In a world where one's worth is determined by Archons—godlike entities who watch over everything—the least you can hope for is to get picked by the most lowly of them.

Raith was chosen by the Archon of failure and death. 

Having emerged from one of the three greatest family, he was forced to leave the family and began a lonely journey of being a Hero as he has always wanted. 

Hero–that was the only way Raith could redeem himself and be acknowledged by the world. 

But this Archon is just too useless!

However, everything changes on the day when Raith dies for the first time.

Requiem Of A Failed Hero

Raith spread his arms as golden ripples widened and from all of them poured out weapons of golden hue, Immediately baptizing the point where the monster stood with tremendous velocity.

A maddening sound reverberated across the air as the collision caused a massive tremor to run through the entire land.

The entire place was covered in a cloud of dust. Raith squinted his eyes, observing his opponent.

His eyes suddenly went wide and he slid over to his side. The monster glided past him like a fired bullet, missing the timing it had delicately prepared to plunge its claws into his chest.

Raith raised a knee and delved into the monster's belly before it fully glided away, changing its course. The monster hurled upwards into the sky but once it was midair, it redirected itself and darted back at Raith who materialized a sword and the two met in a sparks flying collusion.
