Out of Order Encounter

Muspelheim, trail to a hidden base

The smoldering heat really would reduce most to ash; it was the one place I was free to roam without consequence. Surtr was the sole person to account for on the surface, I only managed the heat through a special kind of cinder cloth made for rare occasions. I never would have imagined anything being alive up here, even for a nanosecond.

I would soon change that thought when I encountered someone, someone human-like. I normally would have been cautious if it weren't for the human-like appearance; it turns out I was half right. It was human, but not human, rather an undead. I ran into a female dullahan, surprised by the fact I wrapped cinder cloth around her and called for Spirit to extract the person as a "specimen," quotations included. We left and I was not allowed to treat her as healing would normally have the opposite effect, I didn't have the time to talk of first aid treatment. I was left to support via supplying the necessities and monitor other things. Nothing rose concern, this lasted roughly two weeks, the lady in armor awoke and Spirit's interrogations began; the conclusion was that no amount of her memories were present. After sometime we decided on checking her aura to find the mark we had as well, envy was what she had. Now we have three, better than before since the only help we had were old associates either through schooling or circumstance, whom were unfamiliar with combat and were unfit for gathering intel due to being incapable of dimensional transportation magic. We technically all were incapable, I rather than using magic I used pockets in space-time to travel, hard to master but worth it. This person, however, had to be capable as undead lacked aura controlling capabilities as their hearts' couldn't beat; Spirit and I took some time and decided on exchanging information with her and the name to identify her, Felia, was given to her. The deal ended in failure as she managed to use her magic in her sleep, time pasted had passed and an encounter between me and her occurred again.

The environment was deep underwater in a city on the top of a golem. I and Spirit were there on an investment and I was there as protection; things got out of hand as a bounty was still in place. I was now forced to stay without protection and no means out normally. Luck came to my aid, thankfully, as Felia heard of the news; I got a chance as long as I accept the terms of no combat, no concealing of identity, and I had to put the water dragon queen to sleep. The conditions were fair and I was even protected within the city boundaries: I accepted. After word caught on I met with her majesty and my flute work did the job. Then the telepathic message from Felia came in, but before we met eye to eye an old job associate took her and gunshots were fired, none landed, but my wrath got the better of me and I left to search. I found the man, the previous enforcer under the name Jackal, but no sign of Felia's aura. I settled down enough to hide in the darkness of his own shadow. I couldn't use magic as magic in an area like a branch of Yggdrasil would become obvious due to the density of the magical particles being high. I proceeded to question and occasionally harm him to calm myself, nothing irreversible though, nothing came from it. Felia was later found in Alfheim with a seer/fortune-teller. I left her be since it was pointless to follow a dimension-hopper, also I had to deal with the damages at the underwater city as the golem fell over and the castle was in ruins. The cost fell to my hands as the treasury was unsalvageable, repairs and casualties costed more than three billion in currency. I didn't spend more thanks to the lack of evidence towards my involvement.
