Arth woke up feeling great and headed down to the great hall to eat. After eating, he entered the entrance hall to head to the location of the second task.

As he walked down the lawn he saw that the seats that had encircled the dragons' enclosure in November were now ranged along the opposite bank, rising in stands that were packed to the bursting point and reflected in the lake below.

Arth leisurely walked towards the Gold draped table at the water's edge. Cedric, Fleur, and Krum were beside the judges' table, watching Arth walk towards them.

Cedric gave Arth a wry smile while Fleur nodded her head. Krum seemed to feel a bit hostile towards Arth, however.

Mr. Crouch and Dumbledore smiled at Arth, and as did Karkaroff and Madame Maxime, though, I'm a more reserved way.

Ludo Bagman was now moving among the champions, spacing them along the bank at intervals of ten feet. Arth was on the very end of the line, next to Krum, who was wearing swimming trunks and was holding his wand ready.

Should he have brought his swimming clothes as well?

After about five minutes, Bagman pointed his wand at his throat as he had done at the World Cup, said, "Sonorus!" and his voice boomed out across the dark water toward the stands.

"Well, all our champions are ready for the second task, which will start on my whistle. They have precisely an hour to recover what has been taken from them. On the count of three, then. One . . . two . . . three!"

The whistle echoed shrilly in the cold, still air; the stands erupted with cheers and applause.

Arth yawned before glancing at the other champions to see what they were doing.

Fleur had cast the bubble head charm onto herself, causing her head to look oddly distorted. She was wearing a one piece swimming suit that out lined her body and Arth had to say, it was a sight.

Krum, oh the other hand, seemed to be trying to attempt what Arth did but on a smaller scale. He turned half of his body into a shark, effectively giving himself gills.

Cedric, took off his shirt causing a massive eruption of screams before also casting a Bubble head charm on his head.

Then, all three champions dove into the water with no remorse.

"AND THE CHAMPIONS HAVE ENTERED THE LAKE! WILL THEY SUCEED? WHO WILL BE THE FIRST TO EXIT!"

Arth yawned.

He had thought about it very much and came up with a conclusion.

Since he needed to be able to breathe and see underwater, the best choice would be gillyweed, however, Arth didn't have enough time to procure it.

The second best way was to turn into a fish or a marine animal, however, after experiencing what had happened in the first task, Arth was a bit reluctant.

What if a bigger fish or a hidden lake monster attacked him? How would he fight back?

The bubblehead charm was good, however, it made everything become distorted.

Nope, the best option was to stay above water while searching from above.

That way, he could Avoid needing to be able to breathe under water while also being able to see. He could also avoid any traps that might have been set.

All he had to do was cast a simple vision enhancing spell.

And as for him to stay above the water, he needed an old friend.

"WHY IS OUR FOURTH CHAMPION STILL ON THE DOCK? WHAT IS HIS GOAL? WILL HE MAKE IT IN TIME?"

Arth slowly took out his wand and waved it.

Magically, a guitar slowly materialized.

Arth grabbed the guitar and took a deep breath.

It was time to play.
