The empress finished getting dressed and stood up getting ready to depart for the parliament and getting prepared for the same questions "have you chosen the next emperor, don't you think your eldest son is suited for the job," and finally "why don't you just give power to parliament," this was the thought that filled her with the most dread if those corrupt nobles got their grubby paws on the empire everyone would be affected and not in a good way.

Arthur woke up and got ready for another day of work at Williams shop getting ready for another day of labour in just a month Arthur had already changed from a scrawny malnourished kid to a muscular handsome young man however he was still brutally honest in the way he talked which could get him into trouble.

The empress got ready to leave for the court it was always a grand affair, with the people on the side of the road all wanting to get a look at her, her carriage would ride down the main road of Regnia reach the parliamentarian meeting place where they would meet every month to discuss the affairs of the kingdom it was always tiring for the empress who had to look out the window and smile and wave it was stifling.

Arthur looked out of the shop and saw a crowd all along the main street trying to get a look at something Arthur stood up and exited the shop locking the door behind him he pushed through the crowd looking at the carriage he saw someone who looked like his mother suddenly he was inside the carriage he hadn't even realised what had happened he had suddenly felt a rush of energy and had run forwards and had travelled faster than anyone could observe.

The empress was still waving when she saw the young man staring intently at her then he was gone and had appeared next to her she was stunned what had just happened.

Arthur was sat in the carriage when he suddenly felt the point of a sword on his throat and heard a male voice "who the hell are you and how in the name of Leonardo did you get in here," Arthur turned the man was dressed like a noble but spoke and acted like a commoner this man was actually Marcus Welan the current head of military and the empresses bodyguard Arthur turned to look at the empress slowly and said "she looked like my mother however my mother was prettier and her eyes were blue as this persons are green," "this person is the empress," the empress turned and said threateningly "and if your mother was even half as good looking as her she would have been fortunate since she was a commoner she could have earned a lot of money," Arthur instantly knew what this man meant, prostitution this made Arthur furious he could abide by much however anyone sullying his mothers name where going to be hurt Arthur stabbed Marcus in the thigh and took his sword by grabbing his wrist and twisting it round until the man dropped his sword because he felt like his arm would break Arthur then deftly caught the sword holding it to Marcus's stomach "do not insult my family," he said angrily and then he punched the man in the face to make sure he understood the message, sadly he also knocked the second most important man in the kingdom out.

Marcus woke up slowly seeing the empress staring intently at him "hello Marcus how was your sleep, "she said eyes twinkling as she tried to control her laughter. He sat up and gave her a threatening look and then he said threateningly "how old is he and who are his parents," the empress turned and looked at him and slowly began "he calls himself Arthur Phoenix and we don't know much about him however we know his mother claimed a rape charge against a noble her husband was killed when he tried to stop them however it took six royal guards to hurt him he only died from a lucky shot with an arrow after that Arthur looked after his mother until she carved out her eyes and hung herself after this Arthur set his own house alight only taking an old hunting bow and a kitchen knife he shot the nobles guards while he was riding in his carriage he then stabbed him between the legs and slit his wrist he is a very dangerous young man who could kill you and me before we blinked it took three royal guards (the best trained on the continent) to subdue him," she looked at Marcus and sighed "he is being looked after by a very powerful merchant currently after saving said merchants life however we have him imprisoned in the palaces dungeons currently,"
