Jealousy

"Ah, he must be hopping mad right now." Jaejin grinned. He sounded like he was pitying Minho but his expression showed the exact opposite.

Looking at the man beside her, Sujin sighed with a dejected expression on her face. Noticing her sigh, Jaejin cupped her face in his hands and tilted it towards him.

"What's wrong? Why are you sighing?"

"Tsk. Let go." Sujin forcefully pulled on her face, struggling to be freed from his grasp.

"Just stay still." Jaejin firmly held her back. His eyes didn't waver and he stared at Sujin's face as if he wanted to remember every inch and pores of her face.

It was uncomfortable for Sujin, of course. Being stared at her old crush at this close proximity would obviously rekindle the old flame in her heart even just for a bit. She could feel her blood rushed to her face as her cheeks started to feel hot.

It was so cold yet she felt feverish. Not because she felt sick but it was because her old crush was holding her face closely. How embarrassing!

"You're flushing red. Are you sick?" Without waiting for her reply, he put his forehead on hers.

There was only one thing in Sujin's head at the exact moment; Could I faint right now?

"I'm alright. Don't mind me." Sujin pushed against Jaejin's chest hard, struggling to get her freedom back. As soon as she regained her freedom, she turned her back towards him and hid her face in her hands.

The world seemed a bit blur for her. Her mind was a mess and her heart seemed to beat so hard that she was afraid he could hear it.

Waa, I must be crazy! Why did my heart choose to beat madly at this time? What? Was the old flame being rekindled again?

Slapping her own cheeks lightly, she forced herself to calm down. Jaejin was a friend, a very good friend. She didn't need other feelings to meddle with their relationship. Being friends was good enough for her.

"Sujin-aa..." She turned to look at him again. This time, her expression had returned to how it was before. "Are you really okay?" The worry look in his face was sincere and her heart went erratic again.

Damn you, heart! Could you, please, give me a moment of peace?

Scolding herself inwardly, she tried to maintain her expressionless face after coughing into her hand lightly. "I'm fine." She looked like she brushed it off casually, but Jaejin would never know that her heart was having a fight inside.

"Then, let's have a dinner together tonight." Jaejin sounded enthusiastic.

"Whatever." Sujin rolled her eyes as she hid her face in her scarf even further.

"Give me your phone." Jaejin stretched his hand out towards her with a demanding look on his face.

On the other hand, Sujin shot him an incredulous look but she didn't make any move to hand him her phone at all.

"Just give me your phone." Jaejin reached out to take the phone from her coat pocket, ignoring the startling shriek coming from her.

"Yaa, are you crazy?! How could you do that?" Sujin glared at him in disbelief.

"Do what?" Jaejin answered casually while typing on her phone. "I see that your password is still the same." He smirked before he continued typing.

"What are you doing?" Sujin's eyes widened and she tiptoed to take her phone back. Why would there be a sense of deja vu in her memory?

Ah, it was the same method when the both of them took her phone number back then. It was just... back then she was still in shock that she couldn't do anything.

This time, however, she was not in a daze so she fought back.

It was too bad that she was just too short for Jaejin. Back then, she could topple them a bit if they used their height to their advantage -most of the time they dropped their guard around her that's why she could do it to them, hurting their pride as men. This time, Jaejin had prepared himself so well. His body didn't budge and five years worth of workout definitely gave him the best result he expected.

However, it didn't make Sujin waver or run out of ideas. With her small figure, she nimbly climbed on him and snatched her phone back successfully. She either purposely ignored his stiffened body or she didn't pay attention to the way his body went rigid as soon as she climbed over him. Either way, when Jaejin snapped back to his senses and yelled at her with half of his face flushed red, she had landed on her feet on the ground again while checking on her phone.

"YA!" He was bewildered with what had happened. He was pointing his shaking finger at her as his eyes were still glaring at her.

"What?" Sujin looked at him innocently. She didn't think that what she had done was something bad.

Well, it might the first, but he should have got used to it after being tackled to the ground by her countless time, right? Surely that much of skinskip and intimacy was nothing between them, right? After all, they had not considered her as a girl before and always acted as they pleased.

"Who taught you that?" Jaejin inquired. He still looked shocked for whatever reason he had in mind.

Sujin arched her left eyebrow questioningly. What did he mean by that? Taught what?

"Don't look at me with... that look!" He pointed at his own face with his hand in frustration, waving like a frustrated aunty. "Who taught you to climb a person like that? It's not something that you can do in a pinch! You must have learned it before. Someone must have taught you that! Tell me, who is it?"

"Why are you acting like a jealous boyfriend?" Sujin chuckled.
