When the spell came flying over, everything was set off.
Scarlett, who was enraged, transformed into a bloody red snake and lunged towards the Beauxbatons who returned it with spells.
With no time to think, Arth threw up his pendant which immediately separated into tiny shards. The shards immediately honed onto the spells and flew towards them like glimmering arrows, effectively causing a beautiful light show and powdery dust to sprinkle
Arth then ran forwards and grabbed Scarlett by the jaw, saving Fleur from getting a nasty bite. Surprised by his touch, Scarlett flinched and tried to quirk away but Arth wasn't going to have it.
The second round of spells were heading his way.
Arth sighed before taking out his wand.
After a wave of the wand, three shields materialized in the air in front of him.
The spells exploded on the shields causing him to recoil back a little, but it was nothing dire. But the shields were starting to crack.
It seemed that the shields were not going to last long.
While he took on the spells, Arth made a small black band appear around Scarlett's jaw, closing them shut.
Sorry Scarlett, but you need to fly for a bit. It was going to be very difficult to control Scarlett while defending against the spells at the same time.
Arth threw her up to the ceiling, before grabbing the air in front of him.
An inky black sword materialized in front of him which he used to defend against the incoming spells.
With every clash, there would be sparks and a purple after glow, causing many student to watch on with dazed looks.
Arth's hands were now swinging at a sword at a speed that couldn't be considered human level and a spell had yet to hit him.
However, it wasn't easy.
Beads of sweat were starting to form on Arth's forehead and he knew that a single mistake would cost him his consciousness.
That and his dignity.
Arth's sword broke after slicing through the final spell and Arth stood there gasping for air.
After a few seconds, Arth straightened his back and reached out his arms to catch Scarlett.
Apparently, on her way down she had turned back into a human and her face was blushing red.
Arth didn't blame her as of right now, Arth was giving Scarlett a standard Princess Carry.
It was a pretty embarrassing thing to do in public.
Arth sighed before holding onto his chained necklace.
Dust from the floor gathered together and once again made a pendant on his neck.
"Well, before anyone tries to kill me again, I'm going to go. See ya."
Arth sent an apologetic look towards the dazed Fleur before tapping the floor with his foot.
The shadow from underneath Arth came up and swallowed both Scarlett and Arth causing them to disappear entirely.
When the shadow disappeared, they were gone, no where to be seen.
It was at that moment, that Krum, who was eating in a corner, Cedric, talking to some girls, and Fleur realized who their greatest obstacle was.
It was the day that everyone realized that the Fourth Champion was not a weak child, but a threat.
