Color Run (2)

After driving through the gridlock for  almost thirty minutes, they arrived at the starting line. They also had to navigate the crowd of people before arriving at the registration stand.

When she heard "color run," she assumed it was a local festival. She did not know it was an international event

Kim did not expect it to be a 5,000 meters run and registration was almost a D100. She was not even aware of the event in the first place. Kim was sure she couldn't run even a thousand metres, and this was five. Shaking her head, she recalled saying she would watch and not participate.

But before she could say it again, Sean handed her a white tee, a white headband and the participation kit. Turns out he had to pay extra for the participation kit.

Looking at the banners and flyers, it was a Rainbow Tour. Without much thought, she concluded it was for the LGBTQ community. It's not news that the rainbow symbolizes pride.
