Anyone who thinks that my story is ripped from a video game named "The Walking Dead " is true , the first few chapter (Chapters 1 to 5) are quite similar than those of the walking dead , it is because I wanted to introduce the characters in a much more apocalyptic way a writer could think , I was out of options , so I had to take a stand , anyone who thinks that why I took so long to tell this is that I was not knowing this game , when I came to know , I wrote this note so that there will be no misunderstanding.
Sorry for the delay. Please don't judge.

The whole nation was flooded with an unknown disease which  caused the residents to become flesh eating mutants
Rajesh a single man who is being charged for a murder teams up with a nine-year old girl and with some people to get to Mumbai as fast as possible and dodge Impossible obstacles , make hard breaking choices that will twist their relationship with each othe , kill people which will either build trust or hatred in others heart , make sacrifices to save their beloved ones.
But will their rivalries and differences come in between their survival ?

The Last Survivor

As Naina shot them Devansh also bashed them with a pocket knife , Rajesh was frantically looking for something to use as a weapon


"Hey Raj ! , Maybe we'll need a hand" Someone called , it was Fa Heng blocking the front door


Rajesh hurried their and luckily found an axe lying there  , he grabbed it and swung behind it's back and tucked it there


"If we don't make it through..." His voice trailed off


"We'll make it through this Devansh"  Raj screamed due to the soft growls


The undeads were poking their hand in the door


"Their gonna break in , Raj you have to decapitate their hands !" Naina said


Rajesh took a stance and sliced an arm , it fell to the floor 


Rajesh sliced all the arms as they all fell to the floor , they twitched a little but didn't move


Then their were loud smashing sounds and shattering of windshields 


They saw furniture overturning and lots of undeads pouring in


"They are everywhere , we have to do something" Devansh screamed


"Go , we'll take it from here" Rajesh motioned Naina


Naina left the door and shot a bullet just inches away from Rajesh's ear


"Hey ! Watch Out !" Rajesh screamed but Naina ignored it and kept shooting them


There was more chattering of windshields as a small window covered in a number of ply's burst open 


"Devansh You have to go , Don't worry about me" Rajesh urged


Devansh looked at him for a moment and sliced the hands poking from the window


Something really sharp scratched at his shirt , he knew it was the undead ready to eat his innards or outards 


Rajesh looked around and found a a splinter poking out of a drawer


Rajesh kicked it and it fell of , Rajesh squinted and finally stuck it between the handles


Rajesh ran looking back but accidentally bumped hard into a wall and fell - his vision blurring 


He got up but one of the undead forced him down,  Rajesh held it with one of its hand and with the other bashed its jaw


Its blood went splattering out in his face and saw its skull split in two with an axe protruding in between


"Ya can thank me later" Anil said as he brought his hand for Rajesh to hold


Rajesh grabbed it and ran full speed to the door , on the way he saw a plastic bottle labeled 


Rajesh didn't hesitate , he grabbed it and the last thing he saw before slamming the door was the undeads advancing and flooding the whole store 


They all scampered outside and ran straight for the road which splits about a mile high


Rajesh went to see Fa Heng who seemed to be crounching in a corner making disgusting barfing sounds 


"Um...Fa Heng ! Are you all right ?" Rajesh said as he advanced towards him , he rubbed his nose like he always did when he was nervous.


"Yeah , just uh....cutting myself some slack , that was enough decapitation for one day" Fa Heng said he held a wooden pillar for support and rummaging in his pocket.He pulled out a lighter and gave it to Rajesh.


"Uh...? , Well ? , Thanks ?" Rajesh said as he kept it back in his pocket.


"Well , it's nice to see you too hangin' along but we have some other business to take care of" Anil said emerging from behind his pickup truck.


"We have food , we have water and most importantly we got place to live in" Harpreet said dragging the rotting corpses into a heap.


"What might possibly go wrong ?" Rajesh said and he was answered by flowing abusive words , firing rounds , screams that rose out like a nightmare haunting it's people.


And at that moment only the lights went out.
