Omega: Surprises... Don’t Like Them

Omega reaches the hanger with hostile activity being detected. All seems quiet.

Omega dismounts the MagnusMobile, and proceeds to the hanger.

Inside the hanger is massive as two football-sized fields, with army vehicles scattered around. Very few lighting lights the hanger, but still makes everything in the hanger visible enough.

"Alexander Stephenson!" Omega shouts at the top of his lungs.

Omega reaches the centre of the hanger, and looks around. No sign of the cultist leader.

"Damn it you bastard!" Omega continues to shout as he keeps looking around.

He then stops. Looking forward, with his eyes wide open.

"Hello Omega..."

Ariel Magnus stands in front of Omega, having appeared from out of nowhere.

"Ariel?" Omega says in disbelief, "What the hell are you doing here? Where's Alexander?"

"I said I oppose Alexander's vision." Ariel said calmly, "I never said I wasn't helping him out a little."

In an instant, five dozen armed cultists surround Omega, with their assault rifles trained on him.

"Obviously it would've been a lot having you and Stormy on his back, so they wanted me to keep you distracted. Knowing full well it'll work given that you still have feelings for me." Ariel continues to speak calmly,

Omega is completely shocked, having been outsmarted by Ariel again.

"It's not too late to join me Omega." Ariel continues to speak, "We can be together, we can have something wonderful together."

Ariel walks slowly towards Omega.

"I always loved you... We can have a life together. You and me, we can do wonderful things together."

Omega is taken aback by Ariel's confession, but proceeds to take a step back.

"Ariel..." Omega starts to speak, "I don't have those kind of feelings for you, I never did."

Ariel is taken aback by Omega's words. She starts to cry, and then an angry expression appears on her face.

"I love you!" Ariel shouts, "And you can't say the same thing?"

"You were my friend!" Omega shouts as he starts to cry, "Isn't that enough?"

"I'm not good enough for you?" Ariel shouts, "And yet Tengge was good enough?"

Omega is rendered speechless, with a shock expression on his face.

"What?" Omega lets out. He never told Ariel about Tengge Hunter.

"Oh yeah, your original partner Nami Magnus!" Ariel continues to shout, "I knew about her! I hated that bitch! She stole you from me! I'm the one who rigged that building to blow all those years ago! I wanted her dead!"

The confession from Ariel broke Omega down. The building that exploded when Tengge was still inside. He always thought it was an accident.

With tears streaming down his eyes, his fists clench, shaking with rage.

"How dare you thrust me aside for a ninja whore!" Ariel continues to shout in anger, "After everything I've done for you, you want to fuck some purple-haired bitch? Killing her was literally the greatest thing I ever did!"

A deep rage develops inside Omega, one that hasn't been inside him ever.

He starts to breathe heavily, the anger continuing to build up inside him.

"You ease up!" An armed cultist steps in to control Omega.

Omega snatches the assault rifle from the guard.

He delivers a vicious right cross to the guard's helmet. The helmet being completely destroyed.

The guard is sent to the floor, with blood seeping from his helmet.

It was the first time Omega punched someone with full force.

With the assault rifle in hand, he aims the weapon at Ariel's face. The other guards move in slightly, with their weapons still trained on him.

"Oh! You finally found that killer instinct?" Ariel says with joy.

"You murdered Tengge!" Omega shouts with emotion, "I loved her! She was my world! And you took her from me!"

"I was supposed to be your world!" Ariel shouts.

"No! You're dead to me now! Ariel Queen, Ariel Magnus or whatever you called yourself! What little regret and pity I had for you is gone!"

"I'm dead to you? Well, there goes my one chance at being happy I guess..."

"Go fuck yourself Ariel!"

"Then pull the trigger!" Ariel steps forward and lays her forehead against the barrel of the rifle. "Do it! Put me out of my misery! If you have the balls to actually throw your moral code away! I'm sure that whore would love to see you for what you are now!"

Just as Ariel says this,

An explosion emits from the hanger's entrance.

"All units move in!"

Another force of soldiers enter, firing their weapons at armed cultists with more cultists coming in to meet the incoming force. The guards firing back, all fall in succession one by one, being taken out by the force of soldiers.

With only five left surrounding Omega, they advance towards Omega Magnus.

Dropping the assault rifle, Omega rushes towards the remaining guards.

A right handed punch takes out the first, a side elbow takes out the second, a right side kick takes out the third, a spinning back kick takes out the fourth and a spinning roundhouse kick takes out the last guard.

With all the guards taken out. Ariel is left standing.

Omega pulls out his dual blasters and aims them at Ariel.

"Going back with the moral code?" Ariel says loudly, "You're getting predictable."

"Don't get me wrong!" Omega shouts, "You're going down! I'll make sure of it!"

The force of soldiers move in.

They're being led by Delta Magnus, Omega Magnus' father and a helmet wearing soldier barking orders.

"Surrender! Now!" Dallas shouts."

"Perhaps another time." Ariel says as she drops a smoke pellet.

With smoke emitting around the area, Ariel makes a quick escape.

"Dammit! Dammit"

Omega drops to his knees, dropping his blasters, and repeatedly hitting the ground with his right hand.

"No!"

He finally breaks down crying.

Dallas, his father, runs over to him, gets down and puts his arm around Omega.

"Are you alright?" He asks, being greatly concerned,

"She killed her!" Omega says, still crying, "She killed Tengge! The woman I loved, she murdered!"

Dallas is in shock. He love Tengge, going so far as seeing her as his own daughter.

"Oh God!" Dallas is taken aback by the revelation, but quickly composes himself.

"Listen, Stormy has already infiltrated the silo. We're going to back her up."

"I wanted to kill her so bad! I wanted Ariel dead!"

"Don't! Tengge wouldn't want you to go down that path!"

Omega continues to cry, Dallas places his hands on his son's shoulders.

"We need you. This city needs you. Toni needs you."

Omega looks at his father. The helmet wearing soldier with Dallas crouched next to him.

"Now you're revealing our identities to strangers?"

"He ain't a stranger. Matter of fact, he's helped us more than you can imagine.

The soldier takes off his helmet. Omega is in disbelief.

"Mayor Damian?" Omega says in shock.

The Lord Mayor, Charles Damian looks at Omega with a smile on his face.

"Your father and I go way back. We're war buddies." Charles says, "I called in a favor from the military. Heck. how do you think a vigilante is able to get so much done without a government cracking down? I did it as a favor for Dallas. And trust me, I'm glad I did."

He places his hand on Omega's shoulder.

"Steven, I need you. This city needs you. You are the hero this city deserves. Don't abandon us now. I'm sure Nami Magnus wouldn't want that."

Omega proceeds to wipe his eyes. Then proceeds to stand, with Dallas and Charles standing up as well.

"Okay, I'm me again." Omega gets his composure together. "Alright, let's blow out this candle!"

"Men! Move out! To the silo!" Dallas barks orders as everyone proceeds out of the hanger.
