Next morning came, Daniel wrapped his arms around me. I finally had a good night sleep. As I traced his forehead, nose, and mouth... I smiled. I will really miss you, Daniel. I kissed him one more time. As he woke up, I told him I need to go. Daniel said, "Just one more time, I want to hug you one more time." 


Then, Daniel proposed to me, "Let's get married after you come back. Our child can be with us too."


"Yes, let's get married after I'm back." I smiled.


We hugged and kissed one more time until I have to go. 


"Don't cry, Daniel. I'll be back." I kissed his forehead, nose and lips. "Say daddy, we'll be back!" As I looked at my baby bump. Daniel kissed me one more time as he touched my lips. 


David picked us up when we got ready, we went to the airport together where we said our final goodbye. I hugged Daniel one final time and kissed him. When he reluctantly let go of my hand, I said, "Daniel, smile for me. I'll be back with Michael. Don't worry!!" 


As I turned away, I cried. I didn't want to leave. But if I didn't leave, Michael will be in danger. If I do something useful, Daniel will be happy that at least I helped his friend. 


I asked James to keep the recording I did last night... in secret. James will give it to him after I leave for Thailand.


I'm sorry Daniel, if I don't make it back on time... Remember the time we had together. Don't cry. I promise you I will protect our child. I love you. 


As I shed my final tear, I'm set to go. Goodbye, My love. 


"Sir, we need to go now. Miss. Yu will be fine. She won't be happy if you cry like this." James said. 


"Please take our Boss back home." James spoke to two bodyguards. 


"Please watch over him. If he does anything out of ordinary, you need to stop him." James told them. 


As Daniel left, James gave my recording to him. 


When Daniel got home, he didn't talk at all. His smile left him. All he did was listening to the recording I left for him. 


"Daniel, when you hear this recording...I'm probably off to Thailand. I understand you will worry about me and our child. I will try my best to keep our child safe. If I don't make it home, don't be angry. I know you will be cold hearted again. Don't sit there and be stubborn, you should smile more. I will try my best to make it back. Let's raise our child together if I come back. I asked my best friend to go over to our house. She will be there soon. Please let them know. She will be a great helper. Don't be sad at all the time. Smile. I love you, Daniel." 


Daniel kept on repeating the recording for the past couple of minutes. 


"Sir, someone is ringing the doorbell. Should I go and open it?" Daniel nodded. 


"Hi CEO Chen, I'm Shanshan, Xiao Yu's best friend. I'll be your temporary assistant for a while until Xiao Yu comes back." 


Daniel didn't say anything for the rest of the day. He stayed quiet for most of the day. 


*Daniel... I will promise I will be back* As I head into the airplane. David was sitting beside me and couple of other Daniel's people sitting behind me. As I touched my growing stomach, I said, "You have to be good to mommy okay? Mommy will protect you. Daddy is waiting for us. Be good for awhile, my sweet baby." 


I slept on the plane as the plane went straight to Thailand. Hoping all goes well so I can come back sooner.
