"I told you!" Nishida Shou laughed, and charged down towards Brave's cultivators. Since he was a hero, unlike the other cultivators, his movements were erratic and unpredictable.
Brave immediately knew he first had to take care of Nishida Shou if he was going to win this fight, however, because of his high-class spiritual roots his power was three times stronger than the average cultivator.
Since the cultivators were divided into the low, middle, high and peak tiers, each consecutive tier was stronger than the last. This made Nishida Shou approximately three times harder to deal with then his other opponents.
He also had sold out Brave's sect, and he was going to make sure to pay him back a thousand times over! Not only was Nishida Shou a hero, but he also told the Maple Green Sect he had body cultivators!
Losing the element of Surprise, Brave had a much harder time approaching his opponents' cultivators. He planned on chopping off Nishida Shou's head and feeding it to the pigs!
The main problem now was that his body cultivators were dealing with long range attacks, and each attack got harder and harder for his cultivators to avoid. Seeing he had no chance of winning, he had to run back towards his base.
As for the Maple Green Sect Leader, he was certain Brave was going to lose the fight. He had tried for over one thousand years to defend a base with ten cultivators versus twenty-five cultivators.
The only way to even get close to breaking even was to sacrifice the emperor and promote a new emperor in his place. However, in this game, all the characters were alive and breathing! Hence, he knew his opponent wouldn't sacrifice himself.
Following him towards the base, he quickly made it up to the Brave Sect, and its headquarters. As he got there, Brave's cultivators took an abrupt turn and rushed towards them.
Nishida Shou laughed and was sent forward with five cultivators at his side. The Brave Sect appeared to be extremely desperate, and even had the nerve to try and fight an unwinnable battle!
However, as the sound of a twig snapped, Shou looked down noticing a hand reaching out of the ground. Being pulled downward by gravity, he fell straight down into a series of propped up spears with sharp points.
Without a single chance to mutter a complaint, his eyes spluttered out blood. His soul quickly left his body without a chance to complain about his death. As for the five cultivators that were behind him, up against Ono Takuya and his dragon fist, they could only attempt to dodge and attack.
However, since the body cultivators had reached the second level of the angel light body technique, they were now able to utilize the light dragon steps. Dodging the earth impression fists soaring towards their bodies, Brave's cultivators easily got close enough to attack.
Activating the Golden Torso technique, they even took a few attacks directly into their chests before their fists swelled and fired forward. With five well placed dragon fists, the Green Maple Cultivators were left with their hearts laying on the grass.
Brave's strategy of trusting the dragon to fall into the well had worked! Traps were a pivotal strategy for the one cultivator twenty miner route, and it perhaps his only chance of survival. If, for some reason, Shou didn't travel down the center of the map, underestimating him, he'd be the one dead!
However, because he was so prideful, he didn't even consider anything besides traveling down the center of the map! With six dead bodies lying on the floor, Brave's opponent looked on with shock and rage.
The trap he had fallen for was a simple weapon-based trap. It cost 1000 gems to build, and almost no one would use it because it needed to be in a precise location. However, not only did his opponent successfully use it, he even trapped his strongest team member, and killed five of his men!
His opponent even leveled up to level 6 due to the experience he got from killing an emperor! If he didn't take out Brave now, he wouldn't be able to call himself a man!
However, Brave also had similar thoughts and all ten of his cultivators activated their golden torsos and charged forward while using the Light Dragon steps. When they met in the center of the field, Ono Takuya shinned like a bright light in the darkness.
Using just one dragon fist, he dodged a series of earth impression fists and pierced another cultivator in the gut. His opponent immediately roared at the top of his lungs, and cursed Brave's luck!
Now that he had lost another cultivator, he had no choice but to call back his troops and send them into the forest. If this guy was really a noob, when it came to micromanaging his troops, he'd stand no chance!
Chasing them into the forest, Brave immediately found out what his opponent was trying to do. Using the trees, his earth impressionist fists were able to shine, and Brave's cultivators lost health quickly.
Brave had no 'choice' but to retreat to his base to the delight of his opponent. However, when they arrived, a bright light flashed as they ran inside the perimeter of his sect.
"You… you have a defensive array? You must be dumb as bricks to lock my cultivators in here with you…"
A cultivator channeled his opponent, Kahaya Ienobu's voice. "Don't you realize you are dead meat now?"
"You don't understand. You must have not faced body cultivators for a long time. In a close proximity space, you are nothing but fish on land."
"Heh, you really are full of yourself!" Ienobu's men rushed at Brave's cultivators not daring to back down. Even though he knew the odds of him losing now were about fifty-fifty, he had gotten into the lair of the beast.
Rather than directly confronting Brave's cultivators, all of their attacks seemed to miss and fly towards Brave's Sect headquarters. However, once again, Tokugawa rushed out of the mine with the forty miner's brave had acquired.
Perhaps today the bastard would finally die and serve his purpose for the sect!
With all forty of his miners in the battle, Kahaya Ienobu tried his hardest to use his micromanagement skills to the fullest. Unfortunately, just like Shou, he completely underestimated body cultivators.
After losing five cultivators, he had no choice but to run around until he finally managed to crack a hole in the defensive array. Running back to his base, he felt like a complete noob!
Brave scowled watching him run off, feeling like his victor was bitter sweet. Unfortunately, on the floor laid three of his cultivators. As for Ono Takuya, he slumped over as his heart pounded faster and faster.
"Master… please give me food! I'm so hungry!" Takuya stepped over a couple of dead bodies, as his tummy rumbled.
"You did a good job Takuya. However, I need you to go to the spiritual stone formation right away. That bastard will be back in just a few moments… As for your food, I promise I will have servants bring you a plethora of dishes."
"Really… So I'm not as useless as my mother said?"
"You are one a million Takuya. Now please hurry up and don't let your magnanimous master down! Without you, we'd already be dead!" Brave wasn't kidding, and this made Takuya feel eve more shocked.
"Okay, well… since you promised me food, I will do as you said emperor." Watching Takuya walk off, Brave smiled before going back to the Sect. In just a few hours, he suspected his opponent would be back with vengeance.
