Declaring War

Brave didn't need to extrapolate as Akihito was already excited. He commanded him to go off and mine in the dust factory as his servants kept preparing dinner. Unfortunately, Tokugawa had already returned, and he appeared to be running from the west.

The only thing he could do was immediately command his two cultivators forward to intercept Tokugawa. He could hear his huffing and puffing as his health bar dropped slowly from 100 – 90 – 80 -70…

Since he was a miner, his health points only started at 100, and whomever was chasing him was nearing him fast. The two cultivators made their way to him as his voice got louder and sharper. It sounded like a pig was squeeling for mercy, but the two pursuers had once again dropped his health to forty-five.

Two men were chasing behind him, and they were wearing black and blue coats with a unique emblem on it. Since they had on two color cloaks, Brave already knew that these were inner sect disciples, or cultivators.

If he didn't take them out quickly, the other three cultivators from their sect would soon show up. At that point, even if he wanted to, he could only let Tokugawa be the serving to appease the 'beast'.

In his mind's eye, he immediately commanded his two cultivators to activate their Angel Light Cultivation Art, and a white light glowed around them slowly burning up their energy meter.

This was called EM, and it was very similar to MP in traditional mmo games. However, the true advantage of the Angel Light Cultivation Art came from the usage of EM. It used drastically less than the fire art his glowing opponents were using.

Brave picked up a spear at the blacksmith shop that had already been finished as the two cultivators began fighting the invaders. Fire shot out of their hands as his two cultivators lithely dodged their attacks.

He wouldn't command them to attack until these spears arrived, and he also needed to spend 10 energy on an evasion skill related to the Angel Light Body Cultivation Art. He quickly purchased the tempest storm evasion technique for 10 points, and then tossed the spear towards his two cultivators.

Even though the emperor could fight, he'd be crazy to enter into range of the cultivators! If he was his opponent, the first thing he'd do is send them to kamikaze into the emperor.

A second later, a notification came into his awareness.

"The West Inferno Sect has declared war on Brave's sect."

"The leader of the West Inferno Sect has sent a message… "You stupid noob! You're are using a body cultivation technique!?"

Brave immediately felt his stomach churn, but ignored the message. "You are going to regret declaring war on me. I will show you what true fear is noob." Even though Brave said this, he immediately began to question his own judgement.

However, as the coder, he knew the best techniques that went with his body cultivation arts, and perhaps it hadn't been used the way he planned when he was coding.

There was nearly an unlimited amount of skill combinations in the game, and he already planned for his first ten skills. He would show this bastard not to doubt a body cultivator!

He ran back to get another spear as fire after fire shot at his cultivators. It would be just a matter of time before his opponents ran out of energy. At this point, Tokugawa came up the hill with blood dripping down his arm looking like a pitiful dog.

He immediately sent Tokugawa to work in the mines, after hearing about him successfully reaching the neighboring town. It wasn't until he was on his way back that he was attacked, bringing a more placid look to Brave's countenance.

To his opponent's surprise, Brave's cultivators dodged all his attacks after learning the tempest evasion steps until their Energy Meter nearly ran out.

His opponent, looking on from his base, was extremely surprised and didn't know how to react. No one had played the body cultivation route in over one hundred thousand years, and he didn't know how to respond.

However, he could clearly recognize they had already learned an evasion art and wasn't in the mood to trade a life for a life. He already gotten lucky and found a sixth cultivator. In just a few minutes, he'd quickly wipe this newbie away, and take all his resources.

Quickly putting Brave's location in the map, his four cultivators charged off towards the location.

Brave had no idea that the man had gotten unbelievably lucky and received a sixth cultivator. However, he knew that if he didn't kill these two men soon, it would all be over!

Luckily, he had gotten the Whitestone Infinity dagger, and had just enough energy left to purchase a battle technique called the dragon fist. It was a skill meant for people who cultivated in fire, however, because of the code it would work for body cultivators!

The two enemy cultivators were suddenly surprised seeing a tiny dragon emblem appear on their opponents. However, what shocked them more was the execution that came afterwards!

Like two bullets charging forward, the body cultivation art took immediate effect, and the cultivators charged straight into the fire of their opponents activating the dragon fist skill. His two opponents were taking off guard and the contempt on their faces disappeared.
