First ability-Infinite Ice

It is still the day of spirit awakening. I was just watching the news. It seems many people awakened their spirits. According to the report, around 60% of the people had awakened their spirits and it seems almost all of the people under 35 had awakened their spirits . The people who didn't awaken their spirits were mostly old people and they didn't seems to mind about it. It looked like they didn't care much about it and just want to live and die peacefully. But still i was amazed that so many people awakened their spirits. Many had same common spirits of different animals, birds, and even plants. There were even spirits of weapons, tools. Till now there was only one heaven rank grade spirit and it was Heaven-2 ranked dragon spirit. He was call Louchan and he became very popular all of a sudden and a sensation to all.

According to God, such heaven grade spirit were actually an extremely rare spirit since even dark spirit were very rare. This was because spirits could evolve. Yes, evolve. When our cultivation breaks major realms then the spirit could also increase their grade and it depends upon their rarity. So even yellow grade could reach heaven grade or some couldn't even cross yellow grade. So the spirit and us are interconnected and it is possible to increase the spirits grade too. I guess my phoenix is also rare and hope it can reach heaven grade or that mysterious grade like the twins.

The awakening lasted whole day. Looking at the news, i was also really amazed. There were many spirits that were of new types. Some people even had mythological spirits.

Later that night, my parents and brother came. Yushen was shouting and jumping. His spirit must have been pretty good. "Hey brother did you unlock the spirit? Blue spirit like your hair?You must have awaken phoenix just like us right? what grade?" he asked. Father and mother also looked at me curiously.

"Yea, it was a blue ice phoenix, Dark-2 grade" "What about you guys??" i asked.

"Whhaaatt ... Dark-2? For real brother..how did you get high grade phoenix than me? I unlocked a fire phoenix of Dark-1 grade, father awakened the same and mother, she awakened the ice bird spirit called Qingniao of Dark-2 grade too. Hmmph.. maybe it is due to mother spirit that your pheonix evolved into a ice type." Yushen explained.

Now that i think about it, that makes sense.

"Yeah since we all awakened our spirits, lets eat something special tonight." mother said.

"Yes.. Yes, that new type of beast meat today. It must be really tasty," Yushen added.

"Ok that's great.. I am kind of tired, i am going to my room," i said and went to my room. Now people have already started hunting beasts too . It must taste real good. I just laid on my bed and looked at my phone. There were lots of message on the groups . It was the group of our class. After all this happened, schools and colleges were over . I was just a quiet guy in class. I had a few friends as i didn't like talking too much but still, other knew me as i was really good at sports.I looked at the conversation and they were talking about what spirits they got. One of my classmates had got a Earth-3 rank spirit. Many were envious. My friend, Jiang was also got a Earth-1 rank Kun spirit. Most of them got yellow rank. They also asked me what i got and i told them. Compared to others it didn't seemed much but they were shocked that i got phoenix spirit as it is one of the rare spirits.

I looked at the internet for a moment and closed the phone. All these events made me really excited. I went to my mind palace and first looked at the blue phoenix. We were connected to each other as if we are the same. It gave me two abilities and i guess it is time to learn them earnestly.

I thought about the Infinite Ice. Knowledge flowed in my mind. I sat crossed legged and thought about the information. Infinite ice was one of the abilities that can control both water and ice. It was one of the ancient abilities that was created by the Emperor Of Ice. It took me few hours to understand it a little. Water is one of the major elements and it is one of the source of life. For every creation , water provides nourishment and washes all the impurities to form the body. The Essence of water is one of the Grand Essence as it gives life and nourishes the body to provide blood essence. Ice and water are just the same. Ice is just evolved from water and ice is mostly useful for offensive while water can be used both offensively and defensively. For every abilities there are stages to show the comprehension and completion - Initial stage, Minor Completion, Middle stage, major completion, Grand completion and True completion.

The phoenix flapped its wings and i could see the water just came in front of it out of nowhere and slowly it formed a small pond. I was surprised . Such things can be possible here too. Then thinking about the ability technique, i tried to control water. I first felt the presence of water then i felt like the water was a part of myself. I slowly moved my hands up and the water rose up from the pond slowly. The water then started to float and i moved the water left and right. It seems really easier. I was excited. I could control water now even though it was a little amount. I looked at the phoenix and it smiled at me. I actually touched the initial stage of Infinite ice.
