When Mika saw that her warning to General Gilwneys was understood loud and clear, she finally gave all her attention to Ailwin. Unknown to her though, Ailwin had never taken his attention off of her for a second. He saw when Braeden tried to retake his place beside him and he saw Mika's clear warning.
He wanted to laugh but was afraid Mika might take it the wrong way.
"Is there anything you would like to buy at the shopping district?"
"Why? Are you going to buy it for me?"
"That depends on what it is..."
"You think I would spend all your money...?"
"Who was the one who made me pay the bill for a shop full of customers, just so you could get your sword."
"That was before I knew you, besides I did tell you it was mine. You didn't listen."
"And you wonder why I am skeptical about what you want me to buy."
"All right, how about we just get something to eat..."
"Okay."
