Mr. Blind CEO

As I looked back on those memories, it is indeed precious.


I looked at my three kids and I thought, "I'm so blessed to have them." 


Being a mother of three is challenging in every way. But, I do love being a mother. It is truly special. 


Starlight, who is 4, became a great helper in our family. Her sweet voice, chubby cheeks, and great smile... everyone loves her. 


Rose and Isabelle are twins, they are 3 years old. 


Very active bunch but they love helping. 


As I went out to buy some stuff, I left Starlight at home as she is a great helper to my husband. I brought Rose and Isabelle out so they can play a bit afterward at a playground. 


"Daddy, are you okay? Do you need a blanket?" Starlight looked worried as she looked at her father who seems to be in pain again. 


"Daddy, don't be scared. Starlight is here." As Starlight held her daddy's hand as Daniel tries to stay calm for Starlight.


"I'm fine, Starlight. The pain is on and off. Were you scared?" asked Daniel. 


"I'm not scared. I was worried about you." Starlight told Daniel. 


Daniel felt for Starlight's forehead and gently kissed her.


"Daddy is alright. Don't worry." Said Daniel.


"Hm. Daddy, you have to tell me if you're hurt. Don't hide it." As Starlight kissed her daddy, she brought her favorite books and started to read to Daniel.


Starlight looked happy as she sat on Daniel's lap, she carefully read every word so Daniel can follow. After she is done, she hugged Daniel. 


"Daddy, why do wear sunglasses? You're at home." Starlight asked. 


"Daddy's eyes are hurt so I cannot see... forever." Daniel said.


"Oh... can you take it off?" Starlight was curious.


"Sure." As Daniel took it off, Starlight looked at my eyes.


"Daddy, does it hurt? Can I touch it?" Starlight asked. 


"Sure, go ahead." As Starlight looked at it, she kissed Daniel's scarred eye and hugged him. "Daddy, I can be your eyes today. You don't need to be scared." As Starlight hugged Daniel, he started to cry. 


"Daddy, it's okay. It's okay if you're hurt. Don't cry. Starlight is here." As she held Daniel's hand, Starlight sang a song for Daniel.
