GentleBreeze zips through the air as he charges forward. In front of him, a giant hulking black spider let out a deafening screech before shooting out a barrage of purple liquid from its mouth. GentleBreeze gracefully dodged every last poison that the Spider Queen shot at him, corroding the surrounding environment instead. As GentleBreeze neared the Spider Queen, he spun his spear around before doing a 540 twist, slashing the Spider Queen directly in the face with his spear ('Wyvern Tail Slam'), stunning it for a short period. The Spider Queen let out an agonizing screech, calling out her pesky royal subjects. One by one, the throne room was filled by small to medium sized spiders, surrounding the Spider Queen in protection.
"Rampage certainly isn't making it easy for me to Ascend" Jae thought, as he lets out an exasperated sigh.
GentleBreeze's last attack depleted the Spider Queen's health down to its last 10%, thus activating the Spider Queen's special mechanic, where she calls upon her subjects to help her in battle. In reality the small spiders are actually not that strong and could be defeated in just one to two normal attacks; but what they lack in power, they make up for in numbers. The bites of the small spiders inflicts a weak poison, that stacks up every time the player is bitten, amplifying the effect. So in conclusion, the small spiders are an inconvenience and serves as a great attentions seekers for the player to be distracted and be taken advantage off by the Spider Queen. At least that's what Jae thought (along with every player there is).
Jae's patience was wearing thin as the small spiders kept coming at him, while the Spider Queen took advantage of it and sent out several sneak attacks. Having enough, GentleBreeze used 'Wyvern Tail Sweep', sending the pesky little spiders flying. Once the surrounding was clear GentleBreeze activated 'Dragon Scales', turning his skin to hard indestructible sliver scales. Swiftly, GentleBreeze ran straight towards the Spider Queen. The Spider Queen shot out another barrage of purple liquid at GentleBreeze, but this time GentleBreeze didn't bother dodging and just kept going. As poison rained down, GentleBreeze just kept sprinting towards the Spider Queen, as the tough scales on his body protected him, serving as an armor from taking too much damage.
Coming face to face with the Spider Queen, GentleBreeze swung his spear over his head, slashing the Spider Queen downwards horizontally. Then swiftly spinning around, he dragged the blade of his spear on the ground to gain momentum before diagonally (right to left) slashing upwards, followed by another diagonal upwards slash (left to right), inflicting three massive critical strikes as GentleBreeze completed 'Dragon Claw'.
The Spider Queen hissed at GentleBreeze as it lifted both of its front legs high in the air, before slamming them down with so much force; that once its legs landed on the ground, an huge cloud of dust exploded. Using the cloud of dust as cover, GentleBreeze utilized every skill available in his arsenal, while keeping himself well hidden and out of sight. The Spider Queen kept screeching and hissing in anger and despair as its multiple eyes tried their best to locate GentleBreeze. When the dust was about to settle, GentleBreeze took the chance and leaped high in air, behind the Spider Queen, then used 'Dragon Stomp'. Swiftly coming down, GenlteBreeze landed with so much force that his spear deeply pierced the Spider Queen's head, eating away the last of its fight and health. The fallen Spider Queen lay on the ground, leg still twitching, as its body slowly corrodes away. The small spiders all simultaneously dropped dead as well, when the Spider Queen's health hit zero.

Time 10:30 PM
"Finally!" Jae sighed out as he leaned back on the couch while stretching his legs and arms.
Turning his head to the long couch, Nico and Allyson are still busy discussing and planning for the charity showcase that Nico was assigned to direct and lead. Jae checked the time and noticed that it was already passed dinner time and all of them still haven't had dinner yet. Opening a web browser on his laptop, Jae scanned through the hotline deliveries before deciding on just getting pizza. Jae took his phone from the coffee table, beside his laptop, then dialed his chosen pizza place for delivery.
Nico and Allyson were still in deep discussion when suddenly the door bell rang, making them pause.
"Are you expecting someone?" Allyson asked
"No" Nico answered, confusion evident in his voice "Wonder who could it be?"
"Don't worry guys, it's for me" Jae announced, as he stood up from the floor and walked towards the front door with his wallet in hand.
Nico and Allyson gave each other confused looks as they wonder what was up.
Jae was greeted by the pizza delivery guy with a smile when Jae opened the door, before confirming if he was in the right place. Once Jae confirmed it was him who called, the pizza delivery guy took out Jae order from his delivery bag-
"That will be 1,350 pesos" The delivery guy informed Jae with a cheerful smile.
Jae fished out some cash in his wallet before giving it to the delivery guy.
"Thank you for ordering and hope you have a great rest of the day" The delivery guy said with a big smile after he took the payment (plus tip) and handed Jae his order.
"Thanks dude!" Jae thanked the delivery guy with a small smile before closing the door.
"I bought dinner" Jae said with a smile, as he walks back into the living room. "Why don't you guys rest for a while and eat; both of you have been planning for almost five hours non-stop."
"That's a good idea" Allyson said before swiftly standing up and ran to the bathroom.
"Yeah.... I guess we never noticed the time" Nico said with a deep sigh as he removed his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose.
After placing the two large boxes of pizza on the coffee table, Jae quickly went to the kitchen to grab some plates and cups for everyone before returning to the living room. When he returned to the living room, Allyson just came out of the bathroom and helped Jae carry the cups.
"So you bought pizza, huh?" Allyson teased with a single brow lifted, but inside she was very touched of Jae's thoughtfulness.
"Err... I didn't know what you guys liked and didn't want to disturb your guys' planning, so I just went ahead and decided for us" Jae said with a nervous laugh
"Thanks Jae!" Nico said with a grateful smile "Man, all this planning is making hungry. I won't wait for you guys!" Nico then grabbed a plate, then opened the first box. Taking a slice on his plate, Nico started eating without waiting for the others.
Allyson and Jae followed Nico's lead and grabbed a slice for themselves. The three of them ate as they chatted under the comfortable atmosphere, laughing and having a great time, which really helped in relieving some stress. As they chatted, Nico's phone dinged, when a notification came in. Nico grabbed his phone from the coffee table and took his time in unlocking his phone. Jea's brows furrowed when he saw how long it took for Nico to unlock his phone. Noticing Jae's reaction, Allyson couldn't help giggling-
"He has like three types of passwords to unlock his phone" Allyson informed the confused Jae "I honestly think it's overkill!"
Jae's eyes was filled with understanding and surprise, as he watched Nico swipe a pattern on his phone to enter his last and final password.
Unlocking the phone, Nico pressed on the latest notification that just came in, directing him to Rampage's official website. As he started skimming through the update, Nico's eyes widen in unexpected surprise.

The Rampage executives has finally chosen; The wait has finally come to an end. Rampage World get ready because this year's Asia Rampage Conference will officially be held in Singapore!....
Now, not only will Hysteria be attending the Asia Rampage Conference; Several individuals from Rampage's top teams from all over the world has confirmed to also make an appearance as well! Orochi's team captain, Yamato Nagi. Rising Sun's merciless vice-captain Kurosaki Ryu. The four brothers from Round Table Knights, Siegfried, Percival, Lancelot, and Vane Dragonborne. The pride of Obsidian Castle, Kristian Kostov. The harem king of Tsunder(E) Academy, Josh "Xell" Kim. Even the savage leader of Guilty Crown, Leo Ramírez. And the head goddess of Tarts, Diane "Black Berry Tart" Ténèbres will all be attending....
The Rampage executives would just like to make it clear, that the following professional players will not be competing for the sponsorship but will appear as VIP guests only. The professional players has expressed their clear intentions; that they will be attending the Rampage conference strictly for "research" and enjoyment purposes, and not to compete for the sponsorship....]
Jae and Allyson really got curious when they saw Nico's surprised expression, as he kept his focus on his phone.
"What's up?" Allyson asked in curiosity.
But instead of answering Allyson, Nico turned to Jae and asked "Have you seen the latest update on Rampage's website?"
"No.... I haven't, yet" Jae shook his head "Why?"
"Here, have a look" Nico just said, as he passed his phone to Jae.
Jae took Nico's phone, then started skimming through the news. It was safe to say that he was just as surprised as Nico, if not more.
"I know right?!" Nico just said, when he saw the surprise look on Jae's face.
"You guys! tell me what's happening!" Allyson demanded "Gimmie the phone!"
Jae silently passed Nico's phone to Allyson, as he still couldn't believe what he just read.
"Even Leo is going? Guilty Crown hate these kind of events, and yet Leo is still attending?" Jae said in disbelief
"With Hysteria's standing last season, It's clear that they're posing a great threat to everyone. Even more so now, that an unknown new player has been added to the team's roster. It was obvious that they'll be attending to study Hysteria's play style, especially the new comer Moon Bin's" Nico analyzed.
"Of course this people should be afraid! Jae defeated all of them last year!" Allyson huffed with annoyance "I mean, Jae did all the work last season and yet they're more scared of the new comer?!"
"Facing facts, that new comer has replaced Jae" Nico said in a straight forward manner "And if that new comer replaced Jae, who and I quote 'Did all the work last season', then that must mean that the new comer is better than Jae, or at least that's how everyone is thinking."
"Nico!" Allyson scolded through her gritted teeth. Telling Nico that Jae was sitting next to him, through her eyes.
"Allyson don't be mad at Nico." Jae said, coming into Nico's defense. "He was only stating facts." Jae said with a small smile, trying his best not to look too affected but still failed.
"Anyhow, I don't care how everyone thinks.... for me Jae will always be stronger that that new comer!" Allyson confidently said, laying out her beliefs.
"Thanks!" Jae said with a small smile, feeling a little better.
Feeling that the atmosphere has taken a little dip into awkward territory, Nico decided to change the conversation to a different topic, which helped the mood to improve by a lot.

'Dragon Claw' -*A skill that unleashes three powerful consecutive slashes that deals 100% critical damage. The skill can be activated three times, with a 4 second interval between each strike. If the skill isn't activated after the first strike, the skill will immediately go on cool down.
'Dragon Stomp' -*A skill that deals 50% of the user's strength, plus 100% of the user's inventory weight. It can only be used in midair.
Pre-ascension Quest -*Is a quest that every player needs to finish, in order for them to be deemed worthy of Ascending. The Pre-ascension quest is a ten part chain quest that requires players to finish various kinds of quests that will surly come in handy post-ascension. This quest serves as preparation for ever players before facing the real dangers that the Rampage world truly brings.
Ascension Quest -*Is a quest required for every player to finish in order for them to ascend and be able to level up pass 40, which not only makes one grow more powerful but also unlocks more powerful skill. Ascending also allows for players to unlocks certain games features that are otherwise blocked for players who still haven't ascended yet. (e.g. - Making self-made equipment, weapons and Avatar, Access to ranked PvPs, Access to the city of Lumia and many more.)*
Nico's Passwords -*Fingerprint scan, Passcode, Pattern-code.*
Orochi -*The team's name was inspired by a Japanese mythological creature, the Yamata no Orochi. Yamata no Orochi (八岐大蛇 (ヤマタノオロチ), "8-branched giant snake") or Orochi (大蛇), is a legendary 8-headed and 8-tailed Japanese dragon. Orochi is a Japanese team that specializes in slow executions through different kinds of DoT skills. Orochi was 6th place at last season's Rampage Worlds. The team is known to be very patient, calm and soft spoken; which was the cause of defeat for other arrogant teams last season who underestimated them.*
*Yamato Nagi -*Yamato was inspired by the Japanese battleship of the same name and Nagi (凪) means calm in Japanese. Together, the whole name means "Calm Battleship".*
Rising Sun -*The team's name was inspired by two things: First, Japan being known as "THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN" and second was from the title of a song from one of my all time favorite J-POP group "Rising Sun by EXILE". Rising Sun is a Japanese team (If you still haven't already figured it out yet XD) that is know to be a very passionate team. The teams consists of a wide array of personalities that sometimes clashes but agrees on one thing when it comes to the battlefield "Victory". Rising Sun Placed 9th at last season's Rampage Worlds.*
*Kurosaki Ryu -*Kurosaki is a combination of 黒 (koku, kuro, kuro.i, kuro.zumu) meaning "black" with 崎, 埼 or 嵜 (ki, sai, saki, misaki), all meaning "promontory" (崎 and 埼 have additional meanings of "cape" and "spit" while 嵜 has an additional meaning of "steep") and Ryu (竜) means Dragon. Together, the whole name means "A dragon who dwells on a black promontory".*
Round Table Knights -*The team's name was inspired by The Legend of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. Round Table Knight or simply RTK is a team who hails from The United Kingdom and was founded by the four brothers who also happen to be the team's core members as well. The team is know to be very formidable opponents on the battlefield, while very polite and chivalrous when out of it. RTK placed 3rd at last season's Rampage Worlds.
*Siegfried, Percival, Lancelot, and Vane Dragonborne -*The four brothers of Round Table Knight was inspired by four of my favorite characters, of the same name, from a game called Granblue Fantasy. In the game, the four were called "Dragon Knights", hence their last name "Dragonbourne"; Coming from the rootword "Dragon" and "Born".
Obsidian Castle -*The team's name was inspired by literally a castle made out of obsidian. Obsidian Castle is the pride of Bulgaria and houses the number one Arcane poet in the world. Contrasting to their play style, Obsidian Castle is known to be very cold by their professional peers. Obsidian Castle was knocked out by Hysteria on the semi-finals of last season's Rampage Worlds, causing a deep enmity between the two teams. Obsidian Castle placed 4th at last season's Rampage Worlds, after being defeated by Round Table Knights on a death match to determine their places.
*Kristian Kostov -*Is actually a name of real person. Kristian Konstantinov Kostov (Bulgarian: Кристиан Константинов Костов, Russian: Кристиа́н Константи́нов Ко́стов; born 15 March 2000) is a Bulgarian-Russian singer. He was a finalist in season one of The Voice Kids Russia and a runner-up in the fourth season of X Factor Bulgaria. He represented Bulgaria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "Beautiful Mess", finishing in 2nd place. In January 2019, Kostov was one of seven first batch singers who would be performing in the seventh season of Hunan Television's singing reality-competition Singer (previously I Am a Singer). ("Author speaking"- I first knew him from my love of Eurovision.)*
Tsunder(E) Academy -*("Author Speaking" - Okay... bare with me on this one, okay guys? Having watch too much of LilyPichu's Filler Arc on Youtube, my brain suddenly had this crazy idea of "What if I made a team consisting of only a single guy and the rest would be girls" since the guy co-host [Josh "Xell" Kim] was talking about how he likes harem so much, and thought how funny would that be?! At first I just brushed it off as a joke, but then the idea kept reappearing non-stop when I was in the process of making the teams. The idea was very persistent that it just refuses not to be heard; so in the end I decided to fully commit to the idea, even making the guy co-host as the captain of the team, fulfilling his wish of being in a harem. The team's name was also inspired from one of Filler Arc's episodes as well, when the guy co-host was talking about liking "Tsundere" anime girls. So I decided to make a little back story of him being accepted to a school that consists of only girls, that one would think that it was an exclusive school for girls, but in reality the school has always been co-ed. Being the only guy in the Academy, girls started to flock him from all direction but he was only attracted to that one pretty tsundere girl.... and the rest is history XD. The team name is pronounced as "Sunder" which means split apart, making the first letter almost silent. The first part of the team's name is written as "Tsunder(E)".). Having been brushed of as only a joke, no one really paid too much attention Tsunder(E) Academy. But slowly they sneaked up on their opponents, giving them the shock of their lives by defeating them one by one. In the end, as a team who only competed for the first time, Tsunder(E) Academy finished their glorious journey on 7th place at last season's Rampage Worlds, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with. Tsunder(E) Academy hails from America by the way.
Guilty Crown -*The team's name was inspired by an anime of the same title. A team known for being ruthless and savage on the battlefield, bowing to no one even if it cause them their life (figuratively and literally). Known for being infamous trouble makers and huge flirts in their outside life, while also known to be very kind and great human beings in their private lives. They prefer fighting with their fists, rather than hiding behind tanks. Guilty Crown is an exclusive all male team, that even their company staff is all male. Guilty Crown placed 5th place at last season's Rampage Worlds. Guilty Crown is proudly representing their country, Brazil.
*Leo Ramírez -* Leo is Latin for "Lion".*
Tarts -*The team's name was inspired by literally the pastry dish (Because, you know.. Desserts!). Tarts is the oldest and strongest all female team in the history of Rampage. Each member go by a specific kind of Tart, basing on their personality or play style. Just like their team name, the members of Tarts are very sweet and nice people. The first ever female team in the history of Rampage hails from Paris, France. Tarts placed 8th place at last season't Rampage Worlds.
*Diane "Black Berry Tart" Ténèbres -*Diane is the French form of Diana, which was the Roman goddess of the hunt and the moon. Ténèbres means Darkness in French. Together, the whole name means "A goddess who hunts in darkness, with the moon as her guide". Her nickname "Black Berry Tart" is associated with her last name, as one can only see pitch black in darkness, hence the fruit Black Berry.
