I felt miserable.

It had been a few years but still I hadn't shaken off my fear of what might be and my control over my supernatural powers would wax and wane as my body had still not achieved a state of stability.

When I had just arrived I had thought to just familiarise myself with Earth once again and then approach Superman.

Yet as I spent more and more time around Superman he couldn't help but be fearful of him. Superman was strong, ridiculously strong, he was strong enough to carry two warships on each shoulder plus fly in the air without strain or stress.

At this point in the world he did not have any major villains other than lex luthor who was constantly undermining his efforts or hiring goons to test out his latest weapons equipment on him yet he was unmoved.

At one point I even suspected that this was the justice lords universe.

Flying across continents oceans seas deserts mountains valleys made me realise quite a lot of things one of them was that I was strong but not at such a level that cut shrug off damage The suit which I wore was sometimes the only thing that it could help me channelize my strength properly and not over do it.

Which was very important as different from Superman. I had decided to live a life which was more interactive than his. I have a social circle, I have friends, relatives involved in clubs and participated in sports events. I was visible and that was something which was much more difficult than anything else I had tried earlier. Superman from the comics grew up hiding his powers and adopted a loner attitude, he didn't interact much, didn't attend birthdays, marriages or any other event or festivals that was not mandatory for him to attend.

Now that I was forced to confront him there was little I could do to avoid him.

Sooner or later he was going to come right in front of me and ask who I was? where was I from? and what was the reason that I was in hiding?

I could go truthful and tell him my reasons for the same at the same, at the same time I could deny everything. In both circumstances it would not be favorable for me.

If I said I was a kryptonian and kara recognise me I could be in a world of trouble or drama. I would always be under a suspicion.After all at the end of the day for a kryptonian I was a traitor to be more clear I was a traitor's son.

Apart from how I ended up here, there would also be a question of whether I knew about the planet's destruction or not, why didn't I raise an alarm or tell someone. Even though they would know themselves that me saying something would be akin to crying wolf.

And if I denied being a kryptonian sooner or later they would find out and kara in the circumstances would recognise me once she heard my name I could end up in a superhuman prison everything that I have said or done would be used against me or used in the manner that put me in a bad light.

Superman was a Paragon of virtue, truthfulness and justice he was someone you look up to and I did as well. I trusted him to do the right thing but those around him not so much there still wasn't a justice league or even any news of wonder woman and that by itself was showing how early I was in history. Additionally it's very possible that new villains would come out, the world was still getting used to people flying in the sky it didn't need more attention from the greater space.

I needed to meet Kara or at least find out if she recognised me. It could make a world of difference if she didn't I could simply announce myself as a superhero and help out with anything without any prejudice.

As I flew in the air I saw missile with unknown insignia approaching me at a high speed immediately activated all the defensive measures and flew up the missile follow followed me and kept rising as it flew higher and higher I could make out what it was it was definitely made bye buy leather here I was not even think thinking properly about how to make my day view and people were already throwing things at me and that too Superman's Aaj rival self proclaimed rival after reaching a certain height I stopped and turn myself invisible the missile immediately exploded and my surroundings were covered by green dust.

I didn't but I also knew that l was lucky and this was a probing attack he didn't do things in half measure and immediately I flew down from the Kryptonite cloud of dust and I could see 10 missiles of similar make flying at my position a quick scan through my X-ray vision confirmed that each missile contained different element in it and one even had a minor nuclear payload.

I thanked my suit for being so advanced that anything on this planet could not affect me so long I was wearing it at the same time it was a cause of concern if I was already being attacked by Luther. In this moment I was in his sights and now the world had become more dangerous than it was yesterday.
