Rogue Cultivators

Brave gave her one tenth of his resources, 2000 gems and 300 energy, causing her to nearly cry at his kindess. However, Brave's suspicion towards this beautiful lady seemed to grow enough for him to ask Takuya to watch over her.

Even though he had said ought right to Takuya that she looked harmless and distressed, he wouldn't risk his one opportunity at immortality just because of a pretty face.

His instructions were simply to study her mannerisms and to look for any pauses. If a person contacted someone else with their mental interface, usually, they would unintentionally stop moving and stare off into the distance.

Since cultivators and miners weren't able to see the players mental interface, it would also seem their eyes are darting to and fro, staring into a universe that only truly powerful individuals could possess. After taking extra time to ensure Takuya understood what he meant, like he would to a second grader, he finally went off towards the West Inferno Sect.

During the battle, Brave didn't forget about the ten cultivators that were left stranded after his opponent's head had been cut off. Because they had lost their emperor, they automatically became rogue cultivators, and were effectively mercenaries for hire.

If he found them before any other sect did, he'd be able to purchase their services and gain a massive advantage in the upcoming skirmishes. However, mercenaries were extremely disreputable and immortal individuals. Brave had to search through five villages before he finally received a message from one of his servants.

Immortal Kingdom had roughly nine villages around each sect, and he figured it would take him hours or even days to find their trail! However, fortunately, one of them seemed to have a taste for a girl he had sent out.

The servant of his, named Sasaki Rina, had caught his eye, and lured him in to partake in some drinks. Noticing that her health was slowly decreasing, Brave immediately rushed to her location, and took five cultivators with him.

At the location, he found Rina with her head against the bar, barely with twenty health remaining. Five cultivators rushed out from behind Brave and dashed towards her side.

Seeing them run around her, he laughed and threw his drink at Brave's face.

"You are a whore! I knew such a pretty little thing like you couldn't make money without using her legs!"

Swoosh!

Throwing up the table in front of him, a knife flew out of his pocket as Brave dodged the liquid. Suddenly a realization hit Brave, as his cultivators lurched forward and attacked.

If his guess was right, most likely his previous opponent had wanted to purchase hidden weapons. Only with 20,000 gems could pay for the weapons academy to train your blacksmith in! Seeing the makeshift dagger sticking through the wall, he plucked it off as his cultivators rang up the man's neck.

As for the rogue cultivator, he immediately had noticed that Brave was the emperor, and figured one well placed shot to the head would kill Brave. However, he had completely underestimated the power an emperor with high class spiritual roots!

Brave immediately slammed him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. Kicking him in the chest, he looked down at his hand as a flame appeared on his fist.

"So, I can really use dragon fist without studying the cultivation method." Brave hadn't yet found an opportunity to fight, but now was a great time to test his might.

Emperor's were an extremely powerful weapon in Immortal's Kingdom, and didn't need to cultivate unlike their peers. They would absorb the energy from the heaven's and earth due to their constitution, and only needed to purchase the skill.

However, two emperor's were not created equal, and experience still mattered. As for Brave, kicking the man in the guts a few times, he made sure his servant was alright before dragging the man outside.

"I want you to go get your men, right now, and tell them that I will pay 100 gems a day in order to recruit them."

"However, if you as so much lay a hand on this beautiful lady again, I promise your head will be fed to my tigers, and your body will be buried inside of its belly!" Brave said, petting the wild lily tiger on the head.

Seeing Brave's gigantic Tiger, the cultivator nearly shit his pants, and immediately agreed to call the cultivators.

A measly three minutes later, six rogue cultivators showed up with the nefarious cultivator.

Brave smiled at them and immediately threw out six bags of gems.

"I'm going to pay you double the normal rate that you got at the Maple Green Sect! However, remember, all of the servants are not to be touched!"

"As for the offer, if you don't take it, I can always choose to cut of your heads and take those neat weapons up your sleeves… What do you say?"
