Everyone who ran away from the sect started flooding back due to the Sect Leaders orders. Most of the outer disciples and servants were put to work by putting out the remaining fires and rebuilding some of the burnt buildings.
Elder Ning commenced the meeting with a strategy against the 9 Emperor Sect and the Wilderness Spirit Sect, "The Main Sect has decided to stop all trade with the 9 Emperor Sect and to warn them that if they cause any further transgressions then we will have to respond to this threat. The 9 Emperor Sect has become more and more domineering but since their Patriarch is at a crucial part of his cultivation if he isn't supplied with pills all the progress he has made will regress and he might backlash. We will deploy some of the Sect's Protector Deacons just in case but there is a low chance of any further conflict. "
Everyone in the room nodded but most of their attention was placed on the boy behind him, this was Meng Hao the new Guest Elder of the Verdant Supreme Sect. This status was above what any of the people in this room could ever dream of. Patriarch Wei spoke, "Thank you 1st Protector Ning, we bid you a safe journey back to the Main Sect."
Elder Ning nodded his head and so he and Meng Hao walked out of the sect hall. Elder Ning summoned a flying sword and turned around "You ready to go to the sect, once we reach the sect you will be initiated as the Guest Elder. I am guessing the Sect Leader has already broken through, he should have broken through to the Spirit Fusion Stage. He will be very pleased to meet you."
Meng Hao nodded his head and jumped on the back of the flying sword, Meng Hao looked through the memories and found out that Dragon Slaughterer had a flying sword refinement method and the sword was called the 'Devil's Wind Sword'. The shortsword itself specialized in speed and sharpness, as long as one was skilled in quick slashes and dodging then the sword's full potential could be shown. Meng Hao himself needed a weapon to use when he wasn't able to use the bow, and the knife was good but was flawed in accuracy and range. During his fight with the Defiant Tribulation, the knife played a key role in defending himself but it also showed some of its flaws.
Meng Hao knew that the Devil's Wind Sword is perfect for him but the items needed to forge the weapon is difficult to get. Meng Hao asked Elder Ning "Elder, I need Nether Iron, Black Steel, Crimson Blood Wood, and Ghost Tear Wood. Does the sect have these things?"
Elder Ning was surprised that Meng Hao knew so much about forging materials "Yes, but all of that stuff would cost about 12,000 Merit Points and that would take years to build up. Right now I have about 5,000 Elder Points I will be saving up for a Spirit Converging Pill so when I reach Peak Spirit Refinement Stage I can break through to the Spirit Fusion Stage with no problems."
Meng Hao nodded his head, he was surprised that the sect has these materials, it looked like he was looking down on the 1 Star sects too much. Between the time that these legendary cultivators lived and Meng Hao's birth, hundreds of thousands of years could of went by and so a lot have changed as well.
Meng Hao compiled all his thoughts when he saw the Verdant Supreme Alchemy Sect in the distance. Elder Ning turned around to see Meng Hao's expression but he just saw a face with no emotions at all. He was kind of disappointed but he didn't think too hard, Elder Ning knew with Meng Hao's talents this sect was probably just a stepping stone towards his greater success.
The sect itself was way larger than the other branch sect and there were tons of disciples roaming the streets and almost every disciple's house had smoke flying out of the chimney, there was a strict quota of the number of pills a disciple had to produce a month and if one failed to meet the quota then they would be severely punished. But there is also a benefit that if someone goes over the quota then they would get Sect Points to spend on pills for cultivation and other items.
Elder Ning brought Meng Hao to a large building called the Elder Pavillion which was just a hub for all things related to those with the Elder Status including a place where elders could redeem Merit Points, the meeting area for special events, etc.
Elder Ning belonged to the Protector Palace which is as the name implies, the protectors of the sect. The people who belong to the Protector palace focus more on cultivation unlike the rest of the sect but their power shouldn't be underestimated as the Protector Palace have power over both internal and external issues.
The protectors get pills to fuel their cultivation and so all of their cultivations are high. The Protectors of the Verdant Supreme Alchemy Sect are feared both inside and outside the sect.
So when they saw the 1st Protector of the sect leading a young Qi Movement Stage Cultivator into the Elder Pavillion which was restricted to only Elders the people who witnessed this were very confused.
Elder Ning led Meng Hao into an office with the name 'Elder He' on the top. Inside the office was a middle aged man with a thick brown beared and squinted eyes, Elder Ning bowed and said "Elder He, this young one's name is Meng Hao and he is the new Guest Elder of our sect. Can you contact the Sect Leader because I need to speak with him."
