Heated Fight

From the arena they've been watching, most of the creature felt sympathy on her. They much know how capable is Leah from fighting, that if she would fight her there was no chance for her to win. They expect this to happen since that was her lethal move against her opponent. The fire she release has a different temparature compared to a normal fire. It was comparable to the molten hot lava from a volcano, that whichever it touches would burn and turn to ash.

Right now they were waiting, they expect any minutes the remains of her would be pile of ashes.

Several minutes passed the fire does not extinguished yet. The crowd started to wonder why, as well as the dragon inside the arena. She examine the figure of Mandy curled down the ground surface. Squinting her eye to see clearly her figure inside the fire, to only find her body was still intact. But, something change in her body, her body was glowing brightly. 'What's happening in her?'

Slowly the fire was diminishing, leaving a bluish and redish glow of Mandy's body. The whole audience gasp as they saw her figure, she slowly stand and turned around to observe what just happened to her body.

Mandy felt the heat of her body, she does not understand what just happened to her. She no longer feel the pain of burning flesh but rather a warm feeling from it.

"What are you?" she was back to her senses when she looked at the person who spoke. 'Right, I was still fighting this creature'.

"Sorry to disappoint you but neither could I answer that"

Leah could only see the dark hollow of her eyes and mouth. What really happened to her? Does she absorbed the heat of her fire? She braced herself what will Mandy do next.

She wasn't wrong when Mandy spring out to her, giving her a hard punch. The fire on her body help her to accelerate more in her movements. They exchange blow of punches and kicks to each other, that in the audience view a spark of their hits could only see. They were speechless for awhile but later on the crowd cheered on them. Excitement field the whole arena, they does not expect the turn of events but they gladly want to see more.

On the other side of the arena where the rulers was located, their attention was still on her. They were deeply thinking why would she still be alive, the idea of Mandy will be gone for good. They knew Leah could release so much heat from her breath to turn her to ashes, but it turns out she could still fight back alive.

'What kind of thing does her body made?'

'She surprisingly have an amazing ability, where does she get it'

'Is this a breakthrough for human experiments?'

'This is really a big mistake, the head master should have kept her away the academy'

Even the rulers have different thoughts of her. She just shown them how she would be a threat to them. Even she does not show fully her strength, but just by few of what she just shown them, she wasn't an ordinary creature anymore.

Back to the fight of the two creatures in the arena, they still continued to gave each other attacks. For the Mandy's side, she can land some of her punches and kicks but would still be countered attack by Leah. She can still match up the speed to her, as well as fly above the air without using any wings.

Leah was almost at her limit, she was now breathing heavily. Even if she land most of her attacks, she still couldn't take her down. Mandy was also out of breath from her consecutive attempt to attack her, but only to be blocked by her opponent.

"I'm surprised by your sudden change. But, is this the only thing you can do?"

She was just provoking her again, but it did reach Mandy. Mandy was frustrated how hard to defeat this creature, she does not know when her ability would support her.

"Just you wait, I'll definitely knock you down" Mandy accelerate her way towards Leah, as she ready her hard knuckles.

"Bring it on then" Leah was preparing for her attack, waiting for exact moment to counter her.

As Mandy touches Leah's stomach, Leah recovers from it and kick Mandy's stomach and elbow her back. Mandy was thrown into the floor, but Leah did not stop, she heaved deeply and blow a huge fire towards Mandy. She thought there's might be a limit for her to absorbed her fire.

Leah smirked, 'how's that? I'm sure you can't handle that'. The smoke disappear and shown the figure of Mandy unconscious. Her body was now a black charcoal, without the glow of fire.

"Ow! She's toasted!"

"She's totally roasted"

"Does the counting still exist?"

The place suddenly fell to silent, when they realized Leah was back to her stance to fight again. She was looking where Mandy was located, when they land their eyes towards her all their shocked face was shown.

A figure of glowing liquid was standing where she was earlier. It was like a molten liquid formed into a body, walking towards Leah. It suddenly lifts its hand and throw a liquid to her. It hit Leah's arm, which she thought won't penetrate her skin.

"Ahh! What is this thing?" she screamed as she tried to wipe it off in her skin. 'How does this thing penetrate in my hard skin?'

The liquid figure did not stop there, she throws several of it and hit most of Leah's body.

"Ahh!" She shouted and roll over the floor from the pain she feels. Her flesh was all exposed, and her normal form came back into greenish human like creature with a pointed ears, but she was unrecognizable from her exposed flesh.

"Don't ever come nearer" she was stepping back, but the liquid figure still won't stop come towards her. "Okay!Okay! I give up"

That's when the liquid figure stop moving, when it start to change its appearance. From the foot towards her head, it became Mandy's original body. She suddenly collapse infont of Leah.

It was several minutes of silent passed, until the crowd recover from what just happened. They shout to cheer on the winner of the event. Medical team arrived and carried both Mandy and Leah.

From the observation of the rulers, they now conclude what Mandy was capable of. Her ability should not be handled lightly, since it can cause trouble in the future comes. They leave the place with some new knowledge about her and the resolve they must do.
