The reason

As the house was seriously beautiful the team started to take a look around just when they were done a lady rang the doorbell.

"Who could it be?" Everyone thought. But not to waste much time, Alena opened the door.

The lady was in her 40s, wearing glasses she looked as if she is a serious secretary of a big CEO. Seeing a person the moment they reached there, even the team was a little frightened.

"Mr. & Mrs. Angelson?" The lady asked.

For a sec there was silence. The team had almost forgot that they had come with a fake identity and were about to say no one with that name is here but just by remembering Mr. Harry's words "your one mistake can take lives of thousands or your own."

"Yes, we are!" Mike (AN: I mean Jason! I should write Jason or Mr. Harry will scold me..>.<)

"I hope you guys liked the house?" The lady asked.

"Its lovely! But you are...?" Jason (Mike) asked as this lady was not someone Mr. Harry had mentioned.

"Oh I am sorry! Forgot to introduce myself! I am the dealer who showed this house to your father-in-law. I am Sharron, he told me that you must have brought the rent...?" The lady said.

Now the team finally remembered about this lady.

"Oh ah yeah! Give me a sec please."

After the lady left, the 'Angelson family' took a sigh of relief.

"Phew...For a second, I thought we are done." Ally said as she sat on the sofa which was still under white sheets.

"I guess before starting mission, we should set this house a bit?" Mike asked to everyone.

"Agree."

After dividing their works, the guys were doing the cleaning of different rooms and the girls were incharge of cooking as it was almost afternoon and near lunchtime. As their was no grocery in home so Ally went to buy grocery while Alena & Sabrina cleaned kitchen so that it's ready for cooking.

As the cleaning was done from boys' side, they came to kitchen.

"I can understand if Ally and Alena can cook but Sabrina...can you cook food which is edible?" Sam asked.

"I do know cooking, ok?" Sabrina said.

"Hmm... Don't you guys think Ally is taking too much time to buy some groceries?" Mike said as it had been more than 1 hour since Ally went to the supermarket.

"Sorry! It did take me a little too much time to come." Ally said as she came with two heavy bags and put it on the kitchen counter.

"Phew!" The guys took a sigh of relief in heart.

"Here, fire extinguisher. We don't know when the food starts to burn" Ally said as she had heard Sam's question to Sabrina.

"Hey! That was a minor accident." Sabrina said

"Three times in a row?" Alena asked.

After a little laugh, the girls started cooking. Austin and Sam were resting in their rooms and Mike was doing a bit research on his target from the agency's sources.

The day passed finally and the night came. According to their identities Alena and Mike had to share one room.

As Mike was still doing research, Alena didn't bother him and started reading her novel. But near 12:00 Alena started to think that doesn't this guy have a habit of waking up early? Shouldn't he sleep now?

Mike had been doing research for almost a day, his eyes were getting strained He was getting a headache and his blood was boiling just by reading more and more about this agency. He closed his laptop and lied down on bed.

"So you finally decided to sleep?" Alena asked.

"Hmm." Mike said.

"I cannot say that I have never seen you this serious for a mission because we haven't done a lot of missions together...but seeing you doing research about that agency day and night...May I ask why this mission is that important to you? If you want to tell..." Alena said.

"This mission is indeed very important to me. This mission maybe can free me..." Mike said as he sat up.

Hearing such words with a sad and serious expression, Alena was confused.

"Free you? From?" Alena asked.

"The guilt..." Mike said with a more sad expression.

"You are guilty?" Alena asked because Mike's words were so confusing to her.

"Yeah...guilty of not being able to do anything when I knew everything..." Mike said as he clenched his fist.

"Ok you know what? Just tell me the story in detail. Your words are really confusing." Alena said as she closed her novel and kept it on the table near bed.

"Year 2013, date 6th May. I came back from school and went to my room. Mom asked me to bring my sister Melisa from her room and the moment I went there... I saw my sister dead. It was suicide... There was one note written on table with only two words 'Good bye'." Mike said as he blankly stared at the ceiling.

"Why..?" Alena asked.

"Rape. She was raped by the leader of this Golden Book agency. I knew this was about to happen...I knew she was their target but still I sat there doing nothing!" Mike said.

"Ohh... But there is no need to be guilty though. I mean...yeah even if you did know.. what are you really going to get by holding the guilt in your heart for years? And then you are here now! You know if your sister was here even she wouldn't hold you guilty." Alena said

"She wouldn't?" Mike asked as he turned to Alena.

"Nope. She is your sister, why would she hold you guilty for something you didn't do?" Alena said.

"I don't know...I just feel like I am pretty useless..." Mike said with his head down.

"Sigh...you really are thinking in a wrong direction. Though I don't have a brother or even a guy who I take as a brother but if I had I won't hold him guilty...rather... I would convince him to not be guilty. Plus Mike do you think with this guilt you will be able to do this mission? Nope. Be the same person, the perfect agent." Alena said as she showed a thumbs up with a wink.

"You are right." Mike said.

"Don't worry too much." Alena said as she was about to turn the light off but Mike stopped her.

"Don't you want me to sleep on that sofa?" Mike asked.

"You deserve the bed today. But I am way too tired to switch to that sofa so let's keep the extra cushions in between and sleep." Alena said and kept the cushions in between and fell asleep.
