Seeing Through His Facade

The guards in the watchtower called down to their Commander.

They had noticed strange movements in the enemy's camp and now they could hear screams and shouts.

Ailwin rushed to the top of the tower and peered through their binoculars.

He could see a lot of enemy soldiers running, trying to escape something from something within their camp but he couldn't see what it is.

One of the warships suddenly took off  in the opposite direct of their city, "what the…"

Ailwin didn't think the enemy is about to do a night raid as they were being far too loud, but he isn't going to rule it out.

Passing the binoculars back, Ailwin told the guards to keep watching and report any further changes happening in the enemy's camp to him immediately.

"Yes, sir!"

Back in the command station he comm'd the others and told them what he saw, asking for their opinions on the matter.
