So it's a traitor

"Finally this guy decided to stop somewhere!" Mike said.

"Yeah, he has been driving continuously for 3 hours." Alena said.

The Team had been following the assassinator or the criminal no.78679112567 for 3 hours now. But he wouldn't stop anywhere and now he had stop somewhere outside the city.

"Okay, Austin & I will go in that store and see what he is upto and you all stay here if we need back up and we will be connected through ear pieces." Mike said.

"Okay." Sam said.

Austin & Mike got out of the car and got into the same store in which the assassinator had entered right now.

"Welcome to our store sirs!" The receptionist in the store said.

Austin & Mike decided to split up and look for the guy.

"Not in dairy section." Mike whispered.

"Not in vegetable either." Austin said.

"My my...there is a whiskey flavoured condom too?" Austin said.

"...."

"Oh I mean I found him...just got a bit distracted." Austin said.

Mike completely ignored whatever Austin told him just a few seconds ago and tried to concentrated on their present target right now.

"What's he doing?" Mike asked.

"He moved to other section and...he is looking for.....lemons?" Austin said.

"Lemons?" Mike asked.

"And now he is moving to the counter."

"And..he doesn't seem to give money for lemons..but the receptionist is giving him something?" Mike said as he got near to the reception of the store.

After the assassinator received the card he went to the back of the store.

"Hey, tell us what did you give to that guy?" Mike asked the receptionist.

"Give? Sir, I only took the credit card and returned it." The receptionist said with confusion.

"No! I saw you giving him something!" Mike said.

"Sir you are mistaking something." The receptionist said.

"Uh, can you show us the store's registration papers?" Austin asked.

"What will that do??" Mike said.

"Just wait and watch." Austin said as he gave a calm expression.

The receptionist brought the papers of the store. Austin took the papers and flipped through some pages. After flipping through some pages, Austin finally found what he needed. He took out his phone and called his secretary and kept the phone on speaker.

"Hey Hi Cindy, can you tell me if we have ever constructed a general store outside the city with licence no.1800059877?"

"No sir, we have not." Cindy said.

"Thank you very much Cindy."

"I don't know who made these papers but I have to tell you that 20 years ago, Texas Industries had signed a contract with the state government to make stores in 10 cities of the state and this area is also included in it." Austin said.

"Nice move. So now tell us, what are you all upto?" Mike said.

"Okay, okay I will tell you what I know! Please don't kill me or hand me to police! I did not even know the papers were fake!" The lady started crying for her life.

Mike & Austin looked at each other and Mike said "Leaving your life will be decided on the information you give us."

"Okay, so 2 months ago I was hired to handle this store, in the back of the store different man come in every 3 days though the gap had been changed recently but they would ask for the card which opens the back of the store's door, I don't have any idea myself that what is even kept there." The woman said.

"Hmm."

But while this interrogation of Mike and Austin was going with the receptionist. The man almost had gone but Sam warned them and then they left the store and hurried to catch him.

After 3 hours, Agency HQ

"Good work team!" Leonard said.

"So Mr. Peter. Tell me who told you to kill Mr. Nelson and kidnap the former head of our Agency?" Leonard asked.

"You really think I'd tell you?" Peter said.

"Okay, let's start from the top. First, what is in the back of the store? Why do all assassinators go there after their mission?" Leonard asked with serious expression.

"Won't tell you that either." Peter said.

Just when the interrogation was still going on Tyler came in Leonard's office and whispered something to him.

"Hmm, okay leave" Leonard said.

After listening to the information by Tyler, Leonard looked at the man in front of him.

"Since Peter is not your real name so I suppose, whoever is behind this, gives all the assassinators a new indentity so they could start their new life?" Leonard asked as his face went black.

"How'd you..." The man was shocked by whatever Leonard said as it was true.

"Hmm, security! Take him back and this time keep a close eye on him." Leonard said on the phone in his office.

"Tyler find out which agency has made these documents." Leonard said as he handed Peter's document to him.

"Yes sir."

As Leonard was waiting for that agency's name who'd make those fake documents, a message on Leonard's phone screen flashed. It was from the same number. This time it was not a person's photo but a ring. A ring which looked really familiar to Leonard.

With the photo, a message read.

'I suppose this belongs to your wife, well nice trick to install a GPS tracker.'

After this, a video was sent in which how the ring's metal was melted and GPS was destroyed too. Looking at all this Leonard's heart was aching. Yet again, because of him Harriet was in danger. Even after 10 years for Leonard watching these things happen, he was losing confidence in himself that whether he'd be able to protect his family or not? But this was not the time to cry or question himself, he had to take the actions now. If now then never maybe. But as Leonard was still thinking all of this he remembered something.

'This has a GPS tracker and it can only be taken off when you put your Agency's 7-digit ID number which is on your ID card.'

Leonard remembered telling this information about the ring to Harriet

"So it's a traitor." Leonard said with serious expression but eyes buring in anger like fire.

On the other hand, City B, Country J.

"Oh Alexander dear if you were not here how'd we ever be able to get his wife?" Juliana said.

"Don't worry Juliana, even if I was not here you'd still be able to do it yourself." Alexander said.
