Empty

She began her tour of the house once she got in. The living room was empty, save for the TV on the wall.

"I didn't decorate because I wanted you to. It's your home too." He explained.

"Oh… I keep saying thank you without doing anything for you, it feels empty." She stated her feelings.

"Then you don't need to say thank you."

"I'd seem ungrateful."

"It doesn't matter to me."

From the living room, she moved to the kitchen, "Well.. since you like cooking, I thought you'd want to get the utensils yourself."

"Don't tell me the house is completely empty, where will we sleep?" She asked him, facepalming.

"Actually, it's my first time here too. Let's go see if there's a bed." He chuckled nervously.

"If there's really no bed, we'll go to a hotel, you can't sleep on the floor like that." He motioned to her arm support.

"How come, you've not been here before? Who moved our things then?" She questioned.
