(Jacob's POV)
Luna was still in somewhat shock. I can understand why. She just found out something about her life that she never knew.
After a little while, she finally spoke. "I'm a Banshee Werewolf? How is that even possible?" She asked looking at me with a confused face. "I honestly don't know myself. I haven't heard of a Banshee werewolf since my parents talked about them when I was a child. The last known Banshee werewolf lived like thousands of years, but yet here you are." I replied to her.
I went through a drawer in my desk and took out a book. It was a book about the Banshee werewolf. I handed it to her and she opened it. She skimmed through the pages, but she brought her attention back to me.
"No. There is no way I'm a Banshee werewolf" she said in disbelief while closing the book and started to pace around the room. I knew she wouldn't believe at first. I mean who can believe something it like that.
"Wait... what do you mean you had your suspicions?" she asked with a confused look. I took a deep breath and explained it to her. "It started at first when you ran out of dining room that time when we first had breakfast before we went for a run and transformed. You ran out of the room so fast that if you blinked no one would have even known you were there."
"The second time was when I went to the site where we were captured by your father. I examined all the dead bodies and found that they had no wounds on them. The only thing they had was blood coming from their ears, except for the people that were the ones holding you back. They were in millions of pieces. It was like they exploded. For the people that were close to me were the ones with blood running down their ears. I had them examined by Nathan and when he looked at the brains of the people, there wasn't anything but goo. Their brains were literally liquefied."
"The third time was the nightmare you had. Except it wasn't a nightmare. The nightmare you had was actually a vision. It was a vision of our future if you didn't know who you truly were. If I had kept this hidden from you then that would have happened to us. I know it sounds selfish on my end for not telling you sooner, but I had to make sure I was right about this."
After I finished talking, she looked even more confused and shock than before. I literally just threw all that at her at once. "I think I need to lay down right now" she said as she walked towards the couch and layed down.
We didn't say a word so she can process this. It took a couple of minutes, but she slowly sat up. "What did I do exactly that turned those people's brains into mush and those people "explode"?" she asked as her head was lowered to the floor.
I was curious too when I found this evidence, but I knew the answer already so I asked her "What do you remember from that night?". She looked up from the floor and stared at me. Her eyes looked liked they were about to cry. "I remember them beating you to a bloody pulp. I remember me screaming for them to stop. Then all I saw was red afterwards. When I finally was able to control myself, I looked around and saw dead bodies everywhere. Then I went to you. I picked you up and ran here and then I ran away." she answered.
Nathan grabbed a tissue and gave it to her. "You do notice that you just answered your own question." I said to her and she gave me a confused look. "You did your Banshee scream. When someone does a Banshee scream people near them and literally explode, but people from afar can literally feel their brain turning into mush hearing it because of the high pitch. It is very dangerous if the host does not know what they are doing. I knew the answer to your question already because I found yesterday night. You did your Banshee scream during your nightmare and I had to wake you."
Luna's face showed no expression and her eyes just stared at me. It sent chills down my spine. "If that is true then how come it doesn't affect you? You were there both times I did the scream and nothing happened to you."
I didn't know the answer either. So I just shrugged my shoulders. Then I said "This is why we need to know what other powers you possess. Which means training. You and I are going to train every week from now on. End of discussion." She looked at me still with no expression.
She then let out a sigh and said "Fine. Whatever." She got up from the couch and started walking to the door. I was shocked by this. She accepted it like it was nothing. "That's all you have to say?" I asked her and she stopped and turned to me. "Jacob, right now I don't know what to think. I don't know how to feel right now. I'm happy you told me this instead of keeping it from me, but its just hard to process this. I'll eventually process it, but right now I just need time to think. I'm going for a run."
With that, she walked out of the room. I let a sigh and looked at Nathan. "Do you think she will be okay?" I asked and he replied "She is a strong woman. I mean she has delt with you for a while now so I think she will be ok." I laughed at his statement and punched him in the shoulder. "Let's get to work." he said and I nodded.
