# Chapter 4 Update (03/3/19)
Time Difference Ratios - the ratio from which time is perceived in a server. The time difference effect is the result of a research about how dreams and the subconscious perceive time. The neurotransmitting VR technology used today induces the brain to a semi-conscious state and alters the brain waves to emit in a similar pattern to how a person that dreams in a 1:2 time difference does. Alterations makes time difference possible to a maximum of a 1:10 time difference ratio. Any more than that and it'd make the brain too active to be easily controlled by the standard neurotransmitting VR technology. Rumours say that the government are trying to research possible alterations to run higher ratios of time difference to a human mind.
Note:
- CR Online is run in a 1:2 time difference ratio
- True Servers' Platform is run in a 1:1 time difference ratio or real-time
- Servers are obligated to warn first-time users if they use time-difference alterations.
CR Online In-Game Currency:
1. Gold Coins (The highest form of currency with the most value) [GLD]
2. Silver Coins (The most common currency for basic boss loot rewards) [SLV]
3. Copper Coins (The most common currency for basic quest rewards) [CPR]
4. Iron Coins (The lowest and cheapest form of currency) [IRN]
Note:
- The current exchange rates for in-game currency= 1 GLD : 10 SLV : 100 CPR : 1000 IRN
- The current exchange rates between USD and Gold Coins= 1 GLD : US$ 10
System-Generated Quests:
1. Main Quests (The default story/plotline of CR Online)
- Quests that are given after every player's tutorials. The easiest and least profitable way of gaining EXP and equipments but gives the highest possibility of finding hidden or secret rewards.
- Are recorded in the personal quest logs
2. Side Quests (Additional quests for players to do)
- Side Quests are randomly generated by the system. Conditions to trigger them are unknown and rumoured to also be randomly generated. Doing main quests gives the highest possibility for finding a side quest.
- Are recorded in the personal quest logs
3. Hidden Quests (Quests set within a certain time or place that gives generous rewards)
- A hidden quest is hidden, like its name proposes, in nearly every corner of every realms in CR Online. Hidden quests are repeatable as long as its original requirements are fulfilled (a certain time, place or action) but gives less rewards as a player repeats it more.
- Gives at least a Rare-Grade equipment or skill.
- Are recorded in the personal (and guild) quest logs
4. Guild Quests (Generic quests that are given to any member belonging to a guild)
- Quests that consists of maintenance, especially for a guild's territory and/or facilities. Also consists of daily quests which are more easily attainable than side quests.
- Normally easy and rather tedious and small things like cleaning up the streets or collecting materials. When in a system-arranged guild war, quests asking to eradicate a certain player or to conquer an area might appear. Higher ranked members of a guild has higher priority in these quests.
- Are recorded in the guild quest logs
5. Letter/Mail Quests (Quests aimed for high-profiled players or a group of players)
- Received through a letter in a player's public mailbox and accepted by writing a favourable reply through the mailbox directed to the sender of the letter quest along with its return address if any. It is unknown how or if it really is the system that automatically processes the replies and its recipient but a test by a foolish player showed that random or unfavourable replies and those with incorrect recipient and/or address results in quest failure.
- Generally given to players who belong to a rather high rank in a guild or players that are widely famous in CR Online. The intervals, frequency and contents of the quests are unknown. It is rumoured that a player who receives a lot of public letters have a higher chance of being given a mail quest. There are also rumours that mail quests have something to do with silver quests.
- Are recorded in the personal and guild quest logs
6. Silver Quests (Special quests that are mainly unknown to the players)
- An urban legend with no clear source about quests that are crazy impossible but rewards very generously from EXP to money to Divine-Grade equipments or skills. It is said that silver quests cannot be forfeited and always has an account permanent ban as a failure penalty. The system only briefly mentions the silver quests as a necessary transcendent quest that will change the world when completed. No records of such quests has appeared in any forum or online discussions.
- Are not recorded in the quest logs
7. Chaos' Prayers (???)
- A quest with **** ******* and only applies to ???
- ERROR: DIVINE INTERFERENCE DETECTED
- Erases ??? and gives ??? to ??? for an ******* ****** ** ****
- Nothing to worry about?
