Chapter three - Saving Castiel

We stood at the mouth of the cave looking out at the world only remembering how it was back when there's was still a beauty to our nature when there was still animals living in peace open the fields, the forest where scary stories was created where demolished a world left in dust. We knew that it was to late but maybe we could still safe it all before it goes to far.

We contemplated about the plan for an hour and finally came to a conclusion we needed to be as stealthy as possible until we find out where his friend is imprisoned then we can be as reckless was we want to be. We went back into the cave to preparing for a fight which we might not be able to win but we still needed him to fight among us, the fire died out then out of nowhere a vision of his friend on his knees in the middle of a burned up village near a church, a big of shadows close to him with smoke and crows surrounding them. We both looked at each other with fear not knowing which village it could be and was afraid of coming there to late that's when a name appeared in our heads the village Heaven was the place we had to go to knowing it will be a suicide mission we where a ready as we will ever be and ran out the cave towards the village.

We ran as fast as we could hoping that we will make it in time, forgetting about the plan we made ran through open fields trying to make it to this village where this vision lead us, as we got closer to this village we ran past two monster walking alongside each other, flinching we went for the closes bush trying to stay out of sight and luckily they didn't notice us. As we gasp for air we glanced at them, it brought more questions than answers but we didn't have time to observe there behavior we noticed that they were about the same height as us and looked like a statue that came to life, we have never seen such horror for our time. Dragniel touched me on my shoulder and pointed that I should follow him, as I looked back once more at these creatures I saw these objects on their backs, as I studied the objects thoroughly I noticed that it must have been there weapons that can nullify magic with ease, what I saw on the ones back was a long thin metal forged onto a handle and on the other ones back it looked like a hammer just ten times bigger and had a longer reach. We came to the city and moved through the shadows of the burned buildings trying not to get seen by these two or anybody else, we followed these creatures to the middle of the village, the church was from our vision was here and as we looked to the ground we saw bodies all over, old and young just laying in the streets lifeless and then we heard one of them called out in madman's tone of voice "its finally ready we can bring the last sacrifice upon the lands to open the gates to our world and bring more of our kind into this land".

We saw many familiars standing behind these creatures like they were worshiping them. They dragged Castiel to the middle of this ring and we hear the crows singing above our heads and then they chanted a spell which was unknown to this world. One of them turned to Castiel asking him "any last words" he looked straight us and smiled, saying "you and your kind will be destroyed by my kind we will overpower you and send to back to oblivion" as he took his last breath with rage they snapped his neck.

With angry tears Dragniel bursting out with rage screaming his name as Castiels body falls to the ground, he almost gave our position up If it wasn't for the a big bang we all heard after his neck was snappd they would have found us and killed us were we stood. Staying in the shadows we Searched for a way to defeat them, my brain almost fried up thinking off a way. As I took a moment to relax, it revealed itself to me the perfect plan, I dint know if it will work but it was better than what we had and that was absolutely nothing. I explained to Dragniel That we have to put the vengeance aside and work together for this plan to work, I explained to him "we are going to kill them all for what they have done not just to us but to all of our people, we are going to achieve this by using their own objects against them.

At the time Dragniel looked confused and said without thinking "kill them…...with there own weapons, how in the first place will we get even close enough to them to grab there weapons". I said with a straight face "we are masters of magic and i have a few tricks up my sleeve that could work."

I look to them advising a plan and with my luck they were splitting up. I took the opportunity to our advantage and told him to move out of sight. He told me "we are going to have ambush them to even stand a chance of winning. We are only going to get one shot with this so make it count".

As he left to distract the creature coming towards us, I started climbing this burned building that we hid behind by the time I got to the roof the creature was close, waiting for Dragniel to get in to position the creature moved right under me after a few seconds Dragniel was still nowhere to be seen, I took action I created a double of myself in front of this creature and it looked detracted, leaping of the roof and chanting a spell under my breath for a soft landing as it seemed that I needed to land behind him, as I landed I looked up it doesn't seem like he has notice me yet. Using my advantage over him I went straight for his weapon as I got my hand on the handle of his weapon he turned around, I gave a small jump passing him getting its weapon off its back just in time, as he turned he saw my shadow on the floor, surprised it turn to me and screamed "Give me back what you stolen from me".

As I looked at this weapon a visions filled my head, I saw the knowledge of all the warriors that bearded this weapon. I got an image of their world the destruction they have caused among themselves. It felt like I have been training with this weapon all my life, he looked at me and grinned "do you even know how to use that thing". I stepped forward and the next thing I knew I was behind him with blood on the blade, I didn't even remember passing or cutting him with the sword, I turned around just in time to see him fall to the ground it felt like he was falling in slow motion as I walked closer to study him, his body burst into flames it left a smell like death in the wake, I stepped back because of the flames bursting everywhere, wondering why would someone destroy there own body what was the reason for that.

As I looked around searching for Dragniel I got an uneasy feeling around me, I vanished back into the shadows I moved around slowly searching for Dragniel after a few min of looking around I finally found him in the hand of one of the creatures, he was being held up into the air by the throat I looked at the sword and said "protect him please" I came out the shadows running silently towards this monster closing my eyes and thinking what to do as I opened my eyes I thrust the sword straight through the creature spinning him around as I past him my feet gave in from under me and I dropped to the floor rolling a few meters I came to a stop and struggled to stand up, looking at the creature and Dragniel I noticed that my weapon wasn't in my hand anymore, with suspense I searched on the ground for it, that's when I remember the sword slipping out of my hands as it penetrating the creature, as I look up I see my sword still inside this monster and it trying to pull it out.

Then I saw Dragniel behind this creature looking down at it, he picked up the hammer shape object from the ground saying "any last words" with shock the creature hesitated and Dragniel smashed the creatures head in its body splitting it completely in half, Missing the sword with millimeters, pulling the sword out gasping for air he said "man this weapon is heavy o and I think this belongs to."

We could finally kill these creatures without any effort or magic but Dragniel still had anger in his heart. Getting closer to Castiels body the air drew cold as we saw his lifeless body on the ground Dragniel walked slowly towards the body, it looked like he lost feeling straight through his whole body we got next to Castiels body and he dropped to his knees wanting to pick his friend up the body but it started to fade away, we heard a voice come out from behind us saying "Don't cry just yet brother we still got a lot to do before its my time to go, I still cant believe that they could fall so easily for mirror magic, I played them so well' He came out from the shadows and walked closer to great Dragniel and as he got closer Dragniel moved like the wind past me hitting Clastiel out of his shoes screaming "you bastard I though that, that this was the end of you" Castiel looked shocked at him, not for the reason that he knocked him down but for the reason that he looked like he was at the breaking point of going insane.

Castiel stood up from the ground and dusted himself off and picked up the axes beside him looking at them and stating "its weird I have never seen these weapons in my life before and yet I have knowledge of how fight with it" I looked at Castiel and Dragniel and said "the same happened to me when I grabbed a hold of this sword it was like I have been training my whole life with this weapon although I just got it a few hours ago."

Castiel looked at me and said to Dragniel "ian't you going to introduce me to your friend" Dragniel smiles and said "this is" he paused and asked with a confused face "you never told me your name."

I replied "my name is Ezekiel."

It got quiet between us and Dragniel asked "how did you escape these creature capture" he looked at the bodies and said "this isn't the time nor place for such a story, we need to get back before any other creatures show up." At this point I knew that we had to stick together although we didn't know what to do next but knew that we had the power and weapons to go to war and end all of this. As we walked out the village the skies turned dark all the sudden, he stopped and said to himself it can't be, then told us that we need to get to higher grounds. We followed him up a narrow path to the top, as we arrived at the top, we saw it an entire race of monsters landing one by one like comets on our planets, it was like hell came raining down on our world not far from us an object landed and we saw leaders at the front and an a platoon at the back looking like they were waiting for orders or something. They stood on one spot and did nothing, then the planet started to quake they all looked up at the sky for a split second and then looked down hey broke up into units each platoon with a leader going to different direction.

We all said at the same time "this war is far from over"

Standing on this landmass looking over the valley seeing these creatures moving in groups Dragniel said " its now or never tell us what happened" Castiel got quiet and stated"when I was captured they dragged me along the ground tied up dust was everywhere, while I was dragged along the floor I decided to do a mirror spell and a portal spell it was the hardest thing to do my timing had to be perfect and i nailed it as I went through the portal my double took over and they didn't even notice that I was missing, I decided to see what they wanted to do so I followed them we came to this town Heaven and they started destroying everything stating if the people don't bow in front of them they will be killed no wanted to bow at first and attacked these creatures it was torturing watching them die but there was nothing I could do about it that when a creature caught my eye it was like the weapons was calling to me I followed it and killed it with it own weapons the next thing I knew you guys come running past me an didn't even notice me at all and then the rest I guess you know". Looking at these creatures moving in different directions we knew that our journey was only starting, it wasn't going to be an easy one but we had the right tools to kill these creatures now and had each other to look after, as the wind blew the sand and dead leafs up we walked away to prepare for the next chapter in our life a battle that never should have happened, Thinking what is in store for us and our futures.
