My eyes narrowed as an explosion of purple energy came from below. My amazing vision told me that was not a good sign, especially when a spear tip was aimed at me. Okay, Okay, I know what needs to be done. Glancing over my stats once again, I made a decision. I could no longer run, or be afraid. I had one hit point and I'm sure they could flick me and I would die. I had to be serious and dawn my persona. I had to treat it like a game, even if my actual life was on the line. I needed my other personality to take the reins, I needed Grimm.
I slapped myself with my empty hand. Come on Grimm!
' Samuel she is goi-"
'Enough Aurora, I am fine, leave this part to me.'
I breathed in, the air whipping past me brought silence to my ears. The ground came closer and my mind focused.
It's just a game.
It's just a game.
It's is a game. I smiled, I found him. The other half that so mercilessly struck down the enemy. Grimm was my best bet. In that state I could calculate and use the information I had under my belt.
I smiled.
Come at me.
I did not know if I was actually going to hurt the strong woman who stood before me but as my eyes fell upon them, I merely saw stats. Ones and zero that threatened my life... It is time to play.
//Momentum//
Popped over Reina's head in flashing red letters. My eyes darted toward her and read the description of her ability.
Shit.
This was not gonna be fun. I needed a way to counter it but Frostbite was still cooling down, the horror of any video game. I bit my lip as I was now close to the ground, a familiar feeling of death echoing through my body. Wait, I needed to wait. Frostbite was my only true spell I knew how it worked, now was not the time to read descriptions, or rely on a hit or miss spell.
The bronze spear resembled a rocket launching for space as an explosion of purple light propelled the it forward. Damn, I would be cutting it close, the spell needing three seconds. Three. The spear was edging toward me with destruction. Two seconds. If I was looking at this through any other stance, I would be shaking in my metaphorical shoes. But the feeling I had slightly different, well actually really different. I was feeling the thrill, the thrill that my game self was thoroughly enjoying.
//Frostbite// my eyes lit up as the spear stopped inches from my face, Excalibur stopping it with its shiny gold blade. I grinned wildly as I gripped the floating spear from just behind the spear head. I did a spin in the air and pointed the spear at Reina. Check. Mate.
However, the fear I saw on her face was clearly seen. Even if her eyebrows were furrowed and her face seemed tense, she was shaking. Her knees wobbling as she watched me clutch her spear so easily.
"Reina get awa-" Mary yelled.
I closed my eyes.
The spear barreled down wards with chaos following shortly behind. Only instead of aiming toward the almost defenseless group of girls, the point collided with the already made crater.
BOOOOOOOOM
An eruption of dirt and the remnants of ice flew in all directions. As I was flung sideways, I braced my self for impact. My back crunched against the comically soft grass surrounding the houses, my body leaving a trail as I slid. Damnit, I felt extreme pain as I quickly glanced at my own health bar on instinct. It was there, a sliver of red still clinging on. I sighed heavily, it would take more than that to kill me. In the smog of dirt and something similar to gunpowder, I looked at my stats and opened all the descriptions of the unknown spells.

I had tools that would allow me to survive but like any other games, their was a restriction I had to take into account. I was literally one hit and was sure each of the girls, even Mary, could land the decisive blow. In the wall of dust separating me from the mana I could surprisingly start to sense, I looked toward the past. I hesitated to finish off Reina, something Grimm and his followers would never do. I was cracking, the persona I adopted falling victim to the very real feeling of this world. It also seemed Aurora was no longer present when I took control, was she simply a tutorial or did I just not have her within my presence. I shook myself straight and looked at Excalibur, the blade still godly in my hands.
Do I kill them?
The thought seem to hang in the air slightly, my mind drifted just as the dust started to settle and the area was starting to become visible. I can't kill them, I would only be able to suppress them till they run out of mana. It was the only compromise I can think of. Survive and hope that after they give up, I could explain myself.
My //Mana Sale// ability only had seven minutes left. Was that even enough? Was I going to be fast enough?
I gripped the enchanted cloth handle of Excalibur, my eyes landing on Reina, and two other girls standing just a few feet away. Reina had no weapon and took her position behind the other two, sweat pouring down her nose.

The brunette took one step. In a flash her presence was behind me. Margret eh, fucking scary to say the least. Just from her gaze I could tell her experience was towering over me. In the instant she was behind me, a single word popped in my head.
Death.
I bit my lip and activated //Earthquake//. In the next second I ducked my head in hopes. The black saber she wielded zoomed above me in a flash. Fuck. The ground cracked and my feet sunk into the ground, pulling me enough away from the second blur of her black blade.
"Alice use it!" Margret yelled as she rolled to the side. My feet were still buried in the dirt. Alice, the most prettiest out of any of the girls held her hands out. The pale fingers aimed directly at me.
//Flower Bloom//
Flower Bloom(nature magic)- a beam of overheated sunlight that disintegrates the target.
I smiled. If I were to even get touched by any of these girls spells, I was toast. I gripped Excalibur, my body using all the strength it could muster to push the blade forward. The beam of yellow light circled around her hand and barreled toward me. The light hit my blade hard and the shock echoed through my body. The light arced around my torso, the intensity of the beam singeing my arms. Damnit, it hurt so bad but I had to push on, I will prove my innocence.
Weird, even as Grimm ripped my feet from the earth and quickly darted to the left, idle thoughts still were present. I was yet to go full Grimm. I ignored the pain and my eyes once again stuck to the sliver of red. Fuck man.
I felt it, Margret's mysterious aura behind me once again. I swung Excalibur to intercept her. She easily stepped away and stabbed forward. I slipped on a pile of pink panties left in the chaos, the blade missing thanks to luck.
"You aren't half bad Reaper, but..."
Tsk, I already knew another beam of light was arcing toward me. My mind was grinding as I looked for an opening. A way of escape.
I need you Grimm, please!
I stopped all my momentum, both the beam of energy and Margret bewildered by such a play. The beam hit the house just in front of me. If I were to have kept going, I would have died.
"That's enough..."
Margret pointed her saber toward me, "You dare hurt the pe-"
I never in my entire life thought I would ever touch a woman intentionally, but my intent grew every second Grimm was in control. I found my hand gripped around Margret's neck. How did I come to throw her off guard, only if I knew? I squeezed as she stared me down determination in her eyes. She was willingly to die for her kingdom, I knew that much from her gaze.
"Alice... Do it"
No, I miscalculated. I knew she would die without hesitation but I never accounted for Alice.

"I- I can't!"
Alice was situated on a roof just behind me, her eyes teary as she watched her superior start to lose life. Damn.
I let go of Margret. //Earthquake//
I willed the ground to do as before but instead to Margret's legs. She sunk into the ground and her eyes started to lose focus. Why did they seem so powerful but yet so weak? It was as if they tried their best to stay away from me, moving only to try a decisive blow.
I bit my lip and ran full sprint toward where the now gaping abyss in the earth was present. Reina helping Mary lean against the wall of a small cottage. These girls were fighting nail and bone to try and kill me. I already knew Alice was chasing me, Margret slowly following. I glanced at Excalibur. I had only a minute left on my Mana Sale ability. Soon I would be useless against them, even more than I would normally. Damn it all!
I was filled with frustration, Grimm only having glimpses into this battle. It was so much like a game yet I was still not treating it like one. I just couldn't. When I grabbed Margret I was sure of it, I felt her heart beat. I felt her rasp breath and the clamminess of her skin. They were as real as can be.
"Stop!"
It was Alice, I turned and faced her, the hole behind me. Mary and Reina also noticed me and watched carefully. The last of their hope on Alice.
"Why!"
She screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Why do you plan on destroying our peace, we never wanted a man here?! Why did you hurt my friends?!"
My hand shifted on Excalibur and I took a stance, the abyss behind me.
"I never once laid a hand on your friends, the only time was with her because of my rage. Believe me but I don't mean harm."
Alice's face went dark. Margret watched as her student started to bloom before her eyes. The hate she needed finally coming to.
I watched tears rolled down her face. It must of been emotional to watch me literally raise havoc on the peace of this world. I was the mistake, I was the one at fault, I was the one to start this. Even if they raised their hand first, I came here without permission.
"Then kill me..."
I threw Excalibur on the ground. I was done fighting, my body ached and the adventure I once wished for long gone. The world of Iro was one of women, and I disrespected that. I may not be guilty completely but, what the hell, I had a good run.
All four of the girls stared me down, the clank as Excalibur hit the ground having no effect. Alice charged, her head down as she did. She did not even have a weapon, what was she thinking?!
I put my hands up to stop her put she collided with my chest. The force knocking the air out of my lungs.
//Return//
Wait, Reina activated a spell. I had no time to read but from just the alert I could tell what that meant. I jumped away as Alice crashed to the ground in a spurt of tears and agony. Why did she seem so hurt?
Reina was now up, and moving toward me with her copper spear.
//Last Stand//
Last stand- an awakened ability that allows another use of the original ability.
Jesus fucking christ.
//Momentum//
I grabbed Excalibur and grabbed Alice by the arm. On instinct I put Excalibur against her back and prepped my body. Alice was way to dizzy to dodge, I had to protect her.
Damn you Samuel, even in the end you are still as stupid as ever. I put Alice against my chest and just as before, the spear was accelerating toward me with force.
BOOM
I took the full force of the hit, Excalibur barley staying in my hands as the spear spun rapidly against the golden blade. White light shot out wildly as the weapons clashed. My feet started to lose traction and my mind started to fade. Mana Sale ran out, there was no hope.
Then a single idea popped into my head.
I took the rest of my strength and leaped backwards, letting the spear continue past us. As it did, my feet no longer found a familiar feeling of earth. We were plummeting downwards.
