When the day was over several soldiers got news that they will be transferring to a new military base. The news was both happy and sad for some.

For Iolas it was great news. He was finally going to get out from under the Squadron leader's boots.

At home, Iolas walked inside to share the good news with Lula. "Pack up, we are leaving."

Surprised, Lula stopped what she was doing. "Where are we going?"

"Crystal City." His eyes gleamed with delight.

Lula got quiet. Her life in Kaia hadn't been the same as before. Both she and Iolas had to work everyday to feed themselves and make a living as General Pho hadn't been providing for them like he said he would.

Though the life was harder than before it was also easier too.

Her mother was gone, so was General Pho and his wife; and with most of Kaian nobles families in another place, she didn't have to walk around with her head low.
