Am I awake!
Hi guys the names Duke Richards and I'm fifteen no scratch that sixteen now as it's my birthday today and at this very second I'm on the floor of my schoolbus which has been hijacked by some criminals for some reason I'm too scared to even think about let alone ask them, I've learned some strange things today even before leading to this situation so how about I tell you about my morning up until this point.
"Duke it's time to wake up, you'll be late for school" my mother yells at me from downstairs, I've actually been awake for awhile because I'm really excited I'm sixteen now and hopefully my parents got me the new Assassin's Bleed game for my pc, but not just that I had the strangest dream that my soul was taken for a spin through a white wormhole for what seemed like days, only to leave through a blue wormhole and back into my body again, it was such a strange and surreal dream but I couldn't spend all day thinking about it. Sliding out of bed I walk across to my bathroom, yes my very own bathroom in my room and have a quick shower before leaping downstairs three at a time for some breakfast. "Morning mum, what's for breakfast" I ask as I sit and pour myself a cup of orange juice, she stops what's she's doing and gives me a funny look before saying "Duke you know there's no breakfast today and no juice right now either, we're giving you your awakening injection today remember" now it was my turn to give her the funny look, what the hells an awakening injection. "What's an awakening injection mum and why am I getting one" as I'm asking her about it she pulls a small syringe with a vial of what looks like milk inside it and before I've even finished questioning her BAM she sticks it in my neck and releases the liquid into my body, I start to panic as I've no idea what it was inside the vial other than the word awakening in its name "ah jesus mum what was that, what did you just inject me with" I glare at her whilst clamping my hand other my now throbing neck "it's your awakening jab big baby everyone gets one the day they turn sixteen to unlock the mutant power dna in their bodies, are you feeling ok we went over all this last night and I thought you were excited to finally get your power" she says this to me while pouting at me like a kid.

An alarm goes off somewhere loudly I might add which gets my attention for a second before it's back on my mother "powers, what power I don't remember any Conversation like that mum" she's looking at me like I've said the worst joke ever, she then looks at the clock and starts to panic "Duke we'll talk about this later right now you better go and get the bus before it leaves you here" she walks over and lifts me off the chair and I mean lifts like she's the world's strongest woman, she then proceeds to carry me to the front door puts me down and gives me a quick peck on the cheek "ok baby have a good day at school and come straight home today where going out for dinner today" but just as she finishes saying this and closes the door I hear it again and this time it sounds louder and closer.

I get a fright this time and look around for the source of the noise but find nothing, just as I'm looking around I see the bus for school pull over so I run towards it luckily get to it before it leaves, problem is as I get on the bus and start walking down the ailse for a seat I was sent flying by what seemed like an electric shock, as I landed my head hit the floor and left me feeling dizzy and that's when it happened my power woke up and a blue screen appeared right in front of my eyes confusing alongaide the dizzyness.

My head started to clear up as I read all the information that appeared in front of me, at this point I was still on the floor not willing to move, My head hurt and I couldn't believe what my mum had said to me was true about powers. The only thing I could could think of was "Am I awake then"
And this leads back to the start of my story trapped on the floor of a bus with criminals holding us hostage, hopefully someone can save us soon because I might have powers now but I'm not ready to use them.
