A Week

"What?" Braeden looked at Mika, shocked just as everyone else in the room was.

"We kidnap them." Mika said again just in case no one had heard her the first time.

"Mika, we all heard you. It's what you said that has all of us confused." Nylian clarified.

"How can you be confused about kidnapping? It's the act of taking someone without their permission-"

"Mikaela…" Huey called out, interrupting her, "...we know what kidnapping means. What we want to know is why you think us something like that would be a good idea?"

Mika looked around the room, "...because it is."

Her three brothers looked at each other. Was their sister always like this? 

"Mikaela, please explain yourself." Zo sat down, waiting for her to elaborate.
