Breakingthrough!

Su Jun logged out of the system and his eyes opened. In front of him laid the ceiling of his house and he rose up, sitting up on the bed. He reached with his right hand into his clothes and from them pulled out a black round pill. 'Bottoms up!' He moved the pill to his mouth and swallowed it whole. It went down his throat into his stomach and dissolved in a few seconds; a few messages floated up in his head.

'From the beginning again and this time for the last time!' Su Jun closed his eyes and focused on the . He sensed the strands of Qi around him. But as he sensed them, they felt slightly different than before. He felt that inside one strand of Qi which was colourless there were five other strands and each one of a different colour. Red, green, purple, blue and white. He opened his eyes in surprise, 'Inside one strand of Qi, there are five more strands?... Hmm…The red strand must be the fire element, green strand must be the wind element, purple strand must be the lightning element, blue strand must mean the water element and white strand must mean the ice element.' He closed his eyes and focused on the once again.

One strand of Qi out of many floated towards Su Jun. It touched his skin and entered his body. It travelled through his meridians, but just before it could touch and enter his dantian, the strand of Qi suddenly split up into six and each one entered his dantian separately. One colourless, one red, one green, one purple, one blue and one white. Seven messages floated up in his head.

Su Jun opened his eyes in surprise for the second time, "Did I just get six experience points from a single strand?" he mumbled and the corners of his lips rose, forming a smile, 'With this, I will return to where I was before in a flash!… No, wait…' his face fell. A few minutes passed, during which, messages of the first bottleneck weakening kept floating up in his head but after those few minutes another message floated up in his head, . Su Jun opened his eyes, opened the bottle and gulped down ten, 10% Qi recovery pills. 'Let's go!' He felt his Qi jump back to maximum and he once again closed his eyes, focusing on the same skill.

More time passed, two messages floated up in his head and Su Jun's eyes opened again. 'Just a little more.' He chugged down the last ten pills and closed his eyes, focusing on the skill, .

Messages continued flashing and then a string of new never before seen messages floated up in his head.

Su Jun slowly opened his eyes and the corners of his lips rose, forming a wide smile, "I did it. I reached rank 4 martial mortal," he mumbled. 'I should go outside and find out how much time passed.' He jumped off his bed and walked out of the house. Walking outside, he saw Duan Xi standing by the door with closed eyes.

Duan Xi opened her eyes and turned her head to Su Jun, "Are you okay?" she said and a worried expression appeared on her face.

Su Jun smiled and shook his head, "Don't worry, I had some food hidden in my room. I didn't starve."

Duan Xi nodded with relief, "That's good," her expression returned to her usual indifferent one but then a slight smile appeared on her beautiful face.

"Duan Xi, how much time did I spent in the room and how far is the outer sect competition?" Su Jun said.

'He lost the track of time?' Duan Xi nodded, "It has been ten days. The outer sect competition is in eleven days… What do you want to do? Do you want to eat or will your return back to your room and cultivate?"

"Let's go eat," Su Jun said with a smile. 'It has been ten days since I ate together with her.'

Su Jun and Duan Xi walked out of the house area and made their way to the restaurant. On the way to the restaurant they got stared by every single disciple that they passed like before but this time there was an additional reason. It was because of the rumour that was going around the outer sect. A rumour that said that a disciple with a goddess walking by his side had both martial talent and dantian of above A-rank.

Reaching the restaurant, they entered and sat down at the first table they saw but as they sat down, three disciples came up to their table and completely ignoring Duan Xi, looked at Su Jun and all said at the same time, "I challenge you to a fight!"
