Mr. Blind CEO

When we got to the place, it was so eerie. Good thing no one is in sight yet.


We are actually trained in secret before getting employed at this company... just for this type of mission. 


David signalled first group to go through back door. The reason is that so the first group can give us a signal whether it is safe to proceed.. so they can use endoscope to track what's happening. 


"Second group, go to your position. Let us know when you're ready." 


"After they give use signal, we can go in." David told me. 


I nodded. A jolt of pain was in my stomach. I winced in pain. I placed my hand to my lower belly and whispered, "Be good, sweetie. Okay? Mommy have to rescue Michael. Be good." I finally calmed down and focused. I brushed off the sweat from my forehead. 


"They're ready... Let's go. You and you.. go first! Text one of us if you see Michael." 


"Endoscope ready, ready to transmit data to base." 


We hurried to the front door quietly and there was Michael. He was so pale. 


One of the guy tries to unlock the chain while other unlocks the other ones. 


"Michael, Michael! He needs to see a doctor, his injuries are too severe." 


"Wait, I brought gauze and tape. I'll clean the wound. David, can you ask them to check if Uncle Li is coming?" I said. 


As I hurriedly wrapping up the wound, I heard a footstep.


"David, I hear footsteps... quickly.. bring Michael back to the base." I handed Michael to David's two helper. As they went down to the secret passage.. I gave a sigh of relief. 


"Hahaha... I knew you'd come here. Long time no see, David. And you must be Daniel's new girlfriend, Crystal right?" Uncle Li appeared at the front door.


"Hmm so you rescued Michael I see, but he won't be able to live any longer. HAHAHA." The uncle laughed


"Group one, report to base. Reinforcement needed." 


"Roger. Reinforcement coming in 30 minutes." 


"Hm. This is getting interesting. If you guys report me to anyone, I'll kill Daniel's girlfriend right now." 


*Gosh why this uncle is so petty.. I rolled my eyes* 


"Are you threatening me right now? If you kill me,  you will be in jail forever." I said. 


"Jack! Hold her! Don't let her leave." 


"David, I'll be fine. Don't shoot right now." 


"Group2! You guys! go disarm their guns." David said. 


"Take that!" Wow.. he fainted quickly... 


"You think that will work on me?" I dodged that bullet just in time. 


Suddenly, I felt burning pain in my lower back.. I felt blood gushing out.


"David-d, don't worry. I won't die. You guys go first while you still can. I hear police coming. I...I... I'm sorry I got hurt. Don't tell Daniel I got shot. He... He's going to get mad. Tell him... not to be worried.. I'll see him a bit later..." I passed out. 


As the police arrives and the helicopters, Uncle Li got arrested. Michael been taken to the hospital for treatment. 


"Crystal! Don't die! Crystal!" I hear David screaming.. I can't wake up.. I hear you.. wait... is my baby ok?
