Solar System, I want those who looked down on me to regret!"

Lear's expression was savage and uncharacteristic of him. The murderous intent was exposed from his body, and his body became somewhat deformed. He seemed to have gotten a little out of control. Constantine gently pressed him and his murderous intent dissipated instantly.

Lear shuddered and squatted. "Your Majesty, I wasn't trying to be disrespectful to you…"

Constantine smiled. "I understand. Remember your words today. I've given you a new chance at life. Your life is the Aslan Empire's. Sharjah, you'll service Lear from henceforth. Awaken his complete power as soon as you can."

"Yes, Great Elder," Sharjah squealed in excitement. He could do it as long as he had resources.

"Thank you for giving me this chance. I'll bring Wang Zheng in front of you once I have the power to. To kill him is my greatest wish!"

Constantine smiled in response. "I await that day." He knew that Wang Zheng had taken everything Lear had. Of course, those weren't Lear's in the first place, but Lear wasn't one to think that way. That was why he was so bigoted, and such people put him at ease when using them.

Lear continued kneeling on the ground until the Great Elder and the Thirteenth Elder were gone. No one could see his face, which was so calm…

That spur of the moment just now was just to reinforce to Constantine that he was a monster and was easy to control…

Chapter 1362: Crippled Strategist

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

Wang Zheng and Aina's days in Tita were filled with passion and laughter. Of course, the love birds hardly left their love nest during the first few days. Wang Zheng couldn't keep his paws off Aina. Her Highness the Princess was certain that this person wasn't human. She really couldn't take it in the long run, so she got Wang Zheng to go out during the day to spend his energy and help the Saruman Snake army, fulfilling his duty as Ada. Meanwhile, Aina started learning crafts from the girls of the wise ones.

The girls of Tita were nimble with their hands, the exact opposite of their counterparts. The female wise ones were very gentle, and most of the immigrants desired to marry them. Of course, the female giants weren't as popular unless they were into S&M.

The entire Tita had unparalleled respect for Aina. They called Aina "Celestial Being." Only the Celestial Being deserved Ada. Aina was worthy of the title with regards to her appearance, temperament, and identity. Aina's warm and easygoing nature gave the tribe in Ling Mountain the highest glory.

The giants had a problem similar to humans. They were prideful, simple, and direct. Respect them and they would do the same, belittle them and there would be a direct confrontation.

Such situations were slightly better in the city. Every giant that entered the city had to accept the laws of the city. Similarly, every human who settled into tribes had to follow the customs of Tita.

The Saruman Snake army was the elite legion of Tita, with a force of ten thousand. They were elites chosen by the conventional giant army. All of them were qualified to bear the silver emblem of the Saruman Snake, the utmost honor. To the Titans, to be able to enter the legion established by Ada meant they were warriors. This small emblem made countless giants try their best to enter. The elimination system was rather strict. They had to duel every two matches. Those with weaker performance were eliminated.

On the one hand, it could ensure the quality of the Saruman Snake Legion. On the other hand, it gave the giants more opportunities to fight and learn.

Amongst the ten thousand, one thousand of them had gold Saruman Snake emblems. They were the captains and warriors of tribes. They were automatically considered as the strongest in their respective tribes. There were countless tribes in Tita. This system solved the problem of a lack of unified standard previously experienced.

Another 100 of them had crystal clear diamond emblems made from super-gravity energy ore. They were the Titan Guards led personally by Rara Durai, the most powerful force in Tita. Every giant was not only gifted, but had also mastered the 64 point breathing technique. They could borrow the power from the heavens and earth, and the resulting combat power was earth-shattering.

Previously, the giants weren't convinced of each other's abilities. Ever since Ada passed down the power of God, everyone here knew knew the power within.

Normal warriors learned the 16 Point Cultivation Techniques, team leaders learned the 32 Point Cultivation Techniques, while the Guards learned the 64 Point Cultivation Techniques. The giants had a different constitution from humans, so 64 Point Cultivation Techniques were near their limits. Only a few, such as Rara Durai and Mu Zhen, were able to learn the 128 Point Cultivation Techniques. Of course, the power they could unleash was not something humans could go against.

Martial techniques were taught to all giants. Mu Sen sent people to every tribe to impart them. The wise ones were cultivating as well, though they focused on broadening their spiritual power.

The training of the Saruman Snake Army wasn't original. Mu Sen had learned the way humans fought through his experiences to set up such a management. Discipline and regular battles were what kept the giants' tempers in check.

Everyone could challenge their team leader. The team leaders could also challenge any of the guards. The challenger could replace the challenged if they were to win. Power was necessary amongst the giants. Command was naturally the responsibility of the wise ones.

Wang Zheng was watching the Guards' training. These 100 were the elites of the elites. That heroic combat power was really different. The talent and vitality in the giants were not something humans could rival. The power from these 100 giants could almost rival the Earth-rank warriors. Of course, their cultivation base was slightly worse, but Wang Zheng could feel that these giants were being enlightened. They focused all their energy on training once they were given the chance. Their improvement put humans to shame. The giants treated every battle seriously.

"Boss, the new armor designed by Zisu is quite good. I'm not boasting, but I think our giant army can compete with the elites of any country." Yan Xiaosu couldn't fight himself, but his blood boiled watching the scene.

Wang Zheng smiled. "Not to that extent. Giant armor?"

Ye Zisu nodded. "It can be said to be a simple mech as well. The normal armors are too thin, the original mecha are too bulky, so I designed an armor for them with super gravity ore and G-material so that they could make the best use of their combat power. I've observed the armies of many countries recently, but none of them could compare to ours. This innate gift and enthusiasm for training, we can definitely build a first-class army."

Wang Zheng didn't deny this. The combat power of the giants was outstanding. They would definitely be able to defend themselves as long as they could keep up with technology. The special condition of Tita made up for the parts lacking by the army. Even if the enemy were to control the air, they would still have to air-drop armored units. Space weapons had no place here. There was no need to think about planet-destroying weapons. It was currently forbidden by the Milky Way Alliance and was the bottom line of humanity.

"How's the situation outside?" Wang Zheng was so happy these days that he didn't even bother with international events.

"Arbiter did suffer a rather huge blow. When the portal opened, Arbiter seized the initiative to attack, but they underestimated the coalition forces. Their fleet suffered considerable damage and they gave up on a planet. Their strategy was average, and while they had good forces, their thoughts were a little too naive for the coalition forces. Their commander-in-chief, Brahm, was facing a crisis. If not for the fact that they were afraid it would harm the morale of the forces, he would have been forced to leave," Yan Xiaosu said as he licked his lips. He didn't really care about this war, truth to be told. If Aslan won, they probably wouldn't be too hard on Tita because of Aina.

Ye Zisu nodded. "The current commander of the army is the trusted strategist Ren Yixuan."

"Don't talk about it. I don't know if the Arbiters have gone mad or what. How could they get a cripple to be the commander? Mad!" Yan Xiaosu shook his head.

"Cripple?" Wang Zheng was taken aback too. He had never heard of this person either. He thought Mars would be put into an important position since he had strong family backing as well.

"That's true, I don't know if there isn't anyone else suitable in Arbiter. Why did they get such a guy to manage the overall situation? I think we're near destruction." Yan Xiaosu shrugged helplessly. One family monopolizing everything… probably wasn't something good. Wang Zheng and Aina were in an awkward situation now. If Kashawen suddenly had the energy, only God knew what storm would blow their way. Yan Xiaosu knew this in his heart, but he didn't want to add on to the worries of the lovers.

Ye Zisu glared at Tyrant Su. "Don't listen to his rubbish. This person is famous in Arbiter. His legs are not too good because of genetic issues and he is indeed discriminated against in terms of martial arts. However, he won the title of Brahma's Thorn through his intelligence. His performance has been excellent throughout his time in military school and tactical exercises."

"He definitely has talent to be able to get there; however, these were all tactics on paper. Arbiter wants to rival the coalition forces but has suffered losses. I really don't believe this guy could have any other tricks. Why could one with no strength balance the entire battlefield?" Yan Xiaosu said.

Brahma's Thorn. He might be from the Van family. Wang Zheng had never felt that a good general had anything to do with one's personal force. However, it seemed to be rather difficult to win with the current situation. If Arbiter were to lose…

It would be a lie to say that he wasn't worried. Destroying the Arbiter Republic was only the first step to the Aslan Empire. The key thing here was to strengthen themselves so that if there was an off-chance of battle, Tita and him would be able to face it calmly.

Wang Zheng's eyes were filled with energy when his thoughts landed here. Life in the future may be more difficult, but they had to live to their fullest every day.

"Wang Zheng, man has but one life, grass sees but one spring, we have to live it well. Tita is no longer that fragile planet from all those years back. We are united and we have the power to maintain our peace. That's the only way to make ourselves stronger!" Ye Zisu could see through Wang Zheng and firmed his thoughts.

The silent Rara Durai nodded. "Ada, the Titans aren't afraid of death, nor are we afraid of power. We were born to fight. Ada's enemies are the enemies of all of the Titans."

Rara Durai wasn't stupid. He had a better understanding of the international situation through the years of training. Mu Sen would also keep him informed. Whether Arbiter won or lost, this war was not going to end easily. This was not something Tita could decide, but Tita could make themselves stronger.

Wang Zheng patted Rara Durai and faced the troop. "Who will fight me!?"

The place quietened down. The giants were very disciplined. Honor made the giants great at learning war tactics, but none volunteered.

"Who will fight me!?" Wang Zheng's voice seemed to loom from the sky and echoed throughout the area.

It was the greatest respect to the giants that Wang Zheng was willing to fight with them. Humans couldn't comprehend the Titans since they wanted money and fame. To the brave warriors of Titan, battle was the greatest honor.

And to exchange blows with Ada, that would be the ultimate honor. In the words of humans, they would be able to boast for a lifetime.

"Titan Guards, step forward!" Rara Durai cried out.

The giants with diamond Saruman Snake emblems stepped out. Everyone's eyes were filled with fire. They desired to be selected. They would be happy even if they battled to death. Those who didn't qualify clenched their fists. They were eager for such an opportunity and now desired the diamond emblem like crazy.

"Ada, I think it's better if you chose," Rara Durai said.

Wang Zheng smiled and moved his arms. "From today on, I'll come here every day. Anyone who could withstand my attacks for a few seconds, I'll personally impart stronger techniques to you. Rara, ten on one!"

"Yes, Ada!" Rara Durai didn't hesitate. The giants didn't understand, they knew only to obey, especially when it was someone as god-like as Wang Zheng.

"First row, come forth, second row, be ready to fight with all your might!"

The Titan Guards were undoubtedly the strongest amongst the giants. Wang Zheng had absorbed the essence of countless battles and was now in a great place after being one with Aina. He needed such battles.

The giants obviously respected Wang Zheng, but there were not many giants here who fought with Wang Zheng. Most of them were sacrificed in the war. The new giants who replaced them knew about it but had never seen with their own eyes. Battling 100 Titan Guards simultaneously… This… Was it possible?

No one knew their strengths and weaknesses better than Wang Zheng. He didn't intend to use too much technique. This was also a breakthrough for himself, by using his pure power.

The first giant rushed over rapidly in good rhythm. The combination of momentum and technique used were quite good. They used their huge bodies to lock Wang Zheng in one spot, refusing to give Wang Zheng a chance to move. The others attacked from the sides.

Don't think that the giants would go easy on him. They viewed battles as sacred. The higher respect they conferred on their opponent, the more they would give it their all!

Mensa, one of the top ten in the Guards, used both his fists upon seeing Wang Zheng without defense. The life force of his whole body exploded in that instant.

This was definitely a destructive blow. The power formed a strong wind pressure. The current giants were no longer the barbarians they were before. They were now real masters!

However Wang Zheng… seemed to be stunned?

Mensa didn't show any mercy. All his power exploded from within.

Bang…

Mensa felt as though his body had hit a meteorite and fell senseless. His body flew off.

Mensa flew over fifty meters into the sky when he hit Wang Zheng.

Wang Zheng started moving. He would rush in front of a giant every time, for them to see him before making his move.

Ping… Ping, ping, ping, ping, ping…

One by one, the giants who thought they were invincible flew off like volleyballs.

In a matter of moments, ten giants were defeated. Wang Zheng had controlled his strength very well. One punch to destroy their defenses, but not powerful enough to hurt them too badly. They, of course, didn't escape scratches.

This was within Rara Durai's expectations. "Second row, forward! The third row, be ready!"

The first row had lost badly, but that only made the warriors even more excited and mad. They even started to rack their brains and used battle formations.

Nonetheless, Wang Zheng was going to teach them a good lesson today while establishing his position. Not only did he have the title of Ada, but he had to use his own strength to convince the Titans to completely trust him. Only then could this army possess stronger cohesion and combat effectiveness.

Boom, boom, boom, boom…

The surrounding giants cheered and urged, supporting both sides. This was their favorite scene.

Giants flew one by one. Their joint combat power was rather rich by now, but their opponent was Wang Zheng. However, they didn't have much actual combat experience. Wang Zheng was also gauging the giants' combat power. The latter ones were obviously more cautious and more aware of the use of their strengths. This was a very good sign.

Chapter 1364: Man Up!

After 60 odd giants, Wang Zheng suddenly felt that the difficulty increased. They seemed to be learning how to resist him. Their joint attacks got sharper. Their bodies might be huge, but after learning physical techniques, their agility and speed improved vastly.

Finally, cheers roared as the last giant fell. This was power. Wang Zheng's body felt light again. Battles like these were great for warm-up.

"Power is superficial. When practicing and training, pay attention to the integration of comprehension and nature. Break in and find your own way."

Wang Zheng explained in a manner that wasn't very fierce, though the giants could hear clearly nonetheless. There was an alloy blade more than 50 meters tall in the middle of the training ground.

Wang Zheng came to the foot of the sword and focused. In an instant, the entire sword was clear and he pointed at it.

An atomic explosion!

There was no loud sound, but everyone felt it. Their jaws dropped. What?

They knew just how hard the alloy blade was. It was not something that could be destroyed by the body. There was no telling how many times a laser would have to be blasted before it could be dented, but Ada… What did this mean?

Was there some deep meaning to it?

A gust of wind blew. The golden dust from the alloy blade flew, as though it never existed.

The giants stared dumbfoundedly, hardly believing what was happening in front of their eyes.

Lusa~Lusa~Lusa~

This was the worship for the invincible warrior. The entire training ground had been greatly encouraged. The relatively more powerful giants saw the infinite possibilities of the future.

Wang Zheng didn't need them to understand it immediately. Rather, he wanted to broaden their vision and give them a higher target to chase after. The Titans wouldn't be limited by habits, and they wouldn't back down. They dared to challenge any superior realm.

Difficulty only enhanced their passion.

Yan Xiaosu knew from the fire in the giants' eyes that the teams would be easier to manage from here on. The problem was… Big Brother, did you know how much that blade cost? That was sold, that was really painful.

Wang Zheng and his lovey dovey days with Aina went by. They were discussing offsprings as well. They left it to fate, though Aina wanted two, ideally a boy and a girl. During the day, Wang Zheng led the giants in their training, battling, and long distance trekking. Tempering their strengths in this primitive natural world, blending with nature, and having no worries. This was the best state.

In the distant Arbiter Republic, a young man in a wheelchair was looking calmly at the constellation diagram.

The door slid open and Mars walked in and bowed respectfully. "General, you were looking for me."

The young man was Major General Ren Yixuan, the one whom the people of Arbiter had pinned their hopes on. Mars had the rank of colonel.

"Colonel Mars, are the preparations ready?"

"Your order has been carried out impeccably. We will do our best to follow your tempo!" Mars said seriously.

"Hehe, Lin Feng is a good opponent. Let's start with him at the first battle." Ren Yixuan smiled. "Don't be so tense, lest your strings break."

Mars' face twisted, but he really didn't know how to relax. The Arbiter soldiers obeyed their orders without question. The problem was that the enemy was too strong and the impending battle was tactical. Their participating space shuttles were mostly old. The battle with the coalition forces had to show they were weak for them to have a chance. Their defeats were all arranged. Of course, the losses were real, but the coalition forces would never understand the ruthlessness of the Arbiters.

After two such battles, the coalition forces and the whole Milky Way Alliance now felt like the Arbiters were easy to deal with.

However, this was all for Ren Yixuan's appearance. Mars didn't quite understand. To be exact, Ren Yixuan used to be really famous as a tactical genius, but he had been really quiet these last few years. It was obviously with some considerations that the military had brought him out all of a sudden, but what was their intention?

Even Mars, who was the core representative of the Van family, didn't understand, except that Lin Feng was the first target.

"Aslan will panic when we defeat Lin Feng. Once they panic, they will make mistakes."

Ren Yixuan, who had been regarded as the disgrace of Arbiter, seemed to have regarded the defeat of the coalition forces as a sure thing. However, war wasn't done through talking. If Arbiter were to lose another big battle, their strategy would have to change to that of complete defense.

The Sirius Star was one of the strongest countries of the Milky Way Alliance, but they weren't participating in the battle of the Milky Way Alliance. The Aslan Empire was strong enough and the Sirius Star was never their ally. They would only be regarded as ammunition if they joined, and they would obtain the least resources in the end. The Sirius Star was not prepared to do such an unfair trade.

They had other targets. Arbiter and the terrorist organization, what a joke. No one cared about that. What was important was that Aslan had the upper hand now, gaining power through chaos and grabbing the Thunder Alliance and the Heaven's Arrow Federation, which had huge resources. That was plainly to lay a solid foundation for the future.

The Sirius Star was nearly in the top ten strongest countries. Once Aslan defeated Arbiter, the other countries would be worried about Aslan. They would inevitably be united then, so under this premise, the Sirius Star had to seize the opportunity of the chaos to obtain the greatest advantage.

The fattest meat was undoubtedly Tita!

A planet without a basic space fleet and a group of barbarians guarding a super-gravity energy ore. This was simply a gift from God. It would be too late to wait until Aslan ended the war. They had to think about their own appetite even if they wanted to manipulate the international situation. They dared to swallow Arbiter, so they had to allow the other countries to take scraps at least. The other countries wouldn't be so foolish as to let Aslan grow too huge.

At this time, the bold ones would take it all. The Sirius Star and their mecha were ready. They weren't a group of savages or pirates. They were regulars of the Milky Way Alliance.

They only needed an opportunity now. If Arbiter would withstand Aslan's attacks, they would continue waiting. Conversely, if the reverse were to happen, the Sirius Star would strike immediately.

Everyone was waiting now, waiting for Arbiter to man up and not fall through.

The planned attack on Tita was no problem to the Sirius Star. They had one of the most powerful beast-type mecha amongst the Milky Way Alliance — the Doomsday Werewolf Corp.

With the restriction of taboo weapons, the fleet determined air superiority, while the mecha determined who would win.

A bunch of bumpkin giants were just meat under the claws of beasts!
