All yours

The next day, Christopher and Kaylee signed a new contract. They have already terminated their first contract. The only contract they have right now is the usual contract of an employee and employer.

If it's Christopher, he doesn't want Kaylee to work, but he knows that Kaylee would insist, and that's why he lets her do what she wants.

Kaylee, Christopher, and Liam were sitting on the couch and having lunch when the door suddenly opened. The three of them looked at the door simultaneously.

A man wearing a light blue long-sleeved polo shirt with a playful smile on his face stood beside the door. "Mind if I join you?"

Liam and Kaylee looked at Christopher, but Christopher didn't say anything. They looked back at the food in front of him. He placed his spoon and fork down on his plate without looking at the certain someone.

Kaylee was about to look at the man when Christopher held her hand. Instead of the man, Kaylee's eyes landed on her and Christopher's hand.

Kaylee didn't bother to look at the man. She understood what Christopher was trying to say when he held her hand.

That certain someone sat beside Liam with a smile on his face. He grinned as his and Christopher's eyes met.

The man looked at Kaylee. "Kaylee, right? Can you get me lunch, too?"

Christopher glared at him. "You can get your own lunch."

Christopher stood up and looked at Kaylee and Liam. Kaylee and Liam both understood him and stood up at the same time.

The man laughed. "Are you guys trying to avoid me?"

Christopher looked at him. "What do you think?"

The man grinned and forcefully held Christopher's arm as he whispered. "Do you think you can stop me, just by avoiding me? You won't be able to stop me as long as I'm still alive."

Christopher grinned. "Do you think I would let you succeed in your plan? I won't allow you, especially if it's related to her."

Ethan looked at Kaylee, let go of Christopher's arm, and laughed. "You mean Sofia?"

Christopher looked at Kaylee and smiled. He held her hand and looked at Ethan with a sweet smile on his face. "I mean her." He said as she showed their intertwined hands to Ethan. He looked at Liam and nodded.

As Christopher nodded Liam went beside Ethan and smiled. "This way, sir." He said as he escorted Ethan to leave the office.

Ethan glared at Liam. "Is this how you treat me?"

Liam smiled at him awkwardly. "Obviously. Be thankful because I at least escorted you out." He said and shut the door.

When Liam shut the door, Christopher gestured that he was going to the room. Liam nodded.

When Kaylee and Christopher entered the room, Christopher let go of Kaylee's hand. He loosened his tie and ran his fingers into his hair as he walked back and forth in the room.

Kaylee just stood there and looked at him. She blinked. "Hey. What's wrong?"

Christopher stopped and looked at her. He walked toward her and held her shoulder. "I wanted to protect you." He said as he held Kaylee's chin with his right hand. "But please promise me. Don't let Ethan get close to you, especially when I am not around."

Kaylee smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I promise." She said as she pressed her lips against his. 'He was so calm and collected in front of others but deep inside he was weak. He's afraid of his brother.' She thought to herself.

"All he wanted is all that I have, I don't know what he's planning to do."

Kaylee touched his jawline with her right index finger. "He can't have me. I'm all yours."
