Lock me out

When Mika turned around again, Ailwin could see the confusion and fear in her eyes but he wasn't going to let that sway him tonight.

"Ailwin…"

"I am in charge of this battle."

"Yes, I know but-"

"You know but you acted on your own?"

"I had a plan-"

"A plan you didn't bother to tell me about nor get approval for!" Ailwin slapped his thighs. The sound of it echoed throughout the cavern.

"Ailwin, I stopped the battle before it was brought to our doorstep. You should be thanking me, but instead your upset?" Mika took her legs out of the water as anger was wash over her.

"Yes, I'm upset. Mikaela."

"I can't believe this! Why!? We didn't lose any soldiers, no one got hurt. We are in prime shape to face off against King Thallan's army."

"Tell me what you did, Mikaela."

Seeing his stern attitude, Mika gave in and told him the plan she executed tonight.

"Fine."
