Success

Since Arth couldn't control his body, Arth decided to let his instincts take over.

Let's just say, things got a lot more violent.

"HOLY SH*T! WHATBIS IS THIS BATTLE!"

"Bagman, it's 'what is' And please watch your language!"

"CROUCH! ARE YOU GETTING THIS?"

"I'm right next to you-"

"HOLY F*CK!"

"Sigh."

Arth could vaguely hear the commentary above the sounds of claws and teeth scraping across scales.

Each time Arth threw in a scratch, he would receive two in return. Each time he snapped his jaw, he would lose a part of his body to her fangs. Each time he swung his tail, he was pummeled all over.

He was being destroyed.

"Is this all you got? How disappointing."

Arth ignored her taunt and snapped at her once more, which was dodged and returned with greater force. Arth gritted his jaw through the pain and whipped her across the face with his tail.

They once more separated, staring at each other from about fifty feet away.

However, Arth knew this amount of distance was nothing.

It could be closed in a single instant if either one of them wished it to be.

Once good part was that now, it wasn't only Arth who was bleeding. Thick red blood now tainted her once sapphire scales.

Slowly but surely, Arth was becoming used to his body.

Saphira licked her lips and stared at Arth with an impresses expression.

"I do say I'm impressed. You have improved greatly since compared to when we started."

"It isn't enough though."

"Indeed, you lack the basic fundamentals. It's like you were a newborn hatchling that never had a father to learn from."

Arth imagined his father teaching him how to fight like a dragon.

He shook his head at the ridiculousness of it.

"Well, Noct of the Night Skies. It is time we see this fight to an end."

Saphira started to puff herself up, causing her to look at least twice as more intimidating.

And Arth knew exactly what was going to happen.

A pale blue flame erupted from her mouth like a flamethrower and blasted its way towards Arth.

The best Arth could do was do his best to evade it.

The blue flame caught onto the trees, surrounding the both of them in a sea of fire.

Arth started to pale.

If he got hit by that, he was screwed.

The only way he could cancel out her flame, was with his own, but the problem was, how was he going to go that? How did one breath fire out of one's mouth?

Arth recalled reading a book called: Reb*rn: Evolving from N*thing.

The main character had also become a dragon and had to learn how to fight like one.

Arth took a deep breath and attempted to breath fire.

Then he realized that the book never went into detail how exactly to breath Fire.

Arth saw Saphira puff up once more and started to get desperate.

Breath in and out! Spit out fire! COUGH IT OUT-

A blast of blue fire once made its way towards Arth and Arth gave up on thinking. He opened his mouth and hoped that his instincts would take over.

It was like something inside him had lit up. Quite literally. And then, he found an idea.

A dark black flame trickled out from his mouth like the embodiment of death.

When it came in contact with the blue torrent, it exploded causing inky black darkness descend upon the forest, wiping out every source of light.

Saphira started to rampage around while being mindful of her eggs. She spewed blue flames in every direction hoping to get rid of the darkness that acted like a smokescreen.

In about a minute, the smokescreen has disappeared and Saphira had clear vision once again.

However, the sight in front of her was confusing.

Arth was on his knees with his head down. A universal submission pose.

". . . . So you are giving up already?"

For some reason, Arth felt as though he could hear a tiny bit of disappointment in her voice, but chose to ignore it.

". . . . I realized that I lack the skill and experience to challenge you."

"I-I see. . . ."

"That is why, I shall come back when I am stronger and challenge you once more."

Saphira paused before nodding her head.

"I understand. Although it is good for one to defiantly fight back again his loss, accepting defeat and learning from it is also a good trait one should have."

Saphira grabbed her two eggs delicately in her claws before opening up her wings.

"I shall be waiting for your second challenge."

She snapped the magical bindings on her body easily as if they were paper and took off flying to the sky.

Even though Arth could hear people screaming in the background, he ignored it and steadily transformed back into a human.

He was burnt in many places, he had bite wounds and scratch marks all over his limbs. He was bleeding severely but it did not matter, for when he lifted up his arms, a golden egg was revealed.

"I CANT BELIEVE IT! OUR FOURTH CHAMPION HAS GOTTEN THE EGG!"

The crowd went wild.
