First Lesson (2)

Those who lost almost everything they valued would always acquire an instinct to not let what little remained in them be lost too. Sometimes, something in their mind would break or be twisted. This would make them either paranoid or possessive.

Sometimes their mind would harbor extreme ideas too. Like destroying whoever or whatever tries to deprive them of their treasures. If they couldn't, then they'd carefully hid the precious people or things away, making sure they wouldn't be stolen. The concept was because they already tasted the feeling of losing many things important to them, they must become EXTRA careful and obsessive in keeping their remaining possessions.

It was just like imagination, there were times when what people could do to protect what they own could be way beyond everyone's comprehension and understanding.
