Ch. 010

Xiayou was looking out the classroom window, her and Daniel sat at the far back with the huge window by her side. Daniel didn't arrive yet, it was really worrying Xiayou, isn't a nerd supposed to be here early?

Just then the door swung open, followed by a panting boy who looked like he was about to burst. Xiayou noticed it was Daniel, without thinking she burst out to really loud laughter. Everyone was looking at her, Daniel was glaring at her, he smirked and took this as an opportunity to embarrass her. "HEY, HOW ARE YOU POOH BEAR! I MISSED YOU!" Daniel yelled the rest of the class turned their nosy heads to Xiayou who stopped laughing. She glared at Daniel who smiled in satisfaction. Ms. Wang was beginning to give up and taking the two outside, it was completely pointless as they never learned. Daniel apologized for being late, he bowed and made his way to his seat while he felt the glare cut into him. "Okay, I'm sorry! I had to I couldn't resist!" Daniel said with a apologetic look in his eyes. "Whatever D-A-N-N-Y!" Xiayou laughed as slumped back at her seat knowing that Daniel was going to actually pay attention to the lesson.

"Why are you such a nerd?" Xiayou whispered to a focused Daniel. "Because, I like this," Daniel said never looking away from the teacher. "But it's so booooooring!" Xiayou held the 'o' a little longer than necessary. "No it's not, pay attention and you won't be bored." Daniel didn't even look at Xiayou, he was too focused on the question he was now beginning to answer. Xiayou puffed her cheeks out and glared at him yet again. "What a nerd!" She scoffed saying loud enough for him to hear. "And this nerd is your boyfriend isn't he?" Daniel said now looking at a shocked blushing Xiayou. "S-Shut up jerk! It's fake remember!"

"Then why are you blushing so much?"

"Because! You caught me off guard!"

"Sure."

"Just do your work, you nerd!"

"Whatever you say Pooh Bear."

"Stop calling me that!"

"Sure, sweetie!"

"ARGH!"

"Do you two at the back have anything important to discuss?" Said the now angry Ms. Wang who now had visible smoke steaming out of her ears.

"No sorry Miss!" They both said at the same time. Xiayou started crackling softly under her breath, if it's one thing that amazes her it's seeing one teacher get extremely angry. "Now, let's begin with the lesson shall we?" Xiayou did a exaggerating bow as everyone in the class began to burst out laughing. Ms. Wang was now at her limit, she began to slowly calm herself down. Must we add, that was her third chalk stick she broke out of frustration.

Xiayou was so bored staring out the window and found herself slowly drift to sleep. She began to think about all the nicknames Daniel had already given her, deciding that she must now come up with new names for him, this was war for her.

"Xiayou, Xiayou, Xiayou!" Daniel said repeatedly.

"Wake up!" Still no answer not even a single movement. Daniel stared down at her, he looked and absorbed her features. 'She really is cute.' He whispered to himself. "Xiayou, I brought snacks!"

And with that she practically floated from her seat. "For me?" She answered groggy wiping her tired eyes. "No, Xiayou, for the chair! Of course for you!"

"OH FUCK YOU!" And with that she took the snacks and zoomed her what out of there.
