Smoking and fire started to fill the halls with each growing minute, but there was still a very large amount of rubble remaining.
"Ailwin, you can leav-" Braeden tried persuade his friend into leaving without him.
"Shut up!" Ailwin stopped Braeden from saying anything more. He needed to think of another way to get them out of the building.
Maybe we can jump it…
Glancing at his best friend's condition, he knew it would be impossible. Braeden was hardly taking in deep breaths and walking on his own, there was no way he was strong enough to jump from a fourth story window.
Glancing down at his arm his saw that his wristband was blinking.
"What is it, captain?"
"Sir, where are you and General Gilwenys? The soldiers are already loaded into the air carriers and the fire is just closer."
"Don't worry about us, and leave now."
"Sir…"
"That's an order! Go now!"
