(Tom's PoV)
I stared at Siji, watching as he bowed down to Sanji before he put a white clothe over his dead body. Siji lifted Sanji's body with ease. His face was cold and hardened. I had a hunch that he knew something about it.
Everything felt like a blur after that. A news about a man was found dead in an abandoned house after missing for more than two weeks filled the newspapers headlines. It was said that the murderer was still on the loose.
After returning to Sanji's house, I left Jane in Sanji's mother's care and went to do what Siji suggested us to do. As expected, it took time until Sanji could finally be buried properly. After a series of investigation, the police promised that they would keep in contact with us and Sanji's parents just in case something new came up during their investigation.
