Retirement

Sitting quite comfortably in the only chair in his room, was a male Haryk hoped to never see again.

"How did you-"

"Find you?... It was easy. We never stop monitoring you, no matter where you went." The male smiled when Haryk heard the news, "Did you really think we would allow you to leave us after everything you knew. No, the only reason you are still alive is because you haven't done anything to go against us. However, today that can change, because today, I have a job for you to complete."

"Paeris, I can't do those things anymore…" Haryk sighed and backed away from the other male.

"You can and you will." Paeris smiled before moving to stand in front of the younger male. "...Or the least of your worries will be your father finding out about your identity."

Turning to look back at the table, "I left the location on the table be there tomorrow." After leaving his parting words, Paeris disappeared like smoke from the room.
