Strange Call

In front of the sink, there stand a girl. She is currently washing her teeth, while staring at the mirror, seemingly pondering about something.

The girl isn't a great beauty, at least people will not feel uncomfortable while looking at her. On her face, there's no make up, not even a bit. All of her features are small, her face, nose, mouth, eyes and ears.

She looks pretty young, but only she knows, she's almost 20 years old this year. People keep guessing that she was a junior high school student or a first grade highschool student.

This young girl is our Female Lead, Adeline.

Adeline is a simple and ordinary girl, the one that you can find anywhere. She has been living an ordinary life for almost 20 years.

A boring life, if she can say. At least, in this boring life of her, she still has thing that she need to pursue.

Her normal life isn't really that good, for her, it has been normal enough. But for other people, her life can't be considered as a normal life.

While everyone happily hanging out with their friend, laughing and talking together, she still standing in front of her computer or laying on bed a whole day.

It's not that she is way too lazy to hang out with some people, but the real problem is that she doesn't have any friends that is willing to play with her.

At one time, she was wondering why no one ever want to play with her, they were in good term and she never cause trouble to any of them.

Until now, she still doesn't know the real reason behind that. She thought that since no one wanted to play with her, then she will not question it anymore.

There's also another thing, Adeline never got a feeling of being chased by a man. All her classmate in highschool always got a person to chase them, but all her days in highschool never has been filled with those kind of thing.

In her life, she has been in relationship with some of her online friends, but none of them can be considered as a serious relationship, because the relationship never last long, 3 months is the best record.

She has tried any kind of Long Distance Relationship, but she has never been in any normal distance relationship.

Awake from her thought, she washed her mouth and get out from the bathroom. She picked up her backpack and went to her university.

When she arrived at her university and went to her class, she saw one of her classmate along the way. 'Isn't the class going to start soon? Why is she here?' , Adeline thought.

As if sensing a gaze on her, the classmate turned her head and when she saw Adeline, she waved at her and telling her to come over.

Adeline nodded her head and walked over, the classmate just smiling and speak excitedly, "Today, Mr. Hufan can't come to the campus because of some important schedule, and he will be back in 2 weeks!"

Adeline frowned, Mr. Hufan will not come today? Then why she wake up early this morning?

She could understand why the classmate in front of her speak so excitedly, Mr. Hufan is known for his tight schedule and always give them a hard assignment, so the student never liked him.

Adeline can only sigh, "I understand, thankyou." , after saying that, she bid farewell and went somewhere else.

While she is walking absentmindedly, her phone suddenly rang. On the screen, there's a unknown number, her first thought is to ignore it. But the number keep calling her continuously until she feel annoyed and decided to pick it up.
