Mission Report: More Than Expected

Carl returned home late. After having dinner, he went to his room to shower when he saw a package on his bed.

Ordinarily, no one except Kim and Allan entered the house. Allan had no reason to give him a gift without informing him so he assumed it was Kim who left it there.

Without thinking much he went to shower.

Later, he picked up the package, examining it before calling Kim.

As soon as it rang, he placed it on speaker then he began unwrapping the box.

Her raspy voice came through the speakers, "Hey…"

"Did I wake you? I'm so sorry, I'll call you later."

She hurriedly interrupted, "It's fine, how was work?"

"The usual." By then he had already uncovered the package. It contained a brown envelope.

He was about to ask her about her day when he saw the content of the brown envelope.

It was a report of everything about him including his daily routine and pictorial evidence.

With the words, "You can't hide from me".
