Going on a journey: It’s time to discover the horizon!

Looking at her leaving silhouette, I was left stupefied. I didn't think that she would leave just like that. After all, I am willing to risk my life to help her. How can she be so heartless? I was waiting to be hugged or to have a warm kiss at least. A man acting so handsomely should be well rewarded by women. That's what always happen in the fantasy stories and I am leading one right now right? Such a shameless woman, truly a bitch.

Unwilling to think about it any longer, I hurriedly stood up and left the inn. It was high time I start leveling again. I only have 3 months time time to reach level 24 at least so I can kill both bosses single handedly or I would need a party to do so if I only get to level 22 same level as the bosses. At this moment, I shouted through my mind to check what useful items I have right now. After some time, I couldn't help but sigh. I was too poor right now, only 15 gelts left in total. Other items were not soldable.' I wonder if items like exist in this world?' but that question was hard to answer. This was only my third day here so I didn't really know anything about it. The only places I visited were only the guild, the inn, weedge and the library and even though I collected many books in , the weren't enough. To discover the world only through books? Which naive person said that? I can't deny that books can uncover many information and help widen someone's knowledge. But what is written on books is only a small part of the worldly truth. Some information cannot be passes through books and some can too be modified for the writer's interest and beliefs. No one can guarantee that what's written is true, though I can do it easily with my innate ability but not everyone have such an ability to do the same. I am a special case after all. Anyway, if someone wants to discover and widens oneself knowledge, the true one at that, then he should not rely on written information. He should travel, search and conclude all by himself. And that's what I am going to do right now. Un! I am not doing this because I'm short in finances and need to earn money by traveling and killing monsters or anything. It's just your imagination, don't believe it!

Having such thoughts, I strolled in town for sometime before going to the guild and getting some quests. This time along with hunting quests, I got an escorting one too. It was a D class quest and after uncovering about it K learned that I will be joining a group of three D class adventurers in the process. We will be escorting a merchant carriage to another town that seems to exist in weedge map. And there also exist adventurer guild branch there so I curiously joined the quest party. I also discovered that there exist many other towns in this island. And in every town there exist a branch of the adventurer's guild. ' that will save me some trouble I guess' I thought excitedly. Looking more into the quest informations, I learned more things about it such as the departing time, the time needed to reach the town and the reward received from it. It was total of 300 gelt each party member. 'Not bad, it gives more than the hunting quests. Well it's harder to accomplish so that's only natural.' The departure time was tomorrow early. Seeing that, I didn't want to waste this day so I decided to do the hunting quests first. The two quests I got weren't different from my first one. The first one was to hunt fungies and strong fungies , 5 each and the second quest was to hunt small and normal dodos. Fungies and small fungies were respectively levels 2 and 3 while the dodos were level 3 and 4 so it should not be that hard to hunt them.

Knowing that, I didn't hesitate and headed directly to the quest area and there I again used my energie blasts to one shot them easily just like the small fungies. I had only that offensive skill after all and I didn't know how I can acquire other skills yet. I also didn't get any class skill yet. It seems that I should solve this problem soon or it will be troublesome. In the end, this time it took much longer to finish the 2 quests and I got to level up in the process. Though the experience I got this time was much less from last time. I hunted 20 monsters with level that was between 2 and 4 but still managed only to level once.
