After Lady Jaelah caned Lyra's kitchen staff, she celebrated with a feast for her and all her people while Lyra was busy moving her people around to supplement to loss of her cookers.
As night fell the aroma from Lady Jaelah's feast began to permeate the other residences, the smell made anyone who smelled it salivate.
Lyra, who also smelled Lady Jaelah's feast, could hardly wait to eat dinner. Unfortunately, the meal she sat down to could barely be called edible.
"I'm sorry, madam this is the best we could do. We don't usually cook... daily" One of the servants who work in laundry spoke up from the lackluster meal.
"It's quite alright...you did your best..." Lyra couldn't hold it against them, she would've had cooked the meals herself if Pia didn't remind her of her status.
"Thank you, Lady Lyra...I hope the kitchen staff can get well soon." The servant left happy as Lyra didn't blame her for the inadequate supper.
