Is it possible to fall in love with him?

Christopher opened his eyes slightly and smiled when he saw Kaylee on his arm. On the other hand, Kaylee had already been awake, some time before Christopher woke up. She just pretended to be asleep. Last night was so sweet, and it was not a dream because she woke up in Christopher's arms.

None of them wanted to leave their place. Kaylee blinked when Christopher tightened his hugs. "Are you awake?"

Kaylee pressed her lips together. "Y-yeah."

Christopher caressed her shoulder. "Do you mind if we stay like this for a while?"

Kaylee gulped. "I-I don't mind."

--

Days passed. Christopher was almost done with all of the documents in his unit with Kaylee's help. They spend their time together while working and having fun at the same time. Christopher had just signed the document in his hand when she looked at a certain someone busy looking at the book in her hand. "What's that?" Christopher asked.

Kaylee looked at him and smiled. "It says that they wanted to make this book into a movie, and it's requested from J Entertainment."

Kaylee extended her hand and handed the book to Christopher. He took the book in Kaylee's hand.

"Come on, read this scene." She said as he pointed to a certain scene. Christopher looked at the book and read the certain scene Kaylee pointed out.

It's about a girl who can read minds. She was a product of an experiment by her father, a failed experiment to be exact. For her father, she was like the defected product. But because she was threatened badly. A demon within her was awakened.

Christopher placed the book on the table when he finished reading the scene. He looked at Kaylee, she was looking at him with her hand on her chin. "What do you think?"

"I have to ask the board directors about this, besides, I am not in charge of J Entertainment. Ethan took over the J Entertainment last year. I may be the CEO of Jarvis Empire, but this matter is based on his decisions." Christopher said as he looked at the woman beside him. Kaylee nodded.

"Why, do you like it?" He asked.

Kaylee looked at him and smiled. "I haven't read it yet, I somehow read some of it."

"Do you really love reading?"

Kaylee nodded. "I love to read different kinds of novels, though I have stopped reading since the day I lost my grandma." Kaylee smiled weakly. "I haven't had the time to read books since that day, so I have no choice."

Christopher held her hand. "You can read as many books as you can now, anytime you want."

Kaylee looked at him and smiled. "Thank you."

"It's nothing." Christopher stood up and put the document back in the bag. They manage to finish it all in due time.

"When will Liam come back?" Kaylee asked.

Christopher stopped for a moment and thought for a few seconds. "Tomorrow."

Kaylee held her nape as she nodded "I see."

'He's coming back already?' Kaylee thought to herself. She shook her head and stood up. 'What the hell am I thinking really? It is a good thing that he's coming back, in that case, Top doesn't have to deal with so much work, okay? '

Christopher frowned as he watched Kaylee leave the study room, shaking her head. When Christopher sorted all the documents in the study room, he left the room and looked for Kaylee.

In the living room, the flat-screen TV is on and Kaylee is lying on the couch with her eyes shut. Christopher looked at the woman lying on the couch, grabbed the remote control on the center table, and turned off the TV.

Christopher bent his knee and touched Kaylee's face with the back of his hand, Kaylee pursed her lips. Christopher smiled. "You're awake."

Kaylee slowly opened her eyes and looked at the man kneeling in front of her. "Y-yeah."

Christopher laughed, "Are you pretending to be asleep or just want to close your eyes?"

Kaylee looked away. "I don't know."

Christopher stood up, bent to kiss the woman's forehead, and carried her with his arm.

Kaylee's eyes widen. "What are you doing?"

"Taking you, to our room."

Kaylee blushed, "Put me down." She said with a low voice.

Christopher shook his head. "You should rest I know you're tired."

Kaylee put her arms around Christopher's neck and buried her face in Christopher's shoulder to hide her blushing face. "I can walk on my own." She said.

Christopher laughed. "But to me, it looks like you would prefer it if I carried you to our room.

Kaylee blinked. 'Eh?' Kaylee was about to pull away when Christopher held her back. "Stay still."

When they arrived in their room, Christopher lay down Kaylee on the bed and put the blanket on. "Now rest." Kaylee nodded as she held the blanket. "I will be outside." Christopher kissed Kaylee's lips before he left the room. When Christopher left the room, Kaylee held her left chest. "Is it possible to fall in love with him?"
