Chapter 3, That Man,

As the class rep announced the transfer student to the room he came out, he walked toward the podium he then announced himself, "hi my name is Dawn Hinatsu," As he said his name the whole gym went quiet and everyone looked at him, as for me I was too surprised to finally hear his name. When I looked up I saw the chairman, my grandfather my moms dad Dean Natsume, he stood up and looked at the young man with surprise then took a step forward he then pointed and said "it..it cant be!" then I saw my father stand up with his father Ester Nanase hanging onto his arm helping him stand, with a surprise on there faces as of seeing a ghost they both looked at the man then said "that's impossible how can it be that name is?!" the boy look at the two old men and responded "I'm sorry did I say something wrong?" he smiled at the 3 men then looked over my direction, as I looked back at the transfer student my eyes widen as I unconsciously stood of my seat and said out loud, "its you!" as I stood there everyone stared at me then I quickly sat down and covered my mouth and said to myself "its him the man at the entrance," he has the forgotten family name that cant be, "the last Hinatsu was the brother of my ancestor Alester, and Derick but there were no other descendant from the Hinatsu family, unless he." I thought, then the morning assembly came to a close as the class rep said "Have a good year everyone and remember we are hosting the moon festival on February 14, so seniors be ready to work hard." with those last words the students clapped after the class reps last words just then the bell rang for the first class to start the students went out row by row as to make sure the exit doesn't get crowded, as I was heading out i looked toward the stage and saw the transfer student walking away with the chairman, my father and grandfather I was going to follow after them, but my father saw me going towards them, he shook his head telling me not to go any further and to head to class, I stopped looked at my father his face filled with worry I nodded then my friends were behind me, held me with worry then followed me out we walked out of the gym, we went to the second floor to the senior department area, the school has 3 split buildings one is the gym and the other is the cafeteria and cafe stores, on the other building is the class building, the bottom floor are the freshman department on the left side, the sophomore department on the right then in the second floor the junior department on the right and the senior department on the left, for each department they have 4 different classes A-B-C-& D, there are no ranks but there are grade ranks but for every class they will have one or two top student in it just to make the classes even. I am in room 4-A and my friends are in room 4-B. I walked into my class looked around the room was big like a ball room except with long rows of desks and benches there were five rows, three columns, one on the left side against the wall, one in the middle and the other on my right side where the windows were, with two step-ways dividing the columns to enter the long rows of desks and benches, I sat on the third row on the right-side next to the windows, I fixed my books for class, I then saw white doves flying upward across the window I looked out, it was so bright I turned toward the front, I then noticed the black chalk board it was long and wide it filled the wall, in front of the board was a redwood podium with a dark blue runner hanging from the front the school emblem embroidered on it was gold like strings, I then looked toward the windows they were tall it almost reached the ceiling and the frames were as wide as ten feet. I could see the sun giving the class room some natural light, as I gazed upon the widow the shadow of the cloud covers the suns brightness I can see the open fields from the second floor of the academy the open lake side with a beautiful scenery, the wind making the water of the lake flow to its direction with little fishes jumping from the water "it must be nice to be free." I thought to myself. As the bell rang for class to start we stood up from our seats to welcome the teacher "thank you for teaching us today!" the class greeted the teacher, he then put up his hand letting us know to have a seat, as we sat down I looking out the window to see the birds fly. The teacher announced the new student, I looked to see the new student, he walked into the class I could hear some of the girls in my class silently talk "aah, he so handsome," the girls on the other end of the room,"oh my gosh I can't believe he's in my class it must be our destiny," one girl said behind me, I giggled then looked back at him as the sunlight shinning at him through the window my eyes widen "he looks like!?"i said with my thought, his short black hair combed back, his skin pail peach and his eyes like no other it was a beautiful hazel brown with a light-blue color trim on the bottom of his hazel eyes, I notice that he was looking strait at me, I quickly looked back out the window as of looking away from his gaze then the teacher announced "this is our new transfer student his name is Dawn Hinatsu he is new to the island and the village so please make him feel welcome," the teacher looked at the new student, said "young man you can take your seat, you may sit anywhere with an open seat." the new student then sat right next to me looked toward my direction he asked me "do you like the view?" with his sudden deep voice, I startled then turned to look at the him, his face close to my cheek I moved back to look at him, I said "yes, its quite free and open," he looked at me with his Hazel eyes we looked into eachother eyes for a minute, he smiled then introduced himself with his hand out with a hand shake "hi I'm Dawn, And you?" I looked and smiled then introduced myself "oh, I'm Alexia, Alexia Nanase, but you can just call me Alexia." then shocked his hands in greeting, I noticed his hands are big and firm I looked down to notice something shining to my eyes around his neck a beautiful chained necklace with a blue gem on it I asked "what a beautiful gem, where did you get it?" he then whispered to my ear "its a secret." my face then turned a bright red, I then turned my head out the window, I could hear my heart beat out of my chest then he turned my shoulder toward him, he touched the top my hair then asked

"what is this white strand on your hair?"he pointed it out "oh!" I startled and put my hand on my hair to cover it up "I don't know when I woke up this morning, a part of my hair just turned white, so I tried to cover it up with black hair dye I guess it didn't work ha..ha" with a feeling of embarrassment, he then went close to me and moved my hand and said "it looks pretty on you don't be embarrassed." and I looked at him as if I heard him say that before, but didn't know where I heard it from, while lost in thought Class had begun. As our next classes came to an end, it's finally lunch, I asked Dawn if he wanted to join me and my friends for lunch he agreed then we went out toward the cafe shop, I got some ham/cheese sandwich with a Gatorade, Dawn got the same thing as me but with water, then we met up with my two friends I introduced them to him "Dawn these are my friends Anna and Alan," they greeted him, we went to an empty table next to the window as we ate our lunch Anna had grilled chicken with salad, and Alan had his lunch bow made from his mom it was fried chicken and white rice with a salad on the side, me and Dawn looked at eachother and looked at our lunch then smiled and laughed at eachother with stating our lunch is lame compared to theirs, Anna and Alan looked at us with confusion, we then stopped laughing then ate our lunch, the bell rang for our next class. Me and Dawn was in the same class we had P.E for our end of the day classes we went outside towards the track and baseball field, the teacher split us into two boy, girl group the teacher then sent us girls into the locker room to get changed, I just wore a white t-shirt with black shorts with a pink trim along the bottom of my shorts, I tied my hair into a ponytail and wore a red headband for my head sweat I then put on my white sneakers. we went out to the field, I looked around the field to notice Dawn in the crowd of boys, he wasn't really hard to see he was pretty tall with an average built body his skin peach and hair combed back and he wears a white t-shirt with black gym shorts as low to his knees. He looked toward me he notices me starring at him, I look at him to notice he was looking at me, I see him smile at me then I hear the teacher blow the whistle "OK students! School you will give me two laps around the field but first you will stretch with a partner, I will be budding you up, that person will be your buddy for the next semester, I will be sending out six pair of students at a time, ohk the first students are Ms. Nanase and Mr. Hinatsu your the first group and the second group are..."as the teacher called out the other groups me and Dawn looked at eachother he then smiled he put his hand out toward me then said" ready, buddy?" I suddenly responded "uh. Yes!.. uh buddy," he smiled at me as I looked down. We then started stretching, the teacher blew her whistle " Nanase and Hinatsu get the first lap going!" we then stood up, started jogging the first lap. As we finished our laps the teachers called us in to freshen up, I went over to the refreshment cooler and got some cold towels and water, as I walked back

I looked toward Dawn then gave him a bottle of water to drink, he drank the water while I damped my face with a cold towel I looked up at Dawn I noticed his sweat flowing from his face down to his neck then it disappears onto his shirt making his shirt soak I can see his chest while his six pack just showing through his shirt, I could feel my face turning red then I looked back up at his face to see that he's just starring at me I could my face getting hot I looked away quickly handing him a fresh wet towel "here dry yourself!" he then took the towel and started drying is sweat from his face and neck, as I cooled down I turned back toward him, I drank my water bottle then he came close to me he put his head on my head then asked "are you ohk you look a little red?" I then pushed him away then looked up toward him and said "oh uh its probably the sun its pretty hot today ha..ha..ha..."with a smile on my face I then avoided my eyes toward the blue sky, he looked at me with worry then asked " are you sure?" I quickly responded,"yea I'm fine," he looked at me and then nodded to agree with my response. As P.E ended we went back to the locker room, as I was walked toward the locker room I felt my self getting dizzy, then stumbled forward, then Dawn saw me as I was about to fall he ran toward me and grabbed my hand helping me up he looked toward the teacher then told the her "I'll bring Alexia to the nurses office!!." he then carried me to the nurses office as we were almost there I could slightly hear him say,"its ohk Alexia ill always be with you...." I then blacked out hearing those words I fell into a deep sleep. Again its that strange dream, the man he looks like Dawn but different his hair is long and white like snow his skin a pail peach but this time he wore a white gown and a blue pendant, the moon behind him was Big and Blue I tried to reached out to the man, but he looked at me with those sad blue eyes then said "the time is almost upon us …." I then tried to run toward the man as if I wanted to be with him and comfort him to tell him,"don't cry its ohk I'm here." I noticed he started fading away, everything around me started to turn black like the abyss, I looked around but I couldn't tell if I'm really looking alas a light i can see a figure coming from the light its a woman "hello!" the light got wider and wider I cover my eyes to block the flash of light as I opened my eyes I m standing on a grassy field I turned around toward the lake to see a beautiful woman standing in-front of me she wore a white gown with gold bracelets dangling from her wrist, as I looked upon her fave her skin pail peach her hair white as snow her eyes blue like the blue moon I then looked behind her I notice a wide blue moon just above the lake "we don't have much time child!" the woman said to me, I looked back to the woman "where am I? What do you mean we don't have time?" the woman came close to me she held my face with a gentle touch "what will your destiny be? I wonder if you will choose to be with your destiny?!" as she said that she started to fade away I tried to reach out to her "what do you mean!!?!" I then woke up my hand raised up as of trying to catch someone, I put my hand to my face I felt my eyes they were tearing again, I sat up, looked around, notice my dad laying next to me sitting on the chair beside the bed " I guess he waiting for me to wake up," I looked at my dad patted his head and smiled, I then put my hand on my head I felt a little dizzy with pain, "uh..what.. what happened?" my father woke up, he noticed I was awake then responded with worry on his face, "my dear you're finally awake, are you ohk I got a call from the nurse saying you were in the nurses office, when I came the nurse told me that you fainted in gym and your classmate was the one who carried you here." my father hugged me he held me with care and worry he pulled me away "I'll call your mother and tell her you are ohk!" I then swallowed then nodded to my dad "ohk," I looked around to see if he was here but he wasn't. My dad then called my mom and told her I was fin he then looked at me with a sudden yell in surprised "ALEXIA, YOUR HAIR?!" I looked at his face his eyes widen he dropped the phone with my mom till on it with a sudden scare on my throat "WHAT!!, Whats wrong with my hair?!" I held my hair, and my dad walked closer he pointed out then held a stand of my hair then said "Your Hair is Turning White!!" I looked at my dad in surprise then I ran to the restroom mirror I turned on the lights and screamed in surprised "AAH.... WHAT!!" my hair that was once black is now layered in white. I then ran out toward my dad and asked "Whats happening to me why is my hair suddenly turning white?" my dad looked at me in surprised, in silent he looked down "I'm sorry my dear I.. I don't know." I can see the worry and secret on his face, he then picked up the phone and told my mom who was worried "dear I think its almost time!"he then hung up the phone I looked at my dad with my hands over my mouth "what is it dad tell me?!?"he looked at me, he then walked toward me then said as he hugged me tightly "ill be heading back to my class, ill come back after the period to pick you up ohk, We can discuss this at home with your mother." he pulled back and held my shoulders, I then nodded in agreement, he walked out of the nurses office he stopped in-front of the nurses office he looked to his right he then just stud there looking at someone, he then looked back at me with worry then left. I walked toward the door to see what my father was looking at, just to be surprised I saw Dawn, Anna and Alan at the door then I hear Anna scream and pointed at my hair with a surprised look she walked closer to me then asked "Oh my!, girl what happened to your hair?!" I then responded with a smile with a sudden excuse "I'm trying on a new look ha..ha.." I looked down to notice Anna holding flowers "are those fore me?" I then changed the subject "oh. Yes here" she gave me the bundle of flowers, as I smelt them "wow there beautiful thanks Anna." I smiled at her, I see Dawn and Alan behind Anna I tell them "get inside instead of standing at the door," they walked into the nurses office, then Alan brought out his latest invention he said "here," with a confusion on my face I looked it was a box with a black stone circle, he then said, "its my latest invention its a 3D projector. Here just press this and.." he pressed the red button on the side then a flash of light suddenly appears and it had a 3D show of the full Moon with stars sparkling around it then he said "this is for you, I noticed that you like to look at the moon every year on the festival we see you look out toward the moon" I then looked at him and Anna "what really I didn't notice?"with my thought "every time its the festival I happen to be in a daze and I end up looking toward the moon." Alan then held one side of my shoulder and Anna on the other side I hugged them both with a smile saying "thank you, you guys are the best," with tears of joy, I then looked at Dawn who was looking at me as I hugged my friends, he smiled then walked toward me he put his hand on my face wiping away my tear, I let go of my friends then walked up to him "umm. thank you for carrying me to the nurses office I didn't mean to make you worry, I'm fine now." he smiled then said "that's good" he then looked at my hair, he then patted my head "are you sure your ohk?" he suddenly asked, I nodded then we sat down and talked for a while, then Anna and Alan left while classes ended with the bell, my dad then came as he said he would Dawn helped me get into the wheel chair then we said our good byes as my dad rolled me out to the car.
